Lysithea's POV

I smirked inwardly as I sat in the car. As I challenged her I was finally able to win it. This will be enough for her to know me. If she thinks that by defeating Kayleigh, she can win over me, then she is so wrong here. You have a long way to go, Sandra. It's not easy to get over me. I shifted my gaze towards the man who was driving, focusing his attention on the road. God, this man is so handsome. I have been craving for his touches on my body, to have him. But he never gave me the chance. Now that he found his mate, he is more distant from me. I never thought he would find his mate so soon. I have been praying to the moon goddess not to let him find his mate. But for my bad luck he did.

I sighed "Andriel, I am sorry if I am troubling you too much"

"It's fine," he replied shortly. Couldn't you tell me more? Why do you always show such an uninterested look all the time?

I smiled "thank you. I hope you told your mate about us going to the healers pack?"

He shook his head "no, I couldn't meet her before leaving. I will tell her once I return "

"You haven't told her?" I gasped "I hope she won't be angry right?"

He glanced at me, "why would she be?"

"Andriel, I guess you are really not understanding things or you are just pretending?"

"What are you trying to say?" He frowned.

"I mean, she is your mate. And I saw her standing on the balcony when we were leaving. I wanted to tell you but you were in a hurry. I was just thinking she knew about us going out. Look Andriel, I really don't want to become the reason for any clash. I don't want her to think something else and misunderstand you by any chance"

"You are worrying too much. Nothing will happen like that" he said, still focusing on the road.

"If you think that way, then I am glad" I sighed. "Sandra is new and doesn't know me, so she may think in a different way and misunderstand our trip. But looking at your believe in her, I am really assured now"

"Why did you think she would doubt us?" He asked.

I smiled "is it that hard? Andriel don't you hear the rumors around us. I mean to say, the pack members think since we are childhood friends there will be some kind of relationship between us. They fancy us being a couple. But it's just their wishful thinking. So given all these points, I don't want your mate to think there's something between us. It will give wrong impression on our friendship"

"If you are worrying about it then you really don't have to. I understand that you are worried but she is my mate. And even if she finds the rumors and misunderstand me, I will clear it up" he replied casually.

I clenched my fist. Of course, you will. I know you well. It's just you didn't try to understand my feelings Andriel. If you, then you would have understood what it feels like to see your loved one loving another person.

"Of course, that's what I want. I hope there will be no misunderstanding between you two" I nodded.

Soon the car pulled into the pack area and stopped before the entrance gate. It was early evening but the surroundings were dark. The healer's house was lit up with lanterns.

"Here we are" Andriel got out of the car and so did I. We walked towards the house.

"I have something to do, so maybell I will see you in an hour?"

I nodded "very well". I watched him walking towards the healer's library. I frowned at him. What's his motive for coming here? He even went to the library side? But why? What does he want to find in there? I couldn't understand him. Shaking my head I walk towards the healers house.

"Master Healer" I smiled as I stepped inside the head healer's room. He was a middle aged man and a good friend of dad. He was also considered as the well known healer, in modern words a doctor of the wolf clan. But today it was dad's purpose that I had to come and visit.

Healer Fariq smiled "ah, my favorite girl you are here. Come, come"

"I hope you are doing fine?" I smiled.

"I am good. How about you? You are looking more beautiful with each passing days"

"Master Healer, you really know how to joke" I pulled out a small packet from my purse "here, this for you. Dad told me to give you this"

"Oh, your father remembered it" he nodded "I am glad he didn't forget it till now" he took the packet and smiled.

"You are his good friend, how will he forget the things you like?"

"Since you are here, would you like to help me in gardening activities? I have new plants I bought yesterday" he suggested.

"Really? I am excited now" I nodded "and I also want to meet Kaeya too. It has been days"

"Good, come on. Kaeya will be happy to see you too"

"Yes" I smiled and was excited to meet my old friend.



Sandra's POV

I glared at the juice glass in front of me. He really went out with her. I can understand that they are friends. No scratch that I don't even want to understand anything about them. Lysithea challenged to show how much she knows. And she really did it. Hell, I am so angry right at this moment.

"Why are you glaring at this poor glass?" Alessia asked.

I rolled my eyes "I don't know, I am so angry right now"

"Come on, you are not doubting him are you?"

I glared at her "what do you mean? He went with her on that so-called date, and I don't even have the right to get angry? He is my mate for god's sake"

"Date?" Alessia frowned then suddenly laughed.

"Don't laugh," I warned.

"Okay, okay" she coughed "look, I know what you might be thinking but don't you think it is absurd?"

"Really? You know what I am thinking?"

"Maybe," she shrugged. "But I know something"

"You know what?"

She smiled "you are jealous? Aren't you?"

I rolled my eyes "are you really asking me this Alessia?"

"I couldn't help" she chuckled, "looking at your expression right now, anyone with two eyes working perfectly could see it" she sat on bed then threw her arms around my shoulder "but one thing is sure, you don't have to worry about it. My brother is not like that. He won't do anything that will hurt you"

"Of course, I could see it with proof" I mocked, "humph! He didn't even inform me about his leaving. What do you want me to think in this matter? After bringing me here, did he forget he has a mate too?"

"Well that will-" before she could finish the door of the room cracked open revealing my mate. He looked the same as he went, always a handsome and dashing guy that one couldn't stop gawking at.

He frowned slightly when he saw us "what are you doing here in my room?" His words directed towards Alessia.

"Oh, I was accompanying your mate who was left alone by you" Alessia teased getting up from bed.

"What?" Andriel frowned, then his gaze traveled towards me. I have an expressionless face.

"Yeah, you don't know" Alessia walked to him "well, what can one do when you left your mate in the pack then went out with your childhood friend to have a date, and as your sister I have to accompany your lonely mate" she sighed, saying like it was a great sadness. I rolled my eyes at her gesture. What is this girl trying to do?

"What the fucking nonsense are you sprouting?" Andriel growled.

"What can I do about it? It was your mate who is the victim" Alessia yelled and immediately went out of the room leaving us alone. Good, this girl lit the fire and left it for us to burn in it.

Andriel turned to look at me "what's happening?"

"How could I know that? It's you who should give me an answer"

"What's with that attitude?" He frowned and walked to me.

"You should know that too"

He raised an eyebrow "why are you saying that?"

"You don't know?" I asked "of course how will you, when you were busy with your best friend"

"What the-" he paused for a while "are you talking about Lysithea?"

"Wow, it's a god's grace you finally got the point" I faked my surprise.

"Oh" he smiled "if I don't know clearly, I will assume that you are jealous my love"

"What right do I have to get jealous?" I glared at him.

"Oh, do you want me to show you then, since you have no idea about it" he started to unbutton his shirt.

My eyes widened immediately "wha-what are you doing?"

He smirked "I am going to show you, what kind of right you have love"

"You-you- stay away" I said, climbing on the bed and staying away from his clutch. "You better not try anything funny," I warned him.

He get on bed removing his shirt and throwing on the floor carelessly "we will see"

And before I could say anything he got hold of my ankle and jerked me forward making me scream "Ah...."
