Chapter 56

Sandra's POV

When we walked into the study room of Alpha Julius I could see few people were already present there. My eyes fell on the unfamiliar man sitting beside mom. I gasped when his gaze fell on me, filled with love, care and longing. He has dark blue hair long enough to reach his shoulder. His blue eyes were holding the kind of emotions I never saw before.

"Sandra" mom smiled "come here darling" she gestured with her hands.

Andriel pushed me forward to go to her. I took slow steps towards her but my eyes were stuck on the man beside her. Without any doubt I know he is my father. He looked so poised and handsome. No one could detect how old he actually is. Mom tugged my hand and pulled me towards her.

"Didn't I tell you, your father will find his way to me. No matter where I live?"

I nodded my head.

"Look he is here" mom glanced at him before looking back at me "he is your dad, aren't you going to meet him?"

I looked at him. Without knowing my tears fell from my eyes. "Dad," I whispered.

He smiled and pulled me into a hug "my daughter, my precious"

I hugged him tightly and sobbed. I always thought I didn't have a dad, and was always jealous seeing others' dad. I wished I had one and today when I found him, I just couldn't stop my tears anymore. I felt mom rubbing my back.

"It's fine honey, he is here now" mom said slowly. After sometime I broke the hug.

"After so many years of waiting I can finally see you this close" dad uttered, his voice breaking. "How much I wished for today, to meet you, talk to you, share your laugh and tears. Now I finally got the chance" he sighed.

"Dad," I called, feeling the word rolling out of my tongue.

His eyes glued on me "call me again"

"Dad," I repeated. "I almost thought I couldn't see you in this life" I sobbed.

He wiped my tears "we are all in the same situation. But not anymore, there's no way I will let it happen again. I had enough of the torture"

"You are not going back are you?" I asked.

"There's still some work that needs my attention but yes, I won't leave. Not this time" he replied, holding the strong determination in words.

"We are like a family now, Winston," Alpha Julius spoke. "You don't have to fight alone this time"

Dad nodded "I appreciate your help Julius"

Soon we all settled down to have the conversation. Andriel, Luna Maeve and Alpha Julius were sitting across from us. I sat at the side while mom settled between dad and I.

"So what are you actually planning to do?" Alpha Julius asked.

"I want to rebuild my pack" we all looked at dad. His face was serious and determined.

"Are you sure?" Alpha Julius asked.

Dad nodded "it's not difficult actually. Though because of the destruction most of my people died in it, there are few who are left. I have met them secretly and gave them the word of reformation. I couldn't back down from my words because of my responsibility. Taking care of my pack is my duty. I was a little neglectful years ago, because of that I had to pay a heavy price. But not now, I want to reform my place and bring it back to life. My people are waiting for it"

"It's not easy" Alpha Julius said "but not impossible though"

"The clan leaders are still around. They have been trying to locate me all these years while forming a group of their own. They would do anything to destroy me"

"It won't be a problem, " Andriel said, "those clan leaders just want to flatter themselves because they don't really have any proper job to do. But it's time to give them some good work"

"Andriel, can you be a little serious?" Luna Maeve frowned.

"Mom, I am serious, " he retorted.

Luna Maeve rolled her eyes.

"Thanks Andriel, I have heard of your bravery and today I have seen it personally" dad flashed a smile. "But after all these years those clan leaders have also gotten stronger. It won't be that easy to defeat them"

"Alpha, the clan leaders are situated in the East side, they formed their army of 10,000 people. Even if we don't take the chance, they won't stay silent for long. With such a long wait they will be planning to attack. By now I think they have gotten the news of Sandra too. They won't be sitting back" Andriel said.

"He is right, there are secret informers roaming around. Sandra's identity couldn't be hidden anymore" Alpha Leon nodded his head.

"Whether we want it or not, the war is on the final list. No matter what we couldn't stop it" dad sighed.

"Sandra needs to have herself in shape," mom said, making us look at her. "The coming situation is hard and she can't live in her ordinary form. Winston you have to do something with her seal. Her wolf needed to be out"

Dad looked at me "you are right. To hide her scent I had to seal her wolf but I guess she is ready to take her journey" he said and pulled out a box from his pocket. "I wanted to give this to her from the start but this is not an ordinary pendant and I feared it would attract others. But today I can finally hand it to her" he handed me the box.

I opened the box only to see a beautiful blue pendant. The color was mixed with golden and green which gives an extraordinary look.

"This...."

"It's a Blue Amber darling," mom replied.

"It's really beautiful" I said, not being able to take my eyes off it.

"Wear it for two days" dad said "it will break the seal on you. In two days your inner wolf will be free from it"

"My wolf? Can I shift too?" I asked.

Dad chuckled "of course, once you are free you will be able to shift into wolf form"

Suddenly my body shook with excitement. I can't wait for it. I saw Andriel's wolf form, it was beautiful. I am excited to see what kind of wolf I will get.

"She looked excited," Luna Maeve chuckled, making me blush. Andriel smirked at me.

"Since things have gotten so far, we need to prepare for the war. No matter when it will be, it's better to take precautions" Alpha Julius said. And suddenly the atmosphere started to become heavy again.

"Those clan leaders are planning too well. Once they destroyed Red Ice, I fear this time-" mom paused.

"Don't worry" dad held her shoulder "nothing will happen this time. Situation is different now"

"I will prepare," Andriel added. "You don't have to worry about anything Luna, this time you are not alone at all. Flaming Ire will fight back with double force and take every single leader down to their knees. It's a promise"

My chest filled with pride when I saw him. He is really willing to take every challenge like this. For us. How lucky I am to have him in my life, as a mate.

"Andriel, you don't know how happy I am to hear this. You are really worthy of your reputation and prestige. I am glad you are my daughter's mate" mom almost cried. She just got my words. I smiled and wore the pendant. I felt the cool gem touch my skin. A kind of electricity ran in my body stopping in my chest. I frowned.

After the discussion over I left the study but Andriel and others are still inside. I saw Alessia and Jarek in the corner. I frowned at them. They looked like they were having a kind of argument. Jarek looked angry as he said something when Alessia suddenly raised her hand and gave a hard slap on his face. I jumped in shock as I looked at them. Jarek looked shocked while Alessia left.

What just happened?

"Sandra" I turned around to see Lysithea.

"Lysithea?"

"I heard some rumors spreading around, I couldn't believe at first but now thinking about it, I wanted to confirm it"

"What do you want to know?"

She smiled "I heard your mom is here and she is Luna?"

I raised my eyebrows "oh, news travels faster"

"What can I do? Even if I stay away the gossiping around the pack won't stop anyway"

"So what if it's true or not. Are you envious?"

She laughed out "how come you are settled with that thought Sandra? You think I am envious of you? You should ask around to see what kind of reputation I hold" her eyes were glittering with pride.

"Your reputation couldn't hide the fact you are mateless Lysithea and that's what makes you envious of me" I said. Her expression started to change.

"What did you say?" She almost growled angrily.

I smirked "you know the meaning better than me, don't you?"

She threw a hard glare at me but couldn't refute it back. This is the first time I saw Lysithea get angry and I find it damn funny.
