Chapter 32

Sandra's POV

I gaped at the man who was smiling like everything is normal. How can he behave so normal while I am dying here? I couldn't settle my thoughts. My heart was in chaos. Okay, I thought about it, well enough but what made him take such a sudden decision? He didn't even give me time to prepare myself.

I shook my head "what do you mean by that?" I wanted to confirm again. Maybe I heard wrong or my ear is buzzing with the wrong tune.

"You need to get ready, I am taking you to the main pack" he said, loud and clear which gave my heart a loud thump. It's real afterall.

"No,no,no wait....." I shook my head again. "You mean you are taking me to meet your parents?"

He nodded casually "yes".

"What do you mean, yes? How can you take such a decision and you didn't even ask me if I am ready or not" I felt anxious, really, really anxious. "You really can't do this to me, especially not like this" I shook my head.

"What's there to be so anxious about? You are just meeting my parents. You need to one day" he shrugged.

"Yes, okay, I get one day but not so fast" I huffed "I am not even prepared"

"You don't need to prepare, just be you, the way you are, okay? That's what I want and that's what you need" he said with a smile. Though his words calmed me down, my anxious heart is crazy right now. How am I going to make him understand?

"But there won't be only your parents, right? Your whole pack is there. How can you expect me to be happy or get excited about it? I don't belong to your lineage and they might feel I am too inferior" I sighed. If it was a normal family meeting maybe I could just think over and calm my heart down or do some preparations but what he is talking about is something more bigger and unusual. Even if I tried, I couldn't rest my heart well.

"You are worrying too much. They are all pack members. They will accept you because you are going to be their Luna. It does not matter where you come from" he leaned near my face "the only identity you have is my mate, the mate of Alpha and the future Luna of the pack. That's all they need to know. If there's any problem, just let me handle it. What you need to do is get yourself comfortable"

"What if your parents think the same?" I asked. Wouldn't his parents think I couldn't match their son? Though it's just a few days and I still don't love him. But this man is making his way towards my end point. Now getting involved with him and knowing him, I don't want to be separated from him.

"They won't" he shook his head "instead they are too happy for us. It was mom who invited us to have dinner this weekend. She wanted to meet you. Besides it will give you more space and advantages to know the pack"

"Wait..... Mom told you that?" Alessia asked. I almost forgot she was here too.

Andriel nodded "yes, she called me today and I couldn't refuse. She is eager to meet my mate"

The word mate sounds so natural to me now. I never thought I would fall into such a situation where a wolf would claim me as his mate, which I never heard before. And now I would have to meet his family too. I can accept his identity but the biggest question is will everyone there accept me as I am? From the hard thinking I thought no for an answer. A pack full of wolves will never take me, an ordinary human, as their Luna. He may not think it but how can I refrain myself from this thought?

"When are we going?" I asked, trying to calm myself.

He smiled "tomorrow morning"

And I hold my breath. Tomorrow.

Later Alessia helped me pack my bags. I didn't have much clothes originally but he filled a wardrobe for me. All the expensive items glimmering blinded my sight.

"Wow, you have a huge collection," Alessia smiled.

"It's not mine. This is the glorious work of your brother" I replied as I zipped my beg.

She laughed "I almost can't believe it. My brother did all these. I mean, come on, that man hates shopping or with the name of it. But I guess he changed his way when he found you"

I shrugged, "so, the main pack is huge?" I was more concerned about the meeting as I couldn't engage myself with her jokes.

"You are curious aren't you?" She tilted her head giving a knowing look at me.

"I really don't know," I sighed. "All these things are complicated. I am still trying to adjust this things but now that I am going to face the pack, I felt nervous more than excitement"

"Sandra, everything will be alright okay" Alessia said softly. "You know my brother, he wanted to show you to the whole pack. Besides, you have to face it today or tomorrow. So isn't it better that you are meeting them soon?"

I nodded "I know, I know. What do your parents like?"

"You want to impress them?" She raised an eyebrow before laughing out.

I frowned "hey, you can't mock me like that. I am being serious here"

"Sorry" she chuckled. "Actually you don't need anything to do. My parents are simple and they like simplicity. Well talking about it, this is something others could not gain so. All are trying to exaggerate things. Including her"

"Her?" I frowned, " Who's that?"

"Not important " she suddenly shook her head. I frowned at her actions. She said 'her'? I heard it clearly. Who is she?

"You don't have to worry. Mom and dad will like you. Besides let me tell you they like food, if you want to use extra charm on them" Alessia smiled "do you know cooking?"

I shrugged "not really good at it, but I learnt few dishes"

"That can help. They complain about the food every time. They are actually crazy about it" she rolled her eyes "you will see once you reach there"

I walked towards her and sat on the bed "tell me a few more things about them. I want to know some so I can have few points to talk about"

"You are so eager" she laughed "okay let me tell you something"

I nodded in excitement.



Lysithea's POV

I combed my hair as I looked at the mirror. I smiled and put the beautiful golden hair clip in my hair, fully satisfied with my look. I was given natural beauty and in the clan my name is considered to be the number one beauty. But the one I wanted to see my beauty is far away from me.

"He will see how beautiful you are. After All there are lines of unmated males who want you. All of them are waiting for your snap of finger and they would fight each other just to get you"

I chuckled when I heard Merel, my wolf said.

"You really know how to boost me"

"We are partners, of course," she replied in my mind.

"Thanks Merel, you are my bestie. I don't know what I will do without you" I sighed, smiling.

"Thea, Thea" I heard Kayleigh's voice. She is my younger sister and also my bestie. I saw her rushing inside the room through the mirror.

"What happened to you?" I frowned.

"I have a news" she panted and shook her head. "Oh god, I ran so fast" she shook her head.

"You need to calm down okay. Tell me slowly" I shook my head.

"What I want to say is what you want to hear. I bet you will jump with joy"

"Really?" I placed the comb on the table and turned to her "what kind of news do you have?"

She grinned "Andriel is returning back"

"What?" I jumped in shock. He is coming back. I can't help but grin. My heart was pounding hard and I felt like it was almost flipping inside. I have been waiting for this moment. I just can't wait for him.

"What-you said is true right? Tell me" I shook her body.

"Ye......ssssss.........." Her words dragged along as her body shook. "Wait" she pulled off. "Let me be free.... Your excitement is killing me"

I rolled my eyes "just answer me. If you are playing pranks then it won't be good" I warned at the end.

"Come on, I know how much you care for him. Why will I prank you on his matter? Besides, it's not a rumor. I heard dad telling mom when I was passing by. So I couldn't wait and I came to you with the news"

"Oh god, he is really coming. This time I won't let him go" I grinned. "Come on let's go shopping, I need dresses"

Kayleigh laughed "ah, already excited?"

"Stop teasing me and let's go" I pulled her with me. Finally Andriel is coming back. And I can't stop my excitement.

Andriel please return quickly, I can't hold my eager heart anymore.
