Chapter 19: The first werewolf

I had been on the moon for a month, before my father and mother came and visited me. My father gifted me with a watching pool of my own. Something I could use to look down on earth, and watch over Wolfe while he lived his life. My mother had a different gift to give me that she hadn’t known about until she arrived.

When my mother first saw me, she broke down crying. When she finally stopped she looked at me smiling, “My dearest Luna, did you know that you are pregnant.”

I felt vile rise to my throat. “Pregnant?” I asked making sure I heard her correctly.

“Yes", my mother whispered, touching her hand to my stomach. “Oh my stars,” she said shaking her head. “You’re pregnant, my dear child, but not with Jupiter’s baby. This baby is part human too.”

I felt joy creeping into my heart, understanding of what my mother said dawning on me. I was pregnant with Wolfes child. Then I felt fear start to emerge. If Jupiter found out he’d kill my child.

"Please father,” I turned to my dad begging him. “You have to help me hide my child.”

My father brushed his fingertips against my face, a saddened look in his eyes. “I couldn’t protect you from Jupiter, Luna. So in return I will protect your child. I will shelter your child from Jupiter. I will provide her with strength to protect herself from him. She will born a part goddess and part human. I will take her human side and I will gift her with the power of a wolf in respect for your love towards the human Wolfe. Once your daughter is born. I’ll hide her on Earth, in hopes that Jupiter doesn’t discover her.” My father said, his hand dropping from my face and gently rubbing my stomach. “Your child will be born under the next full moon. Drop her in the watching pool and she will travel safely down to Earth.” My father looked at my mother and sighed. “We must be going.”

Just as my father said, on the next full moon I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, I named her Sabrina. I kissed her forehead and a crescent moon showed where I had kissed her. “My dearest Sabrina,” I whispered as I held her, “mommy loves you.” I pushed Sabrina into the watching pool, and cried as I watched her leave this moon. I felt like a piece of me was missing.

Over the years Jupiter became angrier and angrier that I couldn’t bare him any children. One year he broke our agreement and came to visit me on the moon, He saw me watching over Sabrina, he saw the mark on head and he instantly knew, that Wolfe and I had had a child. Spitting with rage, Jupiter unleased his fury on me. He called me a filthy whore and he beat me to a bloody pulp. I couldnt get up, I could barely breath.

"I will kill your bastard child. And when I get back you will leave the moon and you will give me the heir that I rightfully deserve. Even if I have to fuck you every day," Jupiter screamed at me full of rage.

He then left, leaving me to care for my injuries. I dragged my weak and disheaveld body to the watching pool,and I watched, unable to do anything as Jupiter went down to earth and murdered my sweet child. I screamed at the stars, asking them, why they cursed my life, asking what I did to deserve this treatment. I passed out from agony and the wounds that Jupiter had inflicted on me. When I awoke I felt different. I felt stronger. Glacing down at my hand i noticed that I no longered bared the mark of being mated to Jupiter. Due to Juliter going back on our deal, my ties from him had been severed. I started to feel like I wasnt alone. Looking around I noticed a small child crying in the corner, she had a gash along her neck, just like the one Jupiter had left on my dearest Sabrina.

"Child what is your name? I ask her.

"I am surprised you dont recognize me mother. I am your daughter Sabrina."

I came to realize that my father's magic was strong. Although Sabrina had been murdered her spirit still lived on and she had come back to where she belonged. My fathers magic also turned Wolfe’s children and all of their children thereafter into werewolves. After Jupiter killed Sabrina and the stars broke our union, Jupiter became very weak and frail. He hid himself for a long time and everyone was peaceful.

When Sabrina turned 18, the werewolves started to disappear. At first I didnt thnk anything of it thinking it was a condition of my fathers magic wearing off due to Sabrina being an adult. Sabrinas powers continued to grow throughout the years, and werewolf pups continued to be born, but the wolves continued to die at an alarming speed. Realizing that if pups were still being born, my fathers magic was cotinuing I decided to investigate the deaths of the wolves. I could sense magic in the air at all the death sites and a familiar scent. I knew instantly it was Jupiter. He was seeking his revenge against my children, my wolves. I sent Sabrina’s sprit back down to earth, to be reborn into Wolf form. Sabrina was the only one strong enough to stop Jupiter.

The memory faded and memories of mine that had been blocked emerged. I could remember all of the meetings I had with the moon goddess previously and how important it was to her that Damien and I mate, and that Sabrina come into her full power. I opened my eyes and shouted out,

“Jupiter is coming!”

"Jupiter is already here." Derek responded. "Alpha Caleb is dead. The rouges won the battle. Theyre on their way here now, to capture the White Wolf."
