When I opened my eyes again I found myself in the familiar room. At my side Andriel was sitting on the chair looking at me.

"What happened?" I asked.

"You fainted" his reply was short.

"I didn't know, what happened to me?"

"Why didn't you tell me about your condition? Were you trying to worry me?"

"No, I thought to check up first before going to the doctor. I was not expecting to be like this" I hurriedly explained.

"You are not going to hide anything from now on. Do you hear me?"

"I am sorry. But what happened to me?" I asked again.

He suddenly smiled "something that should have happened earlier"

"What?" I frowned.

"You are pregnant. We are having our first child" he grinned.

That news was like a thunderbolt. I am pregnant? I looked down at my flat belly. A child?

"Are you okay?" I looked up to see he was giving a worried expression.

I nodded "I just can't believe I am pregnant. How long is it?"

"It's confirmed. A month old" he replied.

I smiled "we are really having our child?"

I sat up on bed and he sat beside me pulling in his arms "yes, we are. And we will work hard on it"

"Definitely" I nodded.

"Congratulations...." Suddenly the room filled with noises. I was surprised to see mom and dad were here too. But I am glad they are here. The news of our first child was like a wave which brought smiles and happiness to everyone. After such a heart break I never thought I would get my happy ending like this.
