Sandra's POV

"Mom," I gasped. "Is it true? You are also a Luna?"

Mom gave an apologetic smile "my dear, it is a long story. I will give you a good explanation later" she held my hand.

"Since all of these have been cleared, Luna, why are you hiding yourself like this?" Alpha Julius asked.

I heard mom sighed "I guess Alpha knows that our pack was destroyed?"

I looked at mom, our pack was destroyed? All this new information is knocking my head so hard. I really don't know how to digest all these in one day.

Alpha Julius nodded his head "I am aware of that. It's said that the destruction was caused because of the impurity of the heart. Alpha Winston wanted to spread his territory but the clan elders didn't support it. So in result there was a war which led the pack into destruction"

"How much true Alpha thinks the story is?" Mom asked.

Alpha Julius shook his head "I couldn't judge it. The judgment would be given only after knowing the main reason. I guess Luna has more than a story to tell?"

"I have always heard Alpha Julius's name during pack meetings. Now meeting you personally is something like a great experience. You really lived the name Alpha" mom smiled.

"Thank you" Alpha Julius smiled. This is the first time I am seeing him smiling like this.

"What Alpha heard was not true. The rumors were spread by those clan leaders who went against my husband. They wanted to pressure their own opinion and when my husband refused they tried every possible way to bring the destruction in the pack" mom sighed again. Like she was trying to remember all those past incidents again. I sat there silently listening to their conversation.

"We were all good in the pack, living a harmonious life that we dreamt for each other. But the only thing that we didn't have was our child" mom looked at me and smiled "your father and I prayed for years before the moon goddess finally blessed us with you. The day you were born was the best day we ever had in our life. My dear, you don't know how happy we are when we hold you in our arms. You are the gem of our life" tears dropped from her eyes. She wiped it gently before continuing again.

"Your father was so happy, I still can remember his smiling face, he just couldn't stop it. He adored you so much. When you became 3 months old, we got the news of a sudden attack plan. It was brought by our secret informer. They wanted our protected seal" she turned to Alpha Julius again. "I guess Alpha Julius heard about the legend of Blue Amber?"

Alpha Julius nodded his head in reply "I have heard about it, but how is it related to Red Ice Pack?" Confusion flashed in his eyes.

"This gem is under our protection, our traditional treasure. And this gem is not only rare but also known for its special ability. It was handed to us by the older generations. The chance of the fight was high and the winning was less since our own people were against us. My husband was in delusion. After pondering over the matter he took the decision to send us away. Sandra was too small, so we couldn't risk her life. So with a heavy heart, I had to run away, to protect my daughter's life. It's a good thing Sandra's birth was a secret and outsiders don't know about it. That's why it was easier to hide her. I know I haven't fulfilled the responsibility of Luna because at that time all I could think about was my daughter. And my husband was too anxious to save us. We made the decision together and we also suffered a lot. After few days the incident I got the news of the pack destruction"

Luna Maeve got up from her seat and moved towards mom. She held her hand and said "it must be hard on you. I know being separated from a mate is hard and painful. But as a mother, it's hard to ignore the safety of our child too. I can understand what you felt that time. You didn't make a wrong decision. If Sandra stayed there then may be her life would be danger"

"What about Alpha Winston? Is he alive?" Andriel asked.

"Yes," mom replied. My eyes widened. Is Dad alive? But why did he never come to meet me? I always thought my father was dead. All these years he was alive but... I guess it's for my protection but he could just have...

"I know what you are thinking Sandra" Mom's voice interrupted my thoughts. "Don't blame your dad, he loves you so much. I know you are always curious about him and his identity but he didn't have any other choice. If he doesn't hide himself well then those enemies would have known about you and he doesn't want to put you in any kind of danger. You also have to understand his feelings too darling" she tried to explain.

"Don't worry mom, I know," I replied. The present situation is even more serious than I thought. I was not expecting to fall into such a circumstance. But I am glad with the new information I got to know. My father is not dead, he is alive. Even if this information is surprising as hell, I couldn't help but feel excited.

"I always know you are a smart child" mom smiled at me. "Black Amber is our family heirloom. And because of its special ability others wanted to grab it from us. I was so scared when I heard the news of the destruction of the pack, and almost thought I had lost my Alpha. But after a year of the incident, Winston came to find us. I am glad he was fine, but he had to hide in the dark so that our enemies couldn't detect him. They are still looking for the traces of Black Amber, and would do anything to get it"

"Since this is the case, you don't have to worry about Sandra's safety. She is now under our protection. There's no way anyone could come and invade our territory. We can assure you" Alpha Julius said with a nod.

"I am glad for that. I wanted my daughter to find someone who can protect her well. And I guess Moon Goddess has chosen the best for her" mom smiled.

"Is Sandra's wolf sealed?" Andriel suddenly asked. Seal? My wolf? I have a wolf too? I don't know how but I felt my excited hormones suddenly flowed in my body.

"It was because she needed to lead an ordinary life. Her smell will attract others and she could be in danger. So her father put the Blue Lotus Seal on her to keep her wolf sleep inside without any action"

"Mom, what are you saying is true? I-am a werewolf too?" I couldn't hide my shock this time. I am a werewolf too? Oh my god.

Mom chuckled "yes my dear. You may not believe it. But you are"

"I...." I shook my head. "I don't know what to say. All of these are so.. confusing "

"Sandra needed to get her wolf. She needed to be free now. She has already passed her average time to shift" Luna Maeve said "I know what you are feeling but keeping her wolf stranger to her is also not good. She need to learn how to self defense her"

"Ah, I know the reason now" Alessia, who hadn't said a word before suddenly voiced, making us look at her. She grinned "even if Sandra's wolf was sealed but she still knows how to fight. I mean when she defeated Kayleigh in the battle, it was so shocking. I almost guessed it's out of luck or may be some kind of miracle, but now I understand it's because Sandra has her wolf which helped her to win against Kayleigh”'

Mom turned to look at me "you engaged in a fight?"

"It was not me, Kayleigh started it first, challenging me out of nowhere" I said to her.

"Whatever it is, now everything is cleared up. But Luna, What my wife said is also true. Sandra couldn't hide herself any more. She needs to have her own sense of defense to fight for herself too. We can't predict the future but we can always prepare for it" Alpha Julius suggested.

"I guess it's time then" mom nodded.

"Mom," I whispered.

She turned to me and smiled "I will tell your father about it. He will be happy to hear the news. My dear you have got the best place as your home. Moon goddess has chosen the best for you. And I am so happy for that"

I smiled. I don't know how to express my feelings but there's so many things that happened and so many things I never knew before. I am still surprised that I am also a werewolf, so this is the biggest truth of my life. Mom hid it well all these years but it looked like destiny had another plan for all of us.
