Chapter 21

Dylan set his eyes on her. She moved closer to him and continued,
'I heard the man did plastic surgery. My friend dated him once because he was rich and cute, you know. While dating him, she found out he is an obsessive man over ladies. He hits ladies when you don't do what they want he wants. When they try to escape from him or whatever. At first, he acts like an angel but deep down he is a devil; a handsome devil." She elucidated.

Dylan widened his eyes.
He looked at Alexia.
'I think that woman is his next victim. I see him watching her most of the time. I tried asking his assistant the reason Austin kept starting at the young lady but he gave me money to keep my observation to myself. I know there is something Austin is planning." She looked at Alexia as well.

'Thank you." Dylan uttered, picked his laptop and walked away. The girl named pearl looked at him until he was out of sight.
'I didn't tell you all that to receive a common thank you, I need you inside of me!" she yelled but he was far gone.

Dylan walked to his room, he paced to and fro thinking about Austin. He knew he had to tell Alexia about him but she would never believe him so that's not an option.
I just have to keep an eye for him.
I just knew he was bad news.
Bringing us here for a Buiness trip but talking to Alexia with those seducing eyes, I knew he was bad news!" he thought.

Dylan needed to talk to her.
He missed talking to her already but he knew she wouldn't talk to him but he knew how sad she was and how much she needed to be talked to. Anytime she talked to someone, a smile appears on her face but whenever she was alone, she looked sad like a mother who just lost her child.

Night Time:

Alexia got dressed, she wore a red gown with silver heels. She took a silver looking purse and walked out with her car key. She had received a call from Austin saying he was there already.
When she walked out, she looked at Dylan's door, she wanted to push through that door and say; ‘Damn what happened and what you did, I just want to be around you. I want your hands around my body!'
But she can't.
She isn't cheap and she isn't going to watch herself get hurt again.

She passed his hotel room and took the elevator to the lobby. She reached the parking lot and took her car to the location Austin sent.
She realised that it's a Mexican based restaurant.
She hadn't really been around Mexico so she hadn't heard a lot of people speaking Spanish. The hotel they had stayed was an English based one, they don't speak Spanish to them at all.

She arrived at the parking lot.
Before she came out of her car, she looked around. She saw that the restaurant was really nice. Her mom loves Mexico alot, it was one of the reason she agreed to come although she was not really needed.
She got down from her car and walked inside the restaurant, the door opened automatically and a fair lady walked to her; she had brown curly hair and she wore uniform with the name of the restaurant written in cursives at the right side of the chest.

'La acogida(Welcome)" she greeted.
Alexia nodded her head and followed her direction until she saw Austin from afar.
'Thank you." She said to the lady and went to meet Austin quickly.
The place was a very nice place and it looked private. Austin must have ordered for a private place for them. Alexia found it very nice and thoughtful.

She sat in front of him.
He looked very handsome with his chocolate hair. His face was very handsome and calm. He wore a suit that fitted his body very well.
On the table were different delicate Mexican food; Machaca(Shredded dried beef), Discada, Tacos, Wild turkey stew, some burritos, and the rest of Mexican favorite dishes.
Alexia looked at the colorful food and didn't even know where to start from. What is better than a date with a lot of foods?

She took her took some of the food and began to munch on it. She smiled at Austin who kept staring at her while eating his own food.
Just then, the waitress walked in with a glass tray which contained a sugar rimmed glass; Like juice blended with tequila and triple sec. It was a margarita cocktail; classic margarita.
Alexia loved Margarita.
She watched as the waitress stride to their place. She was so excited, she clapped her hands and was eager for it to drop in front of her.
She was more excited because of the decorations they did all around the sugar rimmed glass cup which contained the cocktail. There were a lot of fruits around it but it was shaped in so many beautiful designs.

'This is beautiful," she uttered as the waitress walked to her. However, the waitress was just few steps away from Alexia's side when an unknown someone - in a hoodie- purposely used his broad and well built body to pour the whole drink to the floor.
Alexia widened her eyes as the glass tray fell to the floor and a big mess was made.
'Oh my goodness!" Alexia yelled.
She raised her head and looked at who had done the mess. She recognised him so well even though he wore an hoodie. She stood and walked closer to him, she pulled the hoodie. She was right, it was him - Dylan.

Of course, only him would be bold enough to make such a mess. Only him wanted to ruin her so bad and take away anything that makes her happy. Alexia face turned dark shade of red. She looked at Dylan with so much anger.
'What the hell do you want from me, Dylan young?!" she yelled almost raising her hand to slap him. She was so angry, she was frustrated. She was exasperated. She was tired.
She was tired of him doing this to her.
Showing up in her life at any chance he gets.
Ruining things for her.
'Why did you come here? You did this purposely to ruin my date right? Why? What did I do to deserve this from you? Haven't you done enough already?!" she yelled to him, she was so angry she could give him a dirty slap but she didn't.

Rather, she turned around, picked her bag and walked our.
Dylan stared at her until she was gone.
His face morphed into a sad one but when Austin walked to him, his phone changed to a furious one.
He quickly held Austin by the cloth and dragged him closer.
'You! What were you planning? I saw you and everything you said to that man on the phone. What are you planning to do to her?!!" he yelled to his face.

However, Austin only laughed.
A long laugh aroused from his mouth.
'You are too stupid! You think doing it this way will save her? You're doing too much and you will only make her fell into my trap more and more. Whatever I do with Alexia is none of your Buiness ‘cause between you and I, I love Alexia the most and I can take care of her better. Unlike you, she gave you a chance but you messed it up. Let me remind you, Alexia was the prettiest girl back in high school and even in college, do you know how many men wanted her? But she turned all of then down but she accepted you. Yet, you made her regret that decision and you think you deserve her? Are you trying to be a hero now?" Austin released another round of laughter.

Dylan gently released him.
He digested everything Austin had said. It was as though he didn't realise it before.
He didn't realise how much he had hurt Alexia and he was still doing the same thing.
He released Austin's cloth and the man walked out after leaving enough money to cover the bills. The drink he had poured away was not his problem but the purpose of the drink.

Dylan watched him until he was out of sight.
He buried his head into his palm. He remembered seeing Austin leaving the Hotel room, he walked to his car which was parked at the parking lot. Dylan knew he had to follow him so he walked out of his room and also followed Austin.
Austin drove to the Mexican restaurant, Dylan followed him and parked his car after Austin walked into the restaurant.
He followed Austin until they got to a secluded place.

Austin was with a man.
After looking around, Austin saw no one but Dylan was hiding behind one of the plastic trees kept in the passage way.
'I need you to spike the Margarita. I want you to make the most expensive one; one that will dazzle her." Austin said.

The man in front of him was one of the bartender. Austin gave him some Mexican cash and even gave him a car key which made the Man's eyes dilate.
Austin smiled and walked away.

Dylan heard everything.
He knew the drink was spiked and Austin was planning something. However, he didn't want Alexia to take the drink so he poured it away.
'Perhaps I shouldn't have done that. I shouldn't she been selfish, I should have thought of the way she would feel. I should make things right." he said and stood up.

'But I will not let you hurt Alexa, Austin." He muttered and walked away.
He went to his car and was about to drove out when he saw that Alexia's car was still in the parking lot. He got down from his car and went to the car but there was no one there.

His eyes widened.
'That bastard!" he yelled.
He began to search everywhere for Alexia but he couldn't find her anywhere. He went to the back of the restaurant, he saw that there was a pool there.
He knew she would be there for sure.
He went further and indeed, he saw her staring at the pool water.

'Alexia..." he called.
'Stay back, don't come any me. I want to be alone so leave me alone." She answered.
Dylan stayed rooted to the floor.
He only stared at her.
'The first time you took me on a date and asked out, what did I say to you?" she asked still looking at the pool.
'Uhm... I asked you out and you you asked me what I wanted from you truly." His heart broke as he said the words.
'What did you say to me?"
She asked again.
'Alex..."
'Just talk!" she objected.

Dylan groaned hesitantly.
'I said I wanted you to be my reason for waking up each day. I said I wanted a companion. I said all I want is to love you forever." He remembered the words vividly because it was a pickup lines.

'Great, how far with that." She turned to him.
She wasn't crying but it looked like she was going to cry any time soon.
'Dylan, now, I'm asked you what you wanted and you told me which is obviously a lie. Right now, I want you to ask me what I want." A faint smile appeared on her lips.

Dylan didn't blink, it was as though his eyelid had suddenly became heavy. He groaned hesistantly again and moved his leg a little.
'What do you want, Alexia?"
He knew what she was going to say.
He knew she was going to say something that would make her cry and break his own heart.
'Stay the hell away from me, Dylan." She spoke softly and walked away, brushing his chest as she walked past him.

Like an indian movie, the scene replayed over and over again in Dylan's head.
The emotions, they came rushing.
He felt rejected.
He wanted to make her happy but he was rejected.
He felt guilty.
He blamed himself.
She was crying, it broke his heart.
His feelings, they were inexplicable even to him.
