Sandra's POV

"Aw, he is such a cute baby boy" mom's eyes glistening as she looked at my son. She was holding the little buddy in her arms. I couldn't help but smile. Even I fell in love with this little man and who couldn't when he was so charming?

"He looks like Andriel" Luna Maeve smiled as she wiped the corner of her eyes, "Andriel looked just like him when he was born. These eyes, nose and even the whole facial feature, all are same"

"Sandra you need to work harder," mom suddenly said, "since your son got his father's features then you have to give birth to another which looks like you. We couldn't let these men take all the credits"

I laughed at her words, "mom, I just gave birth yesterday and you are planning for another grandchild? Have some mercy on me"

"I am not saying now, but I would be glad to have more grandchildren running around. Maybe I could adopt one" she gave a dreamy eyes.

I rolled my eyes. My mother is so dramatic. Though the pain I went through was worth it in the end, I am still scared. My body is still exhausted and in pain. For now, I really don't want to think of another child. One time experience is enough.

"I know giving birth is not easy. But we women are made for it because we are strong" mom hold my hands, "moon goddess knows our ability which is why she gave us powers to endure this phase of giving birth. No matter how strong men can be, they don't have such Power. My dear, I never had the chance to give birth to another baby and give you the love of siblings because at that time the situation was not right. Besides, your dad and I stayed away for years, which never gave us the chance to think of planning another child. I just wanted to have few grandchildren to fulfill my dreams"

"Her first birth was not smooth which is why she is scared" Luna Maeve said, "but don't worry, with time your fear will fade away. There's no force for it dear. It clearly depends on you and Andriel. We are already happy we have our grandson. Currently we only want to play with him"

I smiled, "I know, please don't get disappointed of I couldn't live your expectations"

"Oh dear, you don't have to worry about it," Luna Maeve shook her head.

"Ah, everyone is here" Alessia walked in. She was holding flowers. Behind there was a maid who was holding food.

"Where have you been?" Her mother asked "I couldn't find you in the pack"

"I went to bring flowers. And also to order the maids to cook food for Sandra. The pack doctor said she needed to fill her stomach and needs lots of energy"

"She can't eat oily foods now, and there are also some restrictions" Luna Maeve frowned at her.

Alessia grinned, "don't worry I have made the doctors to give the diet chart of her. Of course I won't let her eat anything without any knowledge" she gestured to the maid to walk forward. "see I asked the kitchen to make light food as prescribed by the doctors"

"Since when have you become so understanding? What's the change?" Luna Maeve narrowed her eyes.

"Since I became an aunt" Alessia replied cheerfully and handed me the flowers "here you go new mamma. You need some refreshments and I know along with these old ladies you are bored" she whispered which made me laugh.

"Whom you are calling old my dear?" Luna Maeve smiled, "I guess you need some lessons to make you understand a few things." Her smile was weird which made Alessia alert.

"Well, dad was calling me when I was coming here. So see you soon, I need to leave now" she rushed towards the door. "And Sandra, don't forget to eat it, let me tell you it's tasty" then she disappeared like a smoke.

Luna Maeve shook her head, "I am glad she is still playful yet I couldn't rest my heart thinking about her"

"What happened?" Mom asked.

"Mom, Alessia rejected her mate," I answered.

"Rejected?" Mom gasped , "but why?"

"Because her mate, Jarek, never cared for her and was with another woman all the time. I feel sad when I think of this matter. Alessia is beautiful, kind hearted and smart, I don't understand why he was so blind to neglect her like this. He was refusing to recognise her as his mate. Few months ago, Jarek visited her and asked to reconcile while Alessia was angry. She said she couldn't place her trust on him anymore and wanted nothing but freedom from the bond. Which is why she rejected him as a mate" I explained.

"What about Jarek? Did he accept?" Mom asked.

"He had to of course. Though he refused the rejection and wanted to force her to accept the bond, Alessia had already made up her mind and didn't care about his tantrums. She knows what she wants and she exactly did it. Though it was painful for her she said she will live without a mate even if it's needed but will never be with a jerk like him" I shrugged.

"It sounds so bad" mom sighed, she turned to look at Luna Maeve "I am sorry, at such a young age she had to face such cruelty. When I hear such things, I guess our life is not different from the human world. Even if we are given the ability to find mate but some doesn't appreciate it"

"I know" Luna Maeve smiled, "I am glad my daughter is strong enough to handle her situation so perfectly. Andriel was so angry when he heard of Jarek's action. He even wanted to take revenge for her, but Alessia stopped him" she sighed, "whatever it is, everything happened for good. I believe since Jarek was not her chosen mate then maybe she could find her second chance"

"Mom, I believe the same," I smiled at her, "moon goddess knows what's best for her. And Alessia is innocent in this matter so Moon Goddess won't be unfair to her. She will definitely plan something good for her and I know it"

"Thank you Sandra" Luna Maeve smiled, "with such a supportive people around her, of course Alessia is not alone"

I hold her hand, "she is not alone, we all are here for her and now there's also this little one who will protect his aunt"

They laughed loudly. Suddenly Conor let out a cry in mom's arm.

"Talking about him looks like he is hungry" mom smiled down at him.

"I just fed him 2 hours ago," I sighed.

"And he peed two times" Luna Maeve laughed, "he needs his stomach to fill my dear. After giving birth don't think you will out of troubles"

I nodded, "you are right mom". I took him from mom and they got up.

"Feed him first then eat something. We will come to check on you again" Lena Maeve said and I nodded.

"Okay"

"Andriel must be coming here. He said he has a meeting then he will clear today's schedule and will accompany you more" She added before they left. I looked at my son who was drinking milk. Hmm..... You are the price of my efforts and hardship baby. I wonder who will be your mate? But whoever it is, I want you to hold onto her just like your father. If he didn't kidnap me and force me to accept him, I wouldn't have known how beautiful and adventurous life can be.

After feeding him he fell asleep again. He is sleeping, drinking then sleeping. It has become his duty since he was born. The opening of the door made me look at it. Andriel walked in with a smile. He unbuttoned his shirt, giving me a good look at his chest.

"Tired?" I asked, smiling.

"Not at all. It was just a small meeting and phone calls" he walked to me" "how are you feeling?"

"Umm.... A little tired, but the doctor said it's because of the pain I went through during the labor and it will be over after resting enough"

He nodded and sat down on bed, "I don't know how to explain. I am fucking happy and feel lucky. I have my mate and now my son" he smirked, "since we already have our son, we could enjoy our life without any worry"

I frowned, "what do you mean without worry?"

"Well, the matter of heir is already here, so there will be no question in the future"

My eyes widened "you mean after Conor there won't be any children?"

He frowned, "what do you mean by such an expression? I have seen you how much pain you endured to give birth to Conor. It's enough already. I am not allowing you to go through another phase of pain like that. It broke my heart hearing your painful scream"

Well I was not expecting him to say this. When I tried to say something he stopped me "no more arguments over this matter Sandra. Forget about others. Having children is our personal choice. One is enough and I don't want to risk your life anymore. Anything could happen yesterday and I don't have such patience to see such scene again"

And at this moment I knew I couldn't say anything. I can see the trouble in his eyes. And the only thing I could do was nod.

"If that's what you want then, let's do this as you say"

He smiled, "Conor is enough keep the pack my love and you have to trust him"
