Chapter 6

Dylan young walked into Alexia's office looking handsome as always. His dark hair was styled to suit his face well, his blue eyes were as blue as the ocean. He smiled at her whilst she rolled her eyes at him. Regan did the same and exited the office.

'Why does it seem like your assistant hates me?" he asked looking at her. He reached the front of the table and sat opposite her.

'I didn't give you the permission to sit." She raised her brows.
'And I didn't ask," he replied cockily.

Alexia said nothing but rolled her eyes, she continued to work on the files in front of her wondering what he wanted. However, he didn't say anything, he just stared at her as she worked.

'Are you that jobless today? Even if you are, I bet you there are some hidden works in this company, as long as you don't mind getting your hands dirty." she gave a mischievous smile.

Dylan smiled,
'As long as it's you, I don't mind. In fact, I could get my mouth in it as well." His eyes moved from her face to her chest. Alexia rolled her eyes, she followed his eyes and saw that a few of her shirt buttons were opened.

'You son of a freaking bitch!" She quickly buttoned and covered her cleavage. At this point, she was more than annoyed.

'What do you want from me, Dylan? Do you suddenly want to get back with me after finding out that Kylie is about to get married to my father? I know that is why you are back. Too bad, I am taken. Now you will have to spend the rest of your life in your father's bar drinking until you die!" She seethes with anger, mocking him.

Dylan's eyes dilated after hearing her words.
'Kylie is getting married?" He thought looking at her. Now, he was confused. He came here to ask Alexia if she knew Kylie's whereabouts only to find out that she is getting married.

'Oh…" a pitying look flashed on Alexia's face after she saw the shock on his face. It seemed he didn't know that Kylie was getting married to her father.

'Oh my goodness, don't tell me… you didn't know." she looked at him, mockingly.

'I'll get going," he said, stood up, and walked out hurriedly.

Alexia wanted to laugh so bad, she wanted to mock that man but she couldn't bring herself to. She knew what it feels like, she knew what it was like getting betrayed by someone you trust. They had done it to her. They had betrayed her. They had sliced her heart into million pieces. They had made her cry until tears no longer fell from her eyes. They had cost her to pray to God to take that pain away. It was horrible, she wouldn't wish for it to happen to anyone else.

Flashback:
Alexia had just gotten the news that her mother died in an accident. She just left the hospital, her hands and legs were shaking, and she couldn't even drive or pick up her phone.

She could only beg the nurse to help her call a cab which took her to her boyfriend's house that day. She alighted from the cab and walked into the mansion. She had a spare key that enabled her to enter the house.
At first, she saw heels at the entrance, she thought it was his sister or some other excuse that wouldn't lead to heartbreak.

However, walking up the stairs and stopping in front of his room, Alexia heard moans coming from his bedroom. She stood there, hoping that he was watching porn; anything... Anything except him cheating on her. She breathe in and out, telling herself that Dylan wouldn't cheat and he was only watching porn

It was until she entered the room until she saw with her two eyes; the blonde hair sitting on top of her boyfriend, kissing him. His hands were behind her waist, they were kissing hotly; in the process of making out.

A new set of feelings seeped into her body, she shivered in pain. The anguish settled inside of her. It was traumatic. Everything built up in her body, making her static, only staring at them and they stared back. They didn't even look guilty, they looked back at her as though she was the intruder.

Back To Reality:
Alexia couldn't remember moving out of his house. That day, her leg was rooted to the floor, she knew she didn't walk out of the house herself. When she woke up, she found herself in her room.
Everything was like a dream but when she called Dylan, he confessed that it wasn't a dream and he didn't feel sorry about it.

Looking at his retreating figure, Alexia felt so much hatred. The pain from that time came back and she felt worst than before. The whole issues with Henry, her father, and Kylie added to it. She didn't want to stay longer in the office thus, she packed all the files she was supposed to work on and walked out.

She entered her car, ignited, and drove away. Alexia kept blinking her eyes to prevent her from crying, it was the last thing she wanted. She didn't want to cry, she didn't want to be weakened by it again.
She had moved on, she moved on with Henry so it shouldn't hurt at all.

At the same time, her phone beeped. She stopped driving to check the message. She was a Businesswoman, any messages on her phone could mean a million dollars.
She checked it and saw it was an Imessage. She opened it, it was a message from her secret admirer. Her heart skipped a beat when she saw the content of the message.

'Who are you?" she thought looking at the content on her phone. At this period, Alexia really wanted to know who it was.
