Chapter 53

Sandra's POV

I was standing on the balcony looking at the night sky. Today it was cloudy so the moon was hidden behind the curtains of clouds. The breeze was mild but chilly. Suddenly I felt myself embraced into a warm hug. I smiled when the familiar scent reached my nostrils. Being in his arms, it felt like home.

"What are you doing here alone?" He whispered.

"I was just thinking about something" I sighed as I leaned on his chest.

"Are you worried about the revelation?" He asked.

"Hmm... It was shocking for me. All my life I lived an ordinary life, away from all these secrets and now that suddenly everything is hitting one after another, it's really hard for me to adjust. I never expected that my mother would be Luna of the pack. When you first told me about the werewolf clan, I first found it funny. All those mates and bonding, then pack and rules and regulations all of those stuffs seemed more like a fantasy than reality. I thought how come I found myself being engaged with a wolf clan totally differ from me in every way but now I realized that no, it's all happening because I, myself involved in this different world, and I believe there are many more on the way" I said what's running in my mind.

"I know it will be hard," he said after some time. "But this is your reality, the real you. You can't run away from it. Every event has its purpose and you need to be ready to face it. Just like all do. It's not about you and me, but all of the others. Take an example as your mom. To save you and keep you protected she lived like an ordinary woman, away from her clan where she actually belonged. To be honest, I find her strong and courageous to be able to stay away from her mate, your father all these years. Your mom and dad have sacrificed everything, for whom? You know that too well, don't you?"

I know what he said is true, I can't deny it. Hearing the story from mom made me feel amazement towards her. She could do anything for me, even if it means staying away from her husband and hiding in the midst of humans throwing away all her identity, just for me. Selflessly, providing me with all love and care and raised me to be able to stand on my own. I can't be more thankful enough to her. For doing all these things, giving me the unconditional love I ever needed.

At the end I nodded my head in agreement "you are right. I have always admired her strength. But I never knew she had this deep secret she was enduring all these years. I hope I will become like her one day"

"You are," he replied instantly.

"What?" I was confused, not understanding his meaning at all.

"I said you are already strong. If it were another girl in your place, I could guarantee that her reaction won't be the same as yours. She might faint out of shock" he chuckled, "and it also saved me from many troubles you know"

I laughed, "So Mr. Alpha, you think you got a strong woman as your mate?"

He chuckled again, "I do, and I am proud of it. Moon goddess has prohibited me to get you all these years and I was patient enough to wait. And now I understand that all those waiting just worth it"

"Would you still wait if I was not here too?" This question left me without knowing. I was also surprised by myself. What did I just ask?

He didn't reply for a moment before I heard another chuckle from him "are you somehow jealous again?"

"Hey, it was just a question. How come jealousy is involved in it?" I rushed to reply. What the fuck, did I sound like a jealous woman now?

"Maybe" he laughed before tightening his hold on me "but do you know I would prefer the jealous mate more. It was a fucking turn on and you are fucking beautiful"

"That's not my answer" I pursed my lips. He swiftly turned me around to face him. Our faces were close enough to feel each other's breath on skin.

"I would have, and will always do" he didn't let me for any reply as he just sealed my mouth with his. The temptation grew wider and I know just where it's going to end. But I couldn't deny it. I want him as much as he wants me.

I moaned into his mouth when he pushed his tongue inside. He gripped my waist as he kissed me hard. I could taste his masculine savor, melting into my mouth. We kissed like there's no tomorrow and all we have is now. After the toe-curling kiss he stopped. Pulling away a little so that he can see my face.

"You fucking taste so good darling"

I blushed, "you are seriously something...." I shook my head. I don't know what I should say now.

"Let's go, let's finish what we started" he suggested which made me giggle.

"Are you up for some action dear Alpha?" I blinked at him.

He smirked "let me show you how it's done sweetheart" he suddenly hoist me up in a princess style and I squealed.

"Ah....what are you doing?"

"I am just going to give you some action which you love the most"

Helplessly I hooked my arms around his neck and smiled "since it's your desire then this slave accept it" I replied dramatically which he chuckled.

"I will let you taste the heaven my love" with that promise he took me inside the room. The night is still young but I know I won't be able to get a wink of sleep.

Next day I woke up late only to find my mate had already left. I sighed and took a shower then got dressed. When I went down the stairs I saw Alessia was drinking coffee sitting on the couch. She was so engrossed in her phone that she didn't notice me at all.

"Good morning," I said, making her look at me.

"Good morning" she flashed a smile "I was thinking why you didn't show up but now I guess it's my brother's doing, isn't it?"

I rolled my eyes "do you really have to be like that?"

She laughed "well it's not my fault. You two are just something.."

"Of course" I nodded, pursing my lips.

"Coffee?" Suddenly two cups of coffee were placed on the table. When I looked up I saw an unfamiliar girl standing in front of me. Who is she?

"Oh my god, you are back" Alessia's scream almost made me deaf. Her figure flashed in front of my eyes as I saw her pulling the unfamiliar girl into a bone crushing hug.

"Alessia, I can't breathe," the girl said with difficulty.

"Sorry" Alessia pulled away. "I was not expecting you to return so soon. God, I missed you as hell. When did you return?"

"Last night. I haven't told him yet" that girl smiled.

"It's good, let me introduce you" Alessia said as she turned to look at me "Sandra, meet she is Martina, Fenriz's mate"

"Fenriz? Who?" I frowned not getting her point.

"Oh I forgot to tell you, Fenriz is the beta of the pack and my brother's most trusted one. I guess you haven't met him" Alessia smiled.

I nodded "I never had the chance"

"And Martina, she is Sandra, Alpha's mate"

Martina's eyes widened "Alpha's mate?" She gasped. "What a great surprise Alpha already found his mate?"

"Yes, he did," Alessia laughed, "I was also shocked when I first heard it. But in the end I am glad he finally found his Luna. At least mom and dad stopped worrying about him"

Martina smiled then walked to me "hello, Luna. I am Martina Peokins. Nice to meet you"

I got up from the couch and pulled her for a hug. She looks so cute when she smiles and I couldn't help hugging her.

"Nice to meet you too" I pulled away, "but I will be more happy if you call me Sandra instead of Luna"

"But -"

I shook my head "no buts. The title seems weird to me. Since we are living in the same place, why did it need to be so formal?"

Martina sighed and looked at Alessia who just nodded her head. She turned to me "I never thought that Luna would be this generous. Thank you, since you want this way then I will call you Sandra"

I grinned "that's more like it"

"Okay, since Martina is also here, the fun will be doubled. Come on, we have many things to catch up" Alessia held our hands and pulled us with her.

"Poor coffee, they are just ignored repeatedly," I joked.

Martina laughed "well I will make another one later"

I nodded and smiled. Well living in the pack is not that bad. And I am glad I have got a few friends here. This time, the generous and loyal one.
