Chapter 62

Sandra's POV


Two days later, the damage caused in the pack because of war was settled down. Andriel was arranging everything. Dad and mom are staying here till the Red Ice is reconstructed again. Those hidden members of Red Ice were brought into the pack by dad. When they heard about me they cried. I never knew I had a pack and there are few members which I can call them as mine. Mom was too happy to see them, they even bowed and chatted for a while. And now we are having breakfast in the dining hall when Alpha Julius suddenly spoke.

"I have sent people to redesign the Red Ice again. I hope you won't mind my interfering in this matter"

"What are you saying?" Dad shook his head. "All these years I have been dreaming to recollect all the memories I have spent in my pack. But that dream would have stayed as the dream of I hadn't met you. I am glad you are taking the initiative to help me out in this matter"

Alpha Julius smiled, "don't say such a thing. We are related and we are a family too. Rebuilding Red Ice is a good thing. Once the construction is done, you and Luna could start a new life again. We want you two to stay together after all you two have given almost all of your life to safeguard Sandra, our Luna''

I was surprised to see Alpha Julius say such a thing. I knew he was a good man yet he always stayed aloof from me. But his view towards me is really surprising. He has always proven to me how much he is worthy of his pack.

"I appreciate your suggestion Julius. I don't know how to thank you for this. Kristen and I have been struggling to fight our enemies for years already. We wanted to provide a good life for our daughter. But I am glad Moon Goddess has paired her with your son which was a great blessing on our part. From now on, I can be assured that my daughter is safely protected from head to toe" dad laughed.

"It's our luck that Sandra became Andriel's mate" Luna Maeve said, "this son of mine is always aggressive and just too much. I used to wonder what kind of mate he would get. But luckily Sandra came into his life which solved the problem faster" she turned towards me, "thank you for holding onto him even when he is sometimes senseless" she chuckled while Andriel let out a groan.

"Mom"

"I know, I know" Luna Maeve waved her hand. I shook my head. After the meal I got ready. Andriel walked in as I looked at him through the mirror.

"You are really going?"

"I don't have any choice. The exam is coming up and I need to visit University to grab the routine and also some lessons" I combed my hair.

"Since that's the case, I will drop you there"

I turned to look at him, "you want to go there?"

He nodded, "it's not like I will let you go alone"

I chuckled, "are you still worried? I have become a werewolf too if you have just forgotten"

He walked to me and pulled me towards him "that's what I feared the most. Now that your wolf has awakened it's making my wolf more crazy. My wolf has tasted you before and everytime you are near us it makes us horny as hell"

I gasped "why do you always think of 'that' thing. Can't you think of anything else?" I poked his chest.

"That's the problem darling, with you, we have no control" he smirked while I rolled my eyes. Damn this man.

The car was parked outside the university gate. I turned to look at him, "last time I couldn't get the books to study and now after the war tension I have to recollect all the data for the exam"

"Are you going to attend classes?" He frowned.

I shook my head, "no, but I need to visit the library and meet Cat too. The classes are not important anymore. I need to get some pointers I needed to lose the burden of the papers"

He nodded, "call me when you are finished. I will be here around"

"Okay, see you soon" I grinned and got out of the car. I saw him turning around and leaving. Sighing, I turned around and walked inside the gate. I met Cat in the classroom. She was doing some writing in her notebook.

"Hey" I said as I sat down beside her.

"OMG, you are here today?" She gasped.

"Yeah, I am here to check for the exam timetable and also to collect some notes"

"Tell me, did your handsome man drop you again?" She nudged me teasing.

I laughed, "he probably won't let me come alone. He is too possessive for that"

"Wow, I never thought you would get that cheesy romance of a love story in the book. But I fucking like it" she grinned making me roll my eyes.

"You are so after those story novels. Stop reading too much or it will affect your body"

"Come one, for a single like me, we have to have something to refrain ourselves from getting envious" she put her palm on her cheeks. "I am hoping to get a handsome boyfriend now. Aw... Your hero gives me the intention of buying a freaking handsome boyfriend"

I narrowed my eyes, "are you nuts? Buying a boyfriend?"

"Come one, can't I even dream about it?" She pouted. I couldn't help but laugh at her.

"Go, build a house in that dream and live there. Reality has no relation with you my dear" I said to her.

"You are a dream destroyer" she huffed.

I laughed "okay, I am going to the library now. Are you going to come?"

She nodded "you are lucky, I need to return the question paper too. So let's go together"

We walked towards the library and saw a few people walking past us with an unknown look. I frowned at them.

"What happened? Is there something going on on the web?" I asked.

"Oh, you didn't know" Cat chuckled, "the well-known dick-bitch couple broke up. It's going on as a hot story of the university since a week"

"What? They broke up?" I was surprised.

"Yep"

"I was not expecting that. They seemed like they were made for eachother" I shrugged. Wow, what news I got Shaelyn and Liam broke up after those nasty things they had done? Are they tired already?

"No one did actually" Cat continued to giggle, "Shaelyn threw tantrum on the campus. It said it was Liam who broke up with her"

"He did?" I frowned, "since when has he become this sensible? Has his dick started to give up its spirit?" I blurted out.

Cat laughed, "What a funny joke!"

"Well whatever it is I-" I was about to say when I felt a presence behind me. I moved my body swiftly before the other person could do anything. Shaelyn stumbled forward.

"What the-" Cat frowned at her, "what the hell do you think you are doing?"

Shaelyn, who was not expecting me to move before she could push me, turned her shocking face and glared at me "it was you who did it. Because of you he broke up with me. You bitch are you satisfied now?" She yelled, causing the other people to stop walking to look at her drama. I glanced at them. Since she wants to make these things public then I won't hold back. I want to see what she wants to do. I had enough of her fucking accusations. I folded my arms and looked at her.

"What do you want to say?" I asked.

"Don't pretend to be an innocent bitch" Shaelyn yelled, "you are the reason behind my ruin. Because of you, Liam gave up on me. We were so happy until you walked into our lives. We were a happy couple but you had to ruin everything" she shouted.

"Really?" I stepped forward closer to her "was it me who bet to play with feeling. Was it me who went to him begging for a relationship? Was it me who was cheating behind with a slut like you. Was it me who came between you two? Don't plaster your sins on others, Shaelyn. Don't tell me you were innocent in this matter. Liam bet on me with his friends to seduce me, you knew it well. When he was flirting with me behind my back you two were laughing when having sex. Yet you still had the gut to accuse me because now he broke up with you. Do you think I will like a dick like him after knowing everything?"

Shaelyn's eyes widened, "how dare you slander me?" She rushed towards me and raised her hand to slap but her hand was caught in mid way. I turned my head to see Liam holding her hand. I rolled my eyes great now the jerk is here.

"Why did you stop me? Do you care for her that much? You are even protecting her" Shaelyn cried out.

"You have made enough scenes Shaelyn, stop now" Liam hissed.

"No, I won't go. You left me because of her. How could you do that?" Shaelyn jerked her hand and grabbed his collar. "I loved you so much. Then why there's a change of heart in you. I have done everything you wanted yet you are not satisfied?" She sobbed.

Now looking at her I feel pity. But it's not my doing, it's her karma.

"Tell me you love me Liam" she suddenly screamed.

Liam held her wrist and forcefully pulled her hands away, "stop your nonsense now. You need rest, go home and we will talk later"

"No, you have to answer me," she insisted.

Liam was about to reply when a womanly voice echoed around "what's going on here?"
