Chapter 51
Brendax laughed almost falling off the chair when the message popped on his phone. He looked at it then immediately jolted his head and looked at Alexia.
'What's wrong?" Alexia sensed the change in his demeanor.
'The president's son is here," he answered.
Alexia smiled and nodded her head. Just then, the door flung open and five security men walked in first with guns pointed in the air. Alexia stood up, a smile still on her face, not offended by the strangers who barged into her office.
Just then, a young man walked in. He looked very handsome, he had chocolate curly hair which covered the front of his head. He wore a black shirt and black trousers, his tattoo poking from his folded sleeves. He looked hot, too hot with his dark blue eyes looking at Alexia with a warm smile draped on his lips.
'I saw what you did at the mall, your men have started working." The young man uttered as he walked closer to Alexia who felt honored.
Alexia smiled then offered him a seat looking at the men behind him, she didn't like that they were many but she said nothing too. He was the president's son, of course, he would have this much protection around him.
'I'm sorry about the men." He apologized.
Alexia nodded her head. She understood.
'Pardon my manners, I didn't introduce myself, I am Alexander Corner, the president's son." He introduced looking at her with a smile on his face.
'It is fine, I already knew you. You are quite popular, I follow you on Instagram." Alexia added.
It was true, that Alexander Corner was famous amongst the ladies, especially for his cuteness and his love for music.
'I feel so loved. I came because my birthday party is coming up in two days. My dad informed me that you have the best chef at hand, I came here to confirm myself."
Alexia smiles, she knew Alexander was talking about Rayden. Alexia had talked about Rayden to the president once and he mentioned he was going to fix her somewhere, Alexia didn't expect it to be so soon.
'Of course, I have the best with the best services. I will forward her number to you."
'Also, I'm inviting you personally to my birthday, I love your face in suits and I'm sure I will love it better in a dinner gown." He complimented. His eyes did not leave her beautiful face once.
Previously, he thought the C.E.O of Y and T groups was going to be a robust married lady until he saw Alexia sitting In front of him looking very beautiful. He checked her hand well but saw no wedding rings which meant she was single and even if she was in a relationship, he was the president's son, he would hijack her from the man without blinking an eye.
However, he prayed in his heart that she would be single, he knew Alexia isn't that type of woman to be hijacked.
Getting up, he walked out of the office after shaking her one more time.
Standing up as well and raising her head she saw that Dylan was already in the room and he was looking at the President's son. Alexia ignored him and escorted the handsome man which only pissed Dylan off.
Entering her office, she saw that Dylan had taken his seat on her chair, spinning around with a pen in his hand. She couldn't help but notice that his face looks more handsome whenever he had the serious look on. She hated that she noticed that.
'What do you want?" She folded her hand across her chest looking at him.
'You." He answered.
'What are you talking about, Dylan." She wanted to hear him say it.
Dylan frowned then stood from his chair.
'I want you, Alexia. I want you back into my life. I miss..." Before he finished, Alexia interjected,
'Where did you get that from, Google?" She raised an eyebrow.
Dylan sighed walking closer to her, he tried to hold her but she pushed him off. She wanted his hands on her waist, his hands had touched her briefly but it was the only thing she could think about yet she cannot give him the chance to hold her.
'Get out of my office, Dylan!" She shouted, annoyed. Lies, everything that comes out of his mouth is nothing but lies. She thought. Dylan doesn't love me. He can never love me. I am not Kylie.
She turned around, her hands draped over her body like she was catching a cold when in fact, she could feel the heat emit from his body. He didn't go, he didn't go out yet, he was staring at her and she could feel it.
She wanted to tell him to stay, stay with her and touch her - hold her. She wanted his hands around her waist, his lips near her cheeks, and his nose sniffing her hair. She wanted him to wrap her hands around his huge biceps, trailing her fingernails along his tattoo.
She wanted him to kiss her, kiss her so much, that her brain becomes slow to decipher anything else. Kiss her so much she becomes oblivion to her surroundings only wanting him, only him.
However, all these wishes can not be fulfilled. She can not have all these wishes because this man doesn't love her at all. Lost in her thought, it came as a shock when his hands' snaked around her waist and his head lay on her shoulder. She took in a startled breath not wanting to breathe so she wouldn't think of pushing him away but she did. She yanked from his embrace, feeling the heat grasp her once she was out of his hold.
She felt lonely again when she pulled herself out of his hold but she didn't think much about it. She had to send him away and move on quickly before the emotions fill her entire existence and she wouldn't be able to control herself again.
She knew she had to move on. Away from his embrace, to get something else, something else that would feel her up, something that would catch her, protect her - make her feel safe, security, awareness, love, care.
Every one of them, she needed to feel it with someone else, someone else that wouldn't hurt her. Someone that would love her too much, that would be scared of losing her. That wouldn't be able to bear the thought of seeing her get hurt.
Not Dylan
Dylan can never be that man.
The thing.
Never!
