I watched with wide eyes as he took her hand,he didn't even protest or look shocked as he pulled her close to his side. I didn't know what to do, it was as if I was glued on my spot,my jaw felt as if it was going to drop all the way down South.I just watched silently in shock as everything took place.
"I know this is a shock to everyone,"he said and I felt like rolling my eyes at the understatement "But part of the changes I had talked about include me being mated to a royal...a pure born lycan. It is rare for mixed species to mate and produce an heir and an heir is something I need plus the pack as well."he explained. I almost passed out at that moment,thank God Sophie held me up,I looked at her and she looked as if she was witnessing the biggest joke of all times.
"The fuck is wrong with him!I cannot believe this is happening right now.Did he hit his head on a wall or something and lose his fucking mind?"she said in shock but I couldn't reply her. I was speechless,I cannot believe my virginity was taken by this fool,I let him fool me with sweet words and fake promises. I cannot believe I let this whole mate bond bullshit lead me to this.I was a fool,a fool, biggest fool of the century.
"And your mate!?"one man shouted from the crowd and everyone listened carefully for their Alpha's reply.
Jake nodded "Tradition allows me to keep my true mate as second but Bella will be the lunar as per Avalon law."
"Bullshit!,you are crazy if you think I will ever stand for this!"I screamed at him and everyone gasped at how disrespectful I was being to their Alpha but I didnt give two shits about him. I had finally accepted it, werewolf supernatural life wasn't for me. I was stupid to ever think it was for me.
Jake growled at me "you will do well to know your place,mate."he warned and I kept quiet. I was done talking to him,listening to him or having anything to do with him.I ran out of the room as fast as I could with Sophie chasing after me but I didn't stop until I was far from it all.
I don't know how I reached his place but I did and I started packing."fuck ,this is insane,why did I even stay with him in the first place. Stupid,stupid ,stupid Priscilla."I kept mumbling to myself. I was going to call my mother,she was always travelling and she could give me some money to start over. Far away from all this,she was right to have kept me from it all in the first place but instead I was an ungrateful little love struck bitch.
Oh my God Prisca!You scared me what are you doing?"Sophie asked panting after chasing me all the way back to the pack house.She came closer to me and watched as I packed and threw every one of my belongings in a suitcase.
I scoffed at her question "I am leaving,that's what I am doing!This life is fucked up and if I stay I will lose my mind. Hell this is bullshit,me,second my foot!"
"You can't leave,you are our rightful lunar. Talk to Jake you know he doesn't think straight sometimes."she begged me and I sighed in frustration.
Talk that's all I ever do but he never listens. Jake always did whatever he wanted "I am tired of talking to him Sophie,what he did out there didn't only embarass but it degraded me in front of our pack.Now they see me as a witch who shouldn't be with their Alpha,a mistake."
Sophie sat down on the bed next to me and sighed again. She knew I was right,werewolves and witches were never supposed to be mated. The fact that I couldn't shift into my beast as well just made me look pathetic in their eyes,I was as good as an omega to them."Just talk to him first,okay. Hear his side of the story and if it's all bullshit I will help you run.I cannot force you to stay here and be second while he flaunts Bella in your face. I cannot believe she could be so fucking bitchy,stealing someone's mate!"she said in anger. I could feel the betrayal in her voice and she was furious.
"Okay but I know how this is gonna end. It always ends with me at the bottom with my sorry ass crying over the jerk."I groaned. This had to be the worst nightmare of my entire life.
Hours later I was heading to Jake's main office in another iscolated building I had recently learned about. That's were he had all his main private meetings and discussions concerning the pack. I could smell him and it annoyed me how I just wanted to be in his arms right now. I pushed my beast at the back of my mind and knocked on the wooden door ,I heard him answer for me to come in.
Unfortunately he wasn't alone,Bella was with him in deep conversation. It hurt so badly seeing them discuss things so close together like a married couple.He was truly a shameless bastard.
She didn't even face me when I walked in with my head held high but I didn't care.I should have trusted my instincts when they warned me about her being shady."We need to talk, privately."I said glaring daggers at Jake.Glaring at an Alpha was considered as challenging him or disrespectful but he didn't look angry he just nodded his head.
"Bella ,we can talk later. Give us a moment."he told her and she walked out immediately like a little obidient wife.It took me everything I had not to pounce on her and smash her face in with my fists.
It didn't even take me a minute to walk up to him and give him the biggest slap of his life. My hand hurt after I slapped the bastard and his face turned to his left in shock. He grabbed my arms in anger and pushed me back hitting me against his desk."Don't ever lay your hands on me again."he said with a warning growl.
I scoffed "you think you can play me like this!Making me second shit and taking another mate right in front me?Making her lunar and replacing me!Are you fucking shitting me right now!"I yelled at him spitting on his face in disgust.
He grabbed my hair harshly but it didn't hurt as much as it should have,I was too clouded with anger."It is for this pack,you know already that the council can hardly accept a witch as lunar of any pack and I need an heir. I need my home ,my land and this is what had to be done. It's a small price to pay for everything I will be getting. As my mate you should understand that!"he said releasing my arms and I slapped him again. How dare him,so he would abondon me for power,like I was nothing.
His eyes turned obsidian black in anger and his aura changed,he was dangerous and maddened but I was furious as well."You are a fucking disappointment ,Alpha!A fucking cunt and I hate you...I might as well replace you too."I told him as I tried storming out of the room but he immediately threw me harshly onto a large couch near the fireplace. I almost fell of it from the pressure.
He grabbed my jeans and tore them off violently growling at me "I am your mate,you will not do such a thing. You are mine and you will do well to understand that,maybe you just need a reminder!"he said before ramming himself inside me with so much pressure I cried out loud.
I clawed at his back ripping his skin open with my claws and he growled at me but that didn't stop him from fucking me senseless."Fuck!"I moaned out loud as he ripped the rest of my cloths off and immediately sucked on the mark he left on my breast.I couldn't help but moan in pleasure at his touch,I cursed at the mate bond for making me feel this way. I was supposed to be angry,screaming and kicking but instead the only thing I was screaming out was his name.
