Chapter 69
"Give me your hand,I am going to cut your palm just a little bit for some blood.The spell is going to need your blood for it to work." Selena said with a blank face. I nodded my head and gave her my hand. Tim gave me a wink as he smiled at me nodding his head, it made me feel better but I was still a little bit scared. This was my very first spell and it required me getting hurt just for me to find my jerk of a mate.
I felt a sharp sting as Selena cut my right palm with a sharp golden blade,she squeezed my palm in a silver goblet and I watched painfully as my blood poured into the goblet slowly.After she felt like it was enough she handed me a white clean cloth to cover my palm that was already healing due to my fast healing abilities.Tim handed her a map as Shawn lit three candles,a white candle,a purple candle and a green candle.
"The map is going to help your mate to find you,it will direct him and the candles are for protection. Whenever you make a spell you must make sure you are protected because with every spell comes a great cost.You are at risk of bringing in unknown entities into your world" Tim explained as he sprinkled a little bit of salt around the map forming a circle around the map,"Repeat these words as you pour this salt around the map just as I did,make sure the circle is closed otherwise the spell will be compromised by unknown entities and unknown entities may be dangerous.Say it out loud and say it like you mean it." he continued as he passed me a paper with a few words written on it-words that rhymed just like poetry.
"what are unknown entities?"I asked curiously
Shawn sighed before answering me ,I had a feeling Shawn and the red head didn't really like me as much, "demons,bad spirits or lost souls. Trust me you do not want those anywhere around you."
I cleared my throat and began to do as I was told carefully "With this arm I protect my home,with these words I create a dome.Only he who I desire shall hear my words,a message to him I send. A message to him he receives and him alone.So mote it be as I desire" I finished pouring the salt as the flames on the candles began to rise a little.
"Take this lavender and drop it in the goblet whilst chanting the words on this paper three times.After that pour the your blood on to the map.Mean those words and own them."Shawn said handing me a lavender .
I grabbed the plant and nodded my head as I looked down at the map on a table "mate to mate I call on your name.Hear my voice and follow it now.Find me far or near I am yours.Follow the voice of your half and it will lead you home not so far."I poured my blood onto the map right after dropping the plant into the goblet.The candles suddenly burned brighter as we watched the blood trace our location linking it Jake's pack house.I could hear soft whispers as the flames kept burning brighter and the heat in room increased.
JAKE
"What do you mean you cannot find her!" I shouted angrily at the two men in front of me,my beta and my best warrior Flint.
Chris sighed heavily with worry clearly showing in his eyes, "Alpha you need to stay calm if we are going to find her successfully. We have searched everywhere in the village and she wasn't there.There is no trace of her or her scent"
"Then invade every household until you find her.Chris I will not stay calm until she is here by my side safe and sound" I said dangerously slow so he would understand each and every single word.
My mind was going crazy,I had lost her again and this was becoming a very disgusting habit.She was my mate,yes I have made harsh and rash decisions lately but it was all for a good reason. If I hadn't accepted taking the red wolf as a mate my pack would have forsaken me and my true mate would in danger. The Scottish pack was different in every way than my original pack.They are more wild and sinister luckily I heard learned everything about them fast. Once they forsake their Alpha they don't just banish him,they kill him as sacrifice to the moon goddess to appease her.They have different beliefs, more of like heathens but they are my people and in time I will change everything.
It is good thing the red wolf's father betrayed me,giving me a good reason to get rid of them without my people suspecting a thing. I thought everything was going so well until she went missing,again! My mate was seriously driving me crazy, I am doing all of this for us and our safety. With my pack starting to rise as the biggest pack in the world,we will be safe.Our kind is rare,hybrids and people will be after us. She is so naive,she doesn't understand the kind of danger she is in or the kind of danger our baby will be in once she is born.Even in this pack we will never really be safe but at least I will have some kind of control.
"Yes Alpha we will do that but the people will not be happy about us budging into their houses" Flint said lowly.
I growled,my patience was very low "Kill anyone that resists,taking the Alpha's mate is treason!I will not stand for such kind of treachery ,go now and find her.Take the best warriors with you."
They both nodded their heads,"We will find her,soon." Chris said before walking out and closing the door behind them.
I ran a hand through my hair in frustration.I will find her and kill whomever thought it was a great idea to her away from me in my own territory.
