Chapter 65

Sandra's POV


"Ay you look beautiful" Alessia smiled as sat beside me.

"Beautiful?" I raised an eyebrow before looking down at myself. The big belly covered the view of my feet and I rolled my eyes again. "Yeah, I couldn't even see my own legs"

She laughed out "hey, you can't say that" she placed her hand on my belly, "this little guy in here will hear you. Won't he be displeased once he comes out?"

"Wow, this new information. I never knew it before" I mocked and she laughed again.

"My brother is really excited. I can see it in his face. God, that man has become crazy. He is even giving the trainers free time. This has never happened before"

"Free times?" I frowned. "He was always a hard trainer, how come he is so gentle now?"

"That's the point, my love" she grinned, "you know since he got to know the fact he is going to be dad, my brother has become crazy. To the point everyone is shocked to death. Even mom was so surprised. And also.." she roamed her eyes around the room "hmmm....you have a great collection of flowers"

"Don't mock. It's not my idea. I had a problem with the smell so Andriel brought all these flowers to give a sweet scent. I didn't know how come he thought of such idea"

"Wow, since when did my brother become a florist?" Alessia grinned, "but I must say he did choose the best ones"

I tore the chips packet and shoved few pieces in my mouth, "he is having kinds of hobbies I couldn't fathom"

"I can't wait for the little one to come out. Oh god, mom even planned for the whole thing, what she is going to do or not, everything"

I smiled. I looked at my swelling belly, since I got pregnant everyone in the pack was busy. I am already at my date, and the pack doctor said the delivery could be at any time. Though I am excited, I couldn't help but feel nervous. Everything is so fast and adventurous. I still think it's just a few days ago I started my university courses and now I am pregnant with my first child.

"Sandra?" Alessia waved her hand in front of me. "Are you here?"

I shook my head "what were you saying?"

"You were spacing out and hell I was calling you for god's sake" she rolled her eyes.

"Sorry, I was too engaged thinking about something" I gave her an apologetic smile.

"So I was asking which flavor you like the most? I was thinking of ordering a pasta and few more items"

"I want a spicy one," I smiled.

She frowned "are you sure? You weren't a fan of spicy thing"

"I have no idea why but I crave it. I feel like I can eat few spicy raw chillies altogether"

"You have become crazy" she shook her head as she picked up her phone and talked to someone.

I suddenly felt pain in my belly. But it was light and faded away instantly, making me frown. What's happening? Feeling uneasy, I picked up my phone and checked the time. It was 5 in the evening. Andriel was always back by 4 but today he is an hour late. Where is he? I don't know why but I felt like I was missing him. I want him near me.

"Alessia, have you seen him?" I asked.

Alessia hung up the call and looked at me, "I have seen him going out of the pack in the morning but I don't know if he has returned or not" she shrugged. "What happened? Are you fine?"

"It's nothing. He would always return by 4 so I was just checking. I don't know why but I am feeling uneasy" I frowned at my own words.

Alessia was immediately by my side, "Sandra, tell me if anything wrong okay"

I nodded. Just then mom walked in. She was holding a few bags in her hand.

"Ah you two are here already?" She smiled, "I went out shopping today, see what I brought." She walked and placed the bags on the bed and turned to me.

"Sandra, what color you will like for the new room. I need to finish the furnishing before my grandson comes into this world" she looked so excited. I was about to reply when I felt another sharp pain in my belly. My expression twisted and my breath became heavy.

"Sandra, what happened, are you alright?" Mom was already beside me.

"It's painful" I said and another hit of pain. I couldn't hold back and cried out holding my belly.

"Oh god, is it time?" Alessia gasped.

Mom was already supporting me. She looked tense as she frowned "go inform the pack doctors immediately. We can't waste any time" she said hurriedly.

"Okay" Alessia nodded and immediately rushed out of the room.

"Sandra take deep breaths okay, you have to endure the pain" mom rubbed my back trying to soothe my pain. I tried to do what she said yet when another pain hit me hard I cried out sobbing loudly.

"It's so painful. I can't hold back" I closed my eyes squeezing it hard.

"Let's go to bed first," she said and helped me up from the couch. As I stood up I felt something break and water ran down through my legs.

"Ah....it's time, your baby is coming" mom said and my eyes widened. So soon? Oh my god? He is coming? I can't believe it. What am I going to do? She helped me to bed and made me lay down. I bit my lips trying hard to endure the pain. Soon Alessia rushed in again followed by the group of doctors. All of them were females.

"Her water broke," mom informed.

"It's time, now she is going to give birth" one of the doctors checked me and said.

"Oh god, he is coming?" Alessia looked excited.

"Luna, you need to relax your body okay? It will be a normal delivery. There's nothing to worry" the doctor assured with a smile. I looked around to see the doctors.

"I...." I tried to say, "I need my husband...."

"Please inform the Alpha. It would be better if he could accompany Luna in this process" one of the doctors said immediately.

"But he is not here in the pack" mom replied.

"I will call him" Alessia rushed out again.

I laid on bed breathing heavily. Where are you Andriel? I need you the most.




Andriel's POV


"Thank you Alpha Andriel for coming here personally. If it wasn't for the crisis I would have visited myself" Alpha Kyro said with an apologetic smile.

"It's fine, I had to come anyway " I nodded and pushed the small box towards him. "This is your responsibility I am handing to you. I hope you don't have any problem with it"

Alpha Kyro took the box and opened it glancing at the green crystal. "Yes, this is indeed what I needed. Thank you for bringing it here Alpha Andriel. This is the family generation we have been guarding" he sighed, "it it wasn't because of the sudden attack, we wouldn't have lost it. But it was also fortunate that your people saw it and helped us regain our family heirloom"

I smiled, "I understand your worry Alpha Kyro. Don't worry the matter will be sealed between us" I assured him.

He nodded, "thank you for that. My father has guarded this and our generation will do as long as we exist. And also we will be grateful for you for helping us"

"It's fine"

"Since you are here, why don't you stay for dinner?"

I shook my head, "it's already late, and I need to return home soon. My mate is waiting for me" it's already over 5. I needed to hurry back. She must be waiting for me.

"Please, I insist" Alpha Kyro looked persistent, "it's not like we meet everytime. And I don't know when we will be able to meet too. What I want to say is let me show my gratitude for helping us. Just the simple dinner"

I was about to refuse when my phone rang suddenly. I looked at Alpha Kyro "excuse me, I need to take this call"

He nodded with a smile.

I thought it was from Sandra but I frowned when I saw Alessi's name flashing on the screen. As soon as I picked the call I heard her worried tone.

"Andriel where are you?"

I frowned "what happened?"

"God, don't ask question you need to return as fast as you can"

"Alessia, are you going to tell me or not?" I asked again.

"Okay, Your mate is in labor. And she is calling you. You need to return to the pack now"

"What?" I yelled.

"Don't shout. Just get here fast" she hung up. I stared at the phone.

"Is everything alright Alpha Andriel?" I heard Alpha Kyro asked.

"I am sorry to say but I need to return to the pack now Alpha Kyro. As for the dinner, maybe we could do it in future"

"I understand Alpha Andriel. Don't worry, the pack comes first. Please take your leave" he nodded.

"Thanks" I said and turned around walking out of the house. Fuck she is in labor and calling me. I felt my wolf was getting restless for his mate.
