Chapter 8

Dylan turned around, it wasn't someone he expected. It was his younger sister, Anna Young.
'When did you return?" he asked, he watched as the lady drop her belongings on his bed. She fell on it like a bag of rice, pulling her heels in the process.

'Well, dad told me to come back because I am done with school now. Yes, your baby girl is a graduate!" she squealed the last part.

'Okay. Good news, I was one a few years ago, it isn't‘' that exciting." He rolled his eyes and looked away.

'Brother, I graduated with flying colors and you think it's not exciting. Whatever, I will be working at dad's company now, that should sound exciting to you." She sat up and began to fiddle over her bag bringing out her cell phone.

'Great! Can you go back to your room now? I need to start working immediately."

'Okay, I'm going over to see Alexia. I haven't seen her for ages!" she squealed and carried her bags.

Hearing Alexia, Dylan looked at her. He remembered the way she looked at him back at the office, she didn't laugh at him even though it was written on his face that he was hurt. Maybe he should have given Alexia a much better chance.

'Although you broke her heart with that..." Anna paused and rolled her eyes. She had always hated Kylie since she heard she cheated on Dylan with his best friend. She knew Dylan deserved it but it didn't ruin the hatred that developed in her heart for Kylie.

'Alexia is a good woman, too bad you lost her to another guy now." She turned around and walked out leaving Dylan to his thoughts.

Evening:
Alexia had just taken her bath, she packed her long and dark hair into a bun. She wore a tank top and pink shorts that flaunt her flat belly, small waist, and wide hips. She sat in the backyard, in front of the swimming pool and dazzling warm lights.

She was busy with some work she wasn't able to finish at the company thanks to some ex-drama. At the same time, she watched her phone, expecting Henry to return her calls which he didn't.

Alexia wondered what had happened to her husband. At least they are husband and wife, they should share things right? Henry didn't tell her why he looked so sad and worried, he didn't tell her what he had to take care of. He left her in the dark to worry and imagine what he was going through.

'God, protect him and keep him save for me," she said a little prayer in her heart, then continued her work.

Just then, someone came in, walking in her direction. It was Anna Young, she had just returned from another country. She finished her master's degree in flying colors. She was also the immediate sister to Dylan young.

'Alexia!" she called and Alexia turned around.
Seeing her, a smile crept on Alexia's lips. She stood and went to hug her immediately. She hadn't seen her in months, since she left for her masters.

'You're so pretty!" Anna commented, she touched her wavy and dark hair which had always enhanced her beauty.

'You too! When did you come back?" asked Alexia, she sat and Anna did the same.

'Today, I had to see you. I heard what my brother did to you, I couldn't call because I was ashamed of what he did. I... I took you as my sister, I couldn't believe he did all that to you. You know Karma caught up with him; he caught that bitch sleeping with his best friend as well. I'm sure he has learned his lesson and God is really fighting for you." Anna's hands were carefully caressing Alexia's palm.

Alexia gave a little smile.
'I don't care, you know." Truly, whether karma caught up with him or not, Alexia didn't care. It wouldn't change the pain he had caused her

Just then, Alexia's phone beeped. She was expectant. Not money. Not business. Not her best friend but expectant of that messages. That text message meant a lot to her. That gave her hope. Hope that there was someone out there watching her. Hope that there was someone out there that really loved her. Hope that there was someone out there that cares about her. Hope that someone out there knew her more than anyone. Hope that she didn't have to talk before and knows the part that hurts and how to soothe them with only words.

Yes, she shouldn't trust the stranger. However, if he wanted anything he would have taken it. They had met once, she was drunk and he helped her home without taking anything from her or hurting her. It showed he wanted nothing.

She clicked the message expectantly, what she saw made her eyes pop. Her heart beat accelerated, She wasn't expecting it to happen now.

'Meet me at Sunshine Coast, near the waterfalls. I want to see your beautiful face. You might not know but you lighten my day. Right now, I feel disturbed and the next thought is seeing your face cause it makes my day. Please, I swear I won't hurt you."

She believed him, she believe this guy although she had never seen him. She believed he would never hurt her. She believed he would be nice to her and would never cause her pain.

Perhaps, she was stupid for believing him. He was nothing but a stranger but she believed him regardless.
Alexia looked at Anna who had busied herself with her phone.
'Ahem..." she cleared her throat to gain her attention.

Anna raised her head.
'Work calls. I have to go right now," she said.

Anna nodded her head, she picked up her bag and car keys and then walked away after hugging Alexia.
Alexia rushed to her room, she wore a crop top and blue jeans trousers with a blazer. She applied some lipstick and eyebrows before setting out.

Her heart beat precipitated at the thought of meeting that man. She didn't know what she would feel. Probably, she would tell him to stop messaging and inform him that she was married.
As much as she loved the messaging and attention he provided, she was married and she cannot cheat on her husband.

She drove to Sunlight coast, a relaxing place for anyone. She got there in twenty minutes since it wasn't very far and she was eager to meet that person so she drove faster.
She got out of her car and walked to the waterfall area, she kept looking around. She knew he would recognize her - she thought he would.

She walked further until she got closer to the waterfalls, the view was nice. It had blue and yellow light switching to red in the water. It made everywhere very beautiful, it would be very nice for couples.
If Henry hadn't left her as he did earlier, she would be with him here dancing under the cool weather. She would wrap her hands around his neck and gently move without music because he was more than music to her.

She would clasp her lips on his. She would tell him to touch her waist and kiss her cheeks. She would ask him to tell her how much he loved her and his explanation would clear every doubt she ever had about love. He would create new memories that wouldn't bring tears but laughter to her face.

It would be really nice.
'Alexia." He called.
Who called? She turned around. However, who she saw made her pounding heart accelerate. The man in front of her was extremely handsome, his face was beautifully outlined, and craved.
'My secret admirer?" she thought and asked out loud.
