Chapter 21: Inside the Letter

***Damien***

"Guinevere... Guinevere.” I said shaking my mate’s leg. We’ve arrived. We’re pack at our pack house.

“Damien,” Guinevere answered sleepily,”What happened? One minute we were talking to Derek, and the next minute were here.”

“Gwynn, Derek had to drug you. He said there was no way he would’ve been able to convince you to leave, and that Jupiter would’ve killed you and Sabrina.”


“Oh my god, Damien no. We left them unprotected. Are they okay, were they able to make it out in time?” Guinevere says, panic evident in her voice.

“My scouts informed me that the entirety of the Silent Forest pack has fallen. But they were able to greatly injure Jupiter and his warriors. They will have to regroup and gather their strength before trying to attack us. We will be prepared Gwynn. We will be able to protect our pack. Dereks loss won’t be for nothing.”

Gwynn wrapped her arms around me and I leaned down and placed a gentle kiss on her lips. “I love you Guinevere.”

Silent tears fell down Guinevere’s face. “I love you too Damien.”

“Well Luna Guinevere, are you ready to face the pack?”

“I guess.” Guinevere said a little timidly.

“Don’t worry love.” I kissed the top of her head. “The pack can wait until morning.”

I scooped Guinevere up in my arms and she let out a squeal. I carried her up to the pack-house and into my living quarters. I kicked open the door and started to walk in when Guinevere let out a low growl.

“Damien!” Stephanie shouted with delight rushing towards me. Stopping as soon as she spots Guinevere in my arms.

“What the fuck Damien! What the fuck are you doing with that slut.”

I feel Leo start to stir. Guinevere flings herself out of my arms.

“I think the real question is what are you doing in my mates bedroom?” Gwynn snarled.

“Ha,” Stephanie laughed, “Are you fucking stupid? The low life daughter of a traitor can’t be the mate to an Alpha?”

“Wow Stephanie, you really are dense. Can’t you smell it in the air, can’t you see the mark on Damien’s neck.” Guinevere yelled at Stephanie.

Stephanie’s claws came out as she lurched towards Guinevere. I went to grabber Stephanie to protect Gwynn, when I heard Gwynn shout. “No Damien, Don’t touch her. She’s mine!”

“Submit Stephanie!” Gwynn screeched in a voice that sounded nothing like her own. Her Alpha Aurora flowing all around her. “Submit to your Luna.”

Stephanie flew down to all fours and bared her neck. “Please Guinevere, please stop. You’re hurting me.”

Guinevere spoke again her voices still sounding unlike her own, “Come near my mate again, Stephanie, and I will kill you. Now leave.”

Stephanie quickly crawled from the room. I turned quickly and shut the door behind her.

“Gwynn, She’s gone. Please calm down.” I could feel myself struggling under her Aurora.

Guinevere turned to face me and smiled. “I am not Guinevere. I am Sabrina. If I see your whore again, if she dares try to hurt Guinevere, I will kill her. I will kill anyone who tries to harm my human.”

“Sabrina, please give Guinevere back control. Let me see my mate.” I begged her, I could feel myself being crushed under her Alpha Aurora.

Sabrina looked at me, and smiled, walking over to me, and gently kissing me on my lips before pulling away.

***Guinevre***

Damien was carrying me through the pack house up to his room and my heart felt so full, for once in my life, I felt like I belonged somewhere. Then Damien opened his door and I was hit with a familiar disgusting smell.

I felt Sabrina let out a low growl,and then I was thrown into a black oblivion. I couldn’t see nor hear anything. When I awoke next I felt Damien’s lips on mine.

‘Sabrina what happened?’ I questioned my wolf.

‘I’m sorry Guinevere, that skank Stephanie was here, and I had to deal with her.’

‘Why can’t I remember anything Sabrina?’

‘I had to take control. I had to put Stephanie in her place. I used my Alpha Aura on her. I think we might have hurt mate.’

I drop my link with Sabrina and pull slightly away from Damien. “Damien are you okay? Sabrina said she might have hurt you’”

“I’m fine baby,” Damien says stroking my hair, “I’m just glad you’re back. But remind me never to piss off your wolf. Sabrina has some serious power.”

‘Well what does he expect?’ Sabrina said rolling her eyes. ‘I am one of the original werewolves. I am the wolf of wolves.”

I chuckle quietly.

“What are you laughing about?” Damien asks scowling at me.

“Oh just Sabrina. She really likes to talk herself up. She says she’s the wolf of wolves.”

“Well that explains why, even as an Alpha I can’t resist her.” Damien said reaching into his back pocket. But enough chatter about Sabrina. I feel like this will be the only free chance I get to read this letter.” Damien walks to his bed and sits down, patting at the spot beside him.

“What letter?” I ask walking over to his bed and sitting down beside him, putting my hand on his thigh, enjoying the sparks that come with the mate bond.



“Elder Derek gave me a letter right before we left the Silent Forest pack. He said it held crucial Pack information.” Damien opens the letter up and begins to read aloud.

Dear (can no longer read name)

Today, we saw the witch. She said there is a way we can destroy Alpha Sam. We can make him lose faith in the Moon Goddess. We can make him lose his best friend. When Alpha Sam is at his lowest point then we can strike. We can slay the Alpha and take over the Full Moon pack. We can take back what is rightfully ours.

The witch requires these ingredients, she says they can be found in the Ivory City.

1 eye of a spider
A pinch of dried vampires blood
A strand of a Virgin’s hair
Saliva from a baby.

She needs two of each ingredient. Then she will make a potion for the Alpha and one for his best friend. The Alpha will assume that whoever is Gregory’s mate is also his mate. Gregory will try to reject his mate for his Alpha, but his mate will not feel the mate pull towards Alpha Sam. Nothing destroys a person quiet like a broken heart. The mate bond will be too strong for Gregory to resist. He will mate and mark his mate. Alpha Sam will feel broken. Like his mate was taken from him. He will destroy his best friend and kill his supposed mate. He will feel weak from anguish and that is when we can destroy him.


Send word as soon as you find these ingredients. The potion needs to be made before the coming full moon.
