Chapter 56: They Relax

Reign

We walked in and the receptionist looked at me and rolled her eyes, “What do you want?” She sighed. “First of all, you will not roll your eyes at my sister, who also happens to be your Queen.” Grace growled. “You will show her respect!” Aleya finished. “Ladies, what is the problem?” Aunt Ebbie asked. “Just reminding this mutt who her Queen is.” Aleya narrowed her eyes. “Whatever.” The girl commented. “That is enough!” Aunt Ebbie scolded. “You are excused for the day; you will be on unpaid leave for a week. Disrespect for your Queen or anyone else, will not be tolerated.” “You can’t do that!” the girl huffed. “Yes, I can, and I just did. Now go!” Aunt Ebbie pointed to the door. The girl gathered her things and stomped out. “I’m so sorry.” Aunt Ebbie sighed. “It’s okay Ebbie.” I assured her. “Well, now what can I do for you?” She asked leading me to her office. “This is kinda awkward.” I mumbled. “Did...has Damien spoke to you in the last week?” I asked. “No, but things have been pretty busy and hectic for us all. I know he mentioned to me that he wanted to talk to me about something, but he didn’t tell me what. Is there anything wrong?” She asked carefully. “Go on ask her.” Grace encouraged but I remained quiet. Grace huffed. “Doc, um...since they found out about the pregnancy, well her needs have seemed to increase and haven’t been addressed.” Grace explained. “There seems to be some concern about harming her and the pups. It has caused some concerns and loneliness.” “Reign, is this true?” Aunt Ebbie asked. “He hasn’t touched me...intimately in a couple of weeks and believe me, I have tried. He said he doesn’t want to hurt me or the pups.” I couldn’t help but blush. Aunt Ebbie chuckled. “Well, for now there is no reason for you two not to get...close. It’s really up to you and if you’re comfortable, when things get uncomfortable then you can find other ways to enjoy each other.” She explained.

“Would you tell him for me? He may not believe me.” “Of course, I will.” “Please don’t tell him I came to you.” I fought tears back. “Oh sweetie,” she rubbed my arm, “how long has this been going on?” “It was a good for the first week, then he just stopped.” I sobbed. “I don’t know maybe he doesn’t want me anymore. Don’t tell him, never mind. We were never here.” I started rambling. “Whoa, slow down.” Aleya said. “No, you can’t tell him, if you do and he...it will just be outta pity.” Aunt Ebbie. I heard Damien’s voice. “Reign, babygirl, what’s wrong? Are the pups, okay? Are you sick?” His face turned to worry. “I’m fine.” I said quietly. Grace and Aleya had already exited the room. “Babe, what’s wrong? Please tell me.” He begged. Aunt Ebbie looked at me and she nodded, I swallowed hard. “Do...do you still...” I paused “...want me? I whispered out. Damien’s went wide eyed. “What? Why wouldn’t I want you?” He moved towards me. “You...you haven’t...touched me since we found out that we’re having triplets.” I said fighting my tears. “Babe, I’m sorry but I’m afraid I’ll hurt you or the pups or even all of you. I love you so much it hurts, you are my world, my life. You are giving me three precious gifts that I can’t wait to meet.” He said pulling me into his arms. “I never meant to make you feel like this. I am so sorry.” He caressed my back. “Damien, as long as Reign feels okay and is up to it, I see no reason for the two of you to avoid each other. Remember there are also other ways to please each other without penetration.” Aunt Ebbie thought out loud. “You must protect your bond with everything happening any small ripple can be disastrous.” Damien held me closer and tighter. “I’m so sorry my love, please forgive me. I love you so much.” He nuzzled my neck. “I think you two need to go and spend some time alone together.” Aunt Ebbie suggested. “I see a date night tonight.” He smiled at me. “Sounds good to me.” I hugged him a little tighter. “Thanks Ebbie, I should have made it a point to ask or come to you sooner.” He said helping me to my feet. “Yes, next time come see me sooner.” She raised her brow. “Reign, I will see you in a few days for your next checkup.” “Yes, ma’am.”

When Damien and I made our way out of the clinic, there was a different female at the reception desk. “Have a good evening your majesties.” She waved at us. Damien nodded in acknowledgment. “What happened to the other girl?” He asked. “Auntie gave her a week off.” I grinned. “What aren’t you telling me?” He looked at me. “Hey girls.” He greeted Grace and Aleya waiting for us. “Oh, nothing, we just had to put the little wench in her place. She was being disrespectful to our Queen.” Aleya said with a smirk. “She what?” Damien gritted. “Not to worry, Aunt Ebbie took care of it.” I assured him. “Grace, Aleya, thank you for having my babygirl’s back. Please, keep an eye on that female, let me know if she causes any problems.” He told them. “You got it bro.” Grace grinned. “So, is everything okay with you two?” Damien looked down at me. “What? She’s my sister and my cousin, they were worried.” I scrunched my nose at him. He looked at them, “Thank you.” He grinned at them. “Anytime,” Aleya said. “Hurt her again...and I will cut your testicles off.” Grace warned poking his chest. Damien looked at Grace rubbing the spot that she poked. “I would never, we just had a lack of communication.” He looked down at me. “Which we will work on.” He said kissing my forehead. “That better be all because me, dad, and our brother’s will...well you get my meaning.” Grace narrowed her eyes. “It’s okay Grace.” I reached out and touched her arm. “We both have to work on this. I should have spoken up sooner.” I explained. “I’m gonna blame the baby hormones.” I laughed. “You and Aleya go ahead and go have your own date night with your mates.” I winked. “You can also take tomorrow off; I intend on spending the whole day with beautiful wife.” Damien told them. “It’s been a long week and I think all of us need a break.” Damien told them as we walked into the pack house.

“Where have you been!” Jen sighed in relief as I walked into the lounge area. “I’m fine...” I told her as she held me at arm’s length looking me over from head to toe. “That’s not what I asked.” She huffed. “You had us worried, this is not the time to go wondering off.” “I’m sorry.” I whispered, she pulled me into a tight hug. “Everybody has been stressed out, we all need a few days to relax.” Damien started. “Tonight, we all do our own thing and tomorrow we will have a BBQ, I’ve already advised the kitchen staff, patrols will stay as they are, but the shift change will happen earlier so everyone can enjoy time with their loved ones.” A look of relief showed on their faces. “So, with that, go and enjoy the evening, Reign and I will be spending our date night at our house. Before you call it a night, Moses, Shadow please do a perimeter check and place some warriors for security.” Damien asked them. They both nodded and darted out the door. “We will be back in the morning for breakfast. Everyone enjoy your evening.” He said guiding me back out the door. We silently walked to our house, we would be greeted by pack members and even some of the young pups. Hi your majesties. The little ones greeted running to us. “Well, hello there little ooonnnneeeesssss.” Damien yelled as they wolf piled on him. Damien laughed at them, and even a few of them found his tickle spot. “Hey, hey, no tickling.” He laughed. I loved listening to him laugh.

“Excuse me your majesty.” I turned and was looking at a young female, not too much older than me but then again, the way wolf’s age, she could be my age, younger or way older than me. “Oh, hello.” I greeted. “How are you?” I asked. “I’m good and you?” “I’m doing perfect.” I smiled. “Do you have a little one in that wolf pile?” She chuckled. “Yes, the little red headed male.” She pointed. “Awe, he so cute.” I cooed. “Thank you.” She smiled softly. I actually wanted to thank you and his majesty. “For what?” I asked a little confused. “Callum is my nephew, his mom, my sister-in-law was killed a few months ago, my brother went feral several weeks later.” She whipped a tear. “I took custody of him, and he was having a very hard time adjusting. When you and his majesty started playing with the little ones and got him to join in, it has done wonders for him.” She was trying hard not to cry. “I’m so happy that he’s come outta his shell. I know it’s hard to lose a parent, but it seems like he has a very loving auntie.” I encouraged. “Thank you so much.” She looked like she wanted to hug me but was unsure. I opened my arms for her to embrace me, she moved closer and hugged me. As I moved to pull away from her, I felt a prick on the side of my neck. “I’m so sorry my Queen.” She whispered and walked me away from the area where everyone was playing. “Why are you doing this?” I whispered weakly. “He’s going to kill my mate and my pup if I don’t take you to him.” She sobbed. “You have to take me back; we can help you.” I told her. “No one can help me, it’s too late. It’s never too late.” “It is for you.” A familiar voice said. “What? Why are you doing this?” I asked before the darkness took over.

Damien

We decided to stop and play with the pups when they yelled wolf pile on the Alpha. I was never one for making time to play with the little ones but that is where my Queen came in and softened me up. These little ones crawled all over me, every time I tried to stand, they would all pile on me again. I could see Reign talking with another female. I didn’t recognize her, but we’ve welcomed a lot of new members over the last few weeks. My attention was turned away from her, I should really wrap up this playtime and get back to her. “Okay, playtime is over...” I started and was met with a lot of awes “...for now, I will come back sometime tomorrow, and we can play some more. Right now, I need to get back to our Queen and get her home so she can get some rest.” I explained. “Besides, we are having a pack BBQ tomorrow, so you will have more people to play with.” They all cheered. “We will see you tomorrow.” I waved goodbye and walked to the last place I’d seen her. As I got closer to the spot where I saw her last, her scent had faded a little. “Babygirl.” I called out. “Where are you? Are you trying to hide from me?” I chuckled. “You know I can find you by your scent.” “Mate not here.” Ayres observed growling. “I can’t feel them.” He said raising our nose in the air. I opened our family link. “Is Reign with any of you?” “Uh, no.” Jaz said a little breathless. “Then we have a problem, she’s missing. I can’t find her. We stopped to play with the little ones, she was talking with a female that I didn’t recognize.” “What!” They all yelled in unison. “Moses get the trackers. I’m on the path to our house in the forest. Moses, Spyder and Spencer get the warriors together, get them to check all the borders.” I ordered. “There was a female, a new one, she was talking to while I was playing with the little ones. Check the file of all the new arrivals, see if we can narrow it down. Ayres will send you an image of the she-wolf, she’s the one who has our Queen. I think...no...I know she’s working with Luther. Find her, find him and we will find our Queen.” I growled. “Your majesty” I looked up and saw Deklyn and Jaxsyn. “Our warriors and hunters are at your disposal.” Jaxsyn pledged. “I’ve already dispatched them with your trackers.” Deklyn advised. “We will get her back and Luther will die.” He growled, no matter what their past was, she’s his daughter and will kill to protect her. “Damien!” Shadow called out. “Trackers picked up Luna’s scent with another...” “That should be the female I saw her with.” “It led to the western border and at least ten different scents were picked up. I have them on the trail.” Jyden said. “That’s where I was found.” Martin commented. “Koltyn take warriors...” I started. “Already on it.” He said sprinting away.

“Damien?” I heard female voices call out to me. “What are you doing out here?” I pinched the bridge of my nose. “We can’t just sit around and do nothing! Our Queen, our friend, our sister is out there.” Jenny growled and took a deep breath. “There’s nothing you can do...” I started. “But...” I yelled. “No! You are all pregnant! Do you really think that Reign would be able to forgive herself if anything happens to any of you and your pups? She’s stressed enough as it is, she’s doesn’t need this added.” I said rubbing my face and head. “Damien!” Jazlyn started. “Get your females under control NOW!” I growled to Shadow and Jyden. “Jyden take our sister as well!” Jazlyn sent me a death glare. “How could you?” She whispered as Jyden took her and Ryott into his arms. They both buried their heads into his chest and sobbed. Ryott, she’s human but she’s been training and working out with the females, she gave me a sad look. Then there’s Jenny, if looks could kill, I would be D-E-A-D, Dead where I stand. I know they want to help but I can’t take the chance on any of them getting hurt. “Babe, c’mon,” Shadow said leading Jenny away. “Shadow.” She sobbed. “She’s my best friend since we were in diapers. We were attached at the hip; I can’t lose her. I can’t do this mom thing without her.” She quietly cried. My heart hurt not only because Reign was taken from me but because my family was missing her also, their hearts were missing an important piece of their life. “Must find little mate.” Ayres whimpered. “I know buddy, we will.” I rubbed my face. “Don’t worry about the girls.” Moses said. “You know they are all thick as thieves. They are just scared plus they can’t help, especially Jen. They didn’t mean anything by all that.” He patted my shoulder. My dad, Reign’s dads, grampa’s, sister, cousin, brother’s and uncle’s and my family all stood by me. “Your majesty,” Gramps put his arm around my shoulders, “we will find her.” My jaw and fists were clenched so tight I could feel my knuckles go numb. I thought I might crack a tooth with as tight as my jaw was clenched. “Son, you and Ayres need to stay calm, you won’t do your mate any good if you don’t stay calm and focused.” Dad said trying to sooth me and Ayres. “We know they’re using the western border, so that tells us where to start.” Koltyn informed. “I want every inch of our territory searched, every inch outside our territory searched, put the word out that their Queen has been abducted and who has taken her. Make sure every Alpha and Coven knows and that the airports know. I don’t want him leaving Europe.” “On it your majesty.” They all sprinted away to get my orders in motion.
“We should be looking!” Ayres demanded. “Little mate needs us!” “Yes, I know but we…” “NO!” Ayres growled, I fought with him for control, then things went black.

Reign

I woke up with my head killing me. “What happened?” I mumbled to myself rubbing my head. “Your majesty, you’re finally awake.” A familiar female voice said. “Who are you? Why did you do this?” I asked my throat was dry. She handed me a glass of water. I was reluctant to take it from her. “Please drink, I’m not going to hurt you. My name is Avery.” She said. “Yeah, right, that’s why you took me from my mate.” I spat. She handed me a bottle of water this time. I decided to take it from her, I needed something to drink. “I’m so sorry, I didn’t want to do this, but I had to. He said he would kill my mate and my pup.” She sobbed. “He promised he wouldn’t hurt you.” “And you believed him?” I snorted. “You have no idea the things he has done to me! The hell he’s put me through!” I said trying not to raise my voice. “He tried to abduct me, TWICE! And because of you, he's succeeded on his third try but this time it's not just me but also my unborn pups! He’s beat me more than a few times. Pups that he has no intention of keeping alive.” I continued. “He even rejected his second chance mate that the Moon Goddess blessed him with, he threw her away. He’s nothing but a monster.” I whispered the last phrase. “I know he is, he’s...my half-brother.” With that she walked away, she stopped at the door. “I’m sorry. We can help you.” I said. “All you have to do is ask.” I smiled. “If he’s your brother, that makes Steven your father?” I asked. “Steven, yes, he’s my father, I haven’t seen him in six years since he banished me because I chose to stay with my mate.” She looked so sad. “He said that he was not worthy of me, a King’s daughter. My mate was just a simple warrior with no rank and not of pure blood.” She explained. “Luther helped us find a place and said that he would always be there for us, but he actually had other plans.” “I think if you gave it a chance, I think he would love to see you again.” “Yeah, how would you know?” “Well, turns out he’s...my father. So, that would make us sisters.” I smiled at her. “All you have to do is ask for help and I will give it to you, my mate will give it to you, dad will help you. You just have to ask.” I told her trying to assure her. “Trying to turn my little sister against me?” Luther mocked. “Go tend to your family sister.” He kissed her temple and let her leave. “Why can’t you just leave me alone?” I sighed. “Because you belong to me.” He grunted. “No...I don’t. My heart and my life belong to Damien. Please, let me go, I...we...” I said rubbing my baby belly. “...need Damien. Only he can calm them, they know their daddy’s touch.” “Well, it doesn’t matter because they will never meet or know who their true daddy is, so they better get used to my touch.” He said approaching me and put his hand on my belly. They didn’t like that, they started kicking and kicking. “Don’t you touch them! They will know their true father’s touch!” “No, they won’t.” “What do you mean?” He tapped his chin, “I was going to rid us of them, but I was advised against that. You see since I have claimed you as my chosen mate, we may not be able to conceive children of our own and well, I must have an heir.” He grinned. “You are crazy! I will never accept you!” I raised my voice at him. “They know their father’s touch; they know his voice. They already know something’s wrong; they know he’s not here and they know that they...we don’t belong here.” I pleaded with him. “Please just let us go home.” I begged. “You and OUR children will be leaving the country in a couple of days. I have to arrange your passport. I also have a doctor coming to check on you before we leave.” He ran his fingers along my arm making my stomach churn, wanting to throw up. “You won’t get away with this plan.” I told him. “Damien will find us; Ayres will not let you live when he gets his claws on you.” I gritted. “I’d like to see him try but he will never see or find you again.” He smirked. “You better pray you’re right, remember you’ve not only abducted a Luna but the Queen of the European Wolf and Vampire Kingdom’s.” I chuckled darkly. I don’t know where that came from, but I knew that Damien was looking for me, I knew he would find me. “He can try to find you, but he and his band of furry fools will never realize that I’ve been under their muzzle this whole time.”
