Chapter 27

Sandra's POV

The black car pulled in front of the campus gate. I can see the crowd. Looking at the familiar place I sighed. There was a day when I was being thrown in the car to be kidnapped and today I was being dropped here by the same car. But unlike the other day, I feel more confident and positive. I can't back away from it, I have to face it. If not today then maybe tomorrow but I have to. I turned to the man sitting beside me.

"Thank you for dropping me" I smiled at him.

"When will your class end? I will pick you up"

"You are going to pick me up?" I frowned. I was not expecting it does he think I will run away?

"Why? Is it that hard to believe?" He raised an eyebrow at me, "since I dropped you, I will be the one picking you up too. You think you will return to the pack house all by yourself?"

I rolled my eyes. Yes, I don't know the way to return back. It was really useless to argue with. I will rather agree to whatever he says and attend my classes. "Okay, maybe around 4" I replied.

He nodded "well then I will come to get you"

I nodded "thanks for that. I am going down". I was about to turn but he caught my wrist making me stop. He pulled it towards his lips and kissed it. An action which always managed to flutter my heart.

"Have a good day" he wished. God, does he have to be so romantic? With his every action he makes me want to throw myself on him blindly. Since when have I become like this? I really don't know the answer.

I blushed, and felt my cheeks getting hot suddenly. God, if he continues to use this kind of treatment I will go crazy. Even if I wanted someone to be so romantic but I never expected him him cross all the limits. Whenever I try to pick on this man, he would always show a new side making me speechless. What am I going to do with this man?

I could only smile at his gesture "thanks" then I got out of the car. He threw his sexy smirk before I watched him driving away. I turned around and I entered the gate. Several heads turned to look at me and I exactly know why? Many of them saw that incident and even if I scream, it would not change the fact. Not caring about the annoying gazes I moved towards the classroom. I have missed many classes and I need to catch up on everything.

Just as I stepped in I was pulled by someone harshly. I turned to see Cat looking at me with wide eyes. She seemed like she couldn't really believe it was me.

"God, don't pull me like that again" I scolded. "You almost broke my arm". In truth it almost scared the hell out of me. This woman is unruly and I have to give her huge credits for that.

"Oh my god, Sandra it's you, really?" she shook her head "you finally came" she yelled almost screaming.

"You thought I won't return?" I frowned.

"What the hell? That day, you were being kidnapped in broad daylight and everyone saw this. Did you know you have become a hot topic on campus? There's no one who wouldn't talk about you" she held her head "that man looked so dangerous and those eyes OMG so ferocious. I thought he would eat you alive" her face was coated in total surprise. I guess it will be hard for her to digest.

"Don't worry I am fine as you can see me, I am here all in one piece" I smiled.

"Thanks to God that you are safe and sound. I got scared so much. I thought I won't be able to see you again" she shook her head. Her eyes were moistened.

"I am so sorry Cat, I should have called you" I hugged her. I felt bad for her. But I didn't have any choice either. I couldn't tell her anything even if I wanted to.

"Did that man hurt you?" She asked once we pulled apart. I am glad that the class is currently empty so there won't be any spectators to watch us. Or it would become another big topic.

"No, I am fine" I gave an assuring smile. He didn't hurt me but he knows how to torture my body with his wicked act. If I could just say it to you. Sigh!

"Thank God. I thought to report it to cops but it would implicate the whole campus along with your reputation so later the idea was dropped. I have been praying for your safe return. You have no idea how many sleepless nights I spent just thinking about you" Cat said which almost brought tears to my eyes. This girl is emotional and I made her so worried. It's all because of that man. I really need to give him a good scolding when he comes to pick me up.

I hugged her again "I made you so worried, I am sorry for that"

"I was just worried but I am glad you are here now. Safe and sound" she mumbled.

"Yes, don't worry I am fine and there's no harm" I added.

"Who's that man?" Cat frowned, "I have never seen him before"

The biggest question of the year has finally come. How am I going to reply to this now? It's more difficult than facing the situation in the exam hall while reading the question paper and you find you forgot to study the answer. If I say about the werewolf things, I can clearly see Selena would faint right at the moment. And making her understand will be more difficult. So I had to give her some kind of story to assure her heart.

"Umm...that's....he-" I couldn't say anything when a pitch voice mocked me from behind.

"Oh look who's here?"

I closed my eyes in irritation. I don't want to meet anyone at this moment but it looks like my planning won't go easily. I have to face another game.

Not again.

Why do I have to face such people again and again. Can't I just stay away from them? Far away where their silhouette won't appear? I turned around to see Shaelyn with her bitchy friends. Shaelyn had that kind of smile which could make anyone's hand itch to slap the face till it hurts. I wanted peace, a free time but she had to come to ruin it.

"See, I told you. It's our dear Sandra of course" she glanced to her friends "tell me is my eyes playing with me? Or she is finally here" she giggled. What a drama! She performs better than those villains in the tv series.

"What do you want, Shaelyn?" I crossed my arms on my chest trying my best to calm my mind. Just looking at her face makes me want to slap her.

"Come on Sandra, you can't be that arrogant now. Just because you are on the top list of the campus news web, you can't forget your old friends. After All you have become quite famous online" Shaelyn smirked, "never thought a nerdy like you could suppress me on the hot news. The whole campus is now talking about you"

His kidnapping action has caused a lot of trouble for me. Campus news means the gossip site. They really had to put me in there? Just great.

"Are you done?" I asked with a boring tone. "If you are finished throwing your mockings then I want some peace" I said curtly.

"What's with your attitude Sandra?" Shaelyn didn't seem like she was leaving anytime soon. She flipped her hair over her shoulder and placed her hands on her waist. "I thought once you return, you will share your side of the story. We were all curious about the mystery man who took you that day. He was kind of hot"

I raised an eyebrow "why? Are you tired of Liam now?" This girl really suits that cheater. They are the same kind of people. It was a great saying that birds of a feather flock together. I am seeing the best example of it.

"Come on Sandra, don't be so greedy. It won't hurt you to tell us about that guy. He took you out of the campus in that expensive black car. How did you find him? Such a rich man like him huh?" Shaelyn's eyes glittered with excitement. She seemed like she was about to faint out of curiosity. Looking at her I really pity Liam now.

"Go dream big and die in your curiosity. Just leave me alone" I rolled my eyes.

"You have got a bitchy mouth" Shaelyn smiled "why do you want to hide it from us? We all study in the same campus yet you want to hide? This is so unfair Sandra. We are all friends at the end. And don't worry your secrets are safe with us"

I sighed. She has made up her mind to inquire about Andriel. She is not gonna leave, is she? What a pain in the ass!
