Sandra's POV

"Finally hot spring again" Alessia yelled, spreading her arms laughing. I looked at the hot spring and my eyes lit up instantly. This is the first time I saw a hot spring because luck never was with me before. I really want to thank my mate for bringing me here. At least I could enjoy a hot spring for free.

But thinking about him, my mood dropped instantly. It has been 2 days since that fighting drama with Kayleigh. I must say everyone was shocked to the core. Fuck that, even I, myself was shocked to death. I trained myself in a few martial arts when I was young because mom wanted me to learn some self defense techniques so I could handle a few bastards. But it's not about ordinary people but a werewolf who's stamina and strength are not comparable to normal humans. I don't know what happened to me that time, how I defeated Kayleigh out of expectations, was still a mystery to me.

"Hey, where are you lost?" Alessia threw her arms over my shoulder "are you still thinking about the fight?"

I sighed "I am trying to get over it but it's still fresh in my mind"

"Well thinking about it, I am still shocked. I mean hell, Kayleigh is a great fighter, there's no doubt. But for you to beat her like that it's quite interesting" she laughed "I am really happy at the end. But how did you manage to do that?"

"I don't know either. I learned martial arts when I was young. But I don't think that was enough to fight with strong opponent like her "

"You learned martial arts?" Alessia frowned.

"Yeah, when I was 15 mom sent me to martial arts training classes. For her, I needed to learn self defense techniques " I shook my head.

"Well, I guess she was right. Every girl does need to know how to save themselves" Alessia nodded "but one thing is clear that the fight between you and Kayleigh had a great impact on everyone. Especially in Kayleigh. Have you ever thought about her reaction after getting defeated by you infront of everyone?" Alessia giggled showing her happy face "even if others don't say a word but there are still few who will taunt her in every chance they get"

I looked at her "is it that bad?"

"No, it's because she is too proud for herself"

I shook my head in reply,

"I heard she was sent back to her pack"

"Who?" I frowned.

"Kayleigh of course. And do you know who made this arrangement?" Alessia grinned "her own sister Lysithea. After such a hard blow, looks like Lysithea couldn't endure the embarrassment anymore"

I rolled my eyes. I turned my gaze to the beautiful hot spring area. According to Alessia, this place is scheduled and preserved. Only Luna Maeve has the right to come here as she pleases. But if anyone wants to look, they need her permission first. It's because Luna Maeve holds such authority in her hand and also because this place was her private favorite place built for her by the Alpha himself. I can see how much he loves her. The hot spring area was located behind the mansion. It was a 5 minute walk and surrounded by the rockery. The fog of steam could be seen from the clear water.

"So are you going in or you are just going to stare all day?" Alessia chuckled.

"Huh" I looked at her "of course, how can I miss such a good opportunity?"

"Come on let's change first '' we were about to head towards the changing room when Luna Maeve appeared behind us.

"Oh, you two are here already?"

"Mom" Alessia squealed "are you here to enjoy the hot spring too?"

Luna Maeve laughed "I thought it has been quite long since I last enjoyed a good spring bath, so why not go with you two?"

"Good, we can enjoy a good time together," Alessia nodded.

"I hope you won't mind me joining you Sandra" Luna smiled at me.

"Of course not," I shook my head. This spring area is hers, how can she think I will have any problem with it?

Soon we changed into bathrobe and went near the hot spring pool. The water was clean but the streams covered the view underwater. Looking at the water it felt like we were about to enter the foggy pool. I kept my underwear on because I don't like to be completely naked in front of others. Soon we entered the pool and I felt my body immediately relaxed.

"Aha after such a long time," Alessia sighed, closing her eyes.

"This is really good," I smiled. I always wanted to enjoy the hot spring and today it finally got fulfilled. I can't express my happiness. It's a new, different feeling.

After soaking in the hot spring for like half an hour, we decided to leave. I even dozed off in the water while Alessia laughed at me. I grabbed my robe which was placed on the rock. I wore it and was about to tie the knot when Luna gasped.

"Sandra" she called out in a rush. I looked up and saw her eyes were wide but it was not looking at me but something on my chest which was visible because my robe was loose.

"Luna?" I frowned.

"This" she walked to me and slid the robe a little gazing at my chest. "Sign....is it a tattoo?"

I looked down and saw the lotus flower sign on my chest. The tattoo pattern was located in the middle of my chest.

"Umm.... No, actually since I got to know things, I am seeing this all the time. My mother said it's a birthmark" I replied with doubt.

"This doesn't seem like a birthmark to me" Luna frowned. There was something going on in her mind but I can't read what she is thinking right now. Looking at her expression I could only say that she knows this mark on my chest. Mom always said it was a birthmark and I was born with it. But why Luna was looking at me with such a weird look I can't explain?

"Luna, is there anything wrong with it?" I asked her.

She looked at me and shook her head "it's nothing. Don't worry dear, there's nothing wrong. It's just this sign, I have seen somewhere so I thought it could be that and I was confused at first"

Her reply seems natural but I don't know why I can't buy it. I feel like there's something more to it which she wants to hide. But what?

Andriel's POV

I looked at my phone to check the time. It was already lunch time but my work is not done yet. I checked through the report sent from the border. When I was in another mansion all the reports were sent there but now that I am here, the location changed again. Suddenly I smelled a familiar scent. Before there was a knock I could already guess who was standing on the other side of the door.

"Andriel?" Lysithea called.

"Come in" I replied, still checking the file.

The door opened and she walked in.

"Why are you here?"

"Are you mad at me?"

"Why do you think like that?" My gaze never left the paper.

"Because I know Kayleigh went too far challenging Sandra out of nowhere. She was just a little excited which is why she ended up in such a situation. I am sorry, I couldn't stop her in time, I also have faults in this matter" she explained.

"Lysithea, whatever happened has happened already. There's no need to talk about it"

"You are just generous, which is why you didn't punish her. But it's also a fact that she is wounded. I don't know how Sandra managed to do that but Andriel don't you think it's too strange? I mean please don't take my words the wrong way but Sandra is a human right? But the way she fought, it's kind of suspicious. Could it be that she is different from what she shows us herself?"

This time I looked at her "Lysithea, what are you talking about?"

"I am sorry if I said something wrong. But it's just I am concerned about you and don't know about Sandra's background too" she replied with a low tone.

"I appreciate your concern but you really don't need to think too hard for me" I placed the file aside. "things have changed now, I am the Alpha and I can take care of myself well. Besides, leave my mate out of this. Kayleigh has already involved her enough for my liking"

"Andriel I didn't mean that" Lysithea rushed "it's just we had a friendship for such a long time, you know I would never do something to harm you right?"

I nodded "thanks. Is this what you wanted to say?"

She nodded her head.

"I understand. Don't worry no one can fool me" I replied making her look at me. "Now if you-"

There was another knock on the door "Alpha, master, want you to meet him in the study now" someone informed me from outside.

"I have to go," I said to Lysithea before getting up from my chair. Before she could speak I walked out of the room. It's good that Dad's call came at the right time. I have a better excuse to avoid her. But why did dad suddenly call me?
