Chapter 73
"Prisca, are you really sure about this...maybe we should call or let your mate know first" Fatima said holding my hands softly .I knew she was extra worried about me and the twins especially now that I was carrying double babies. However their safety depended on us figuring out who these threats where in order to get rid of them, I had to be strong, I had to do this.
I squeezed her hand softly "I can do this, trust me"
"she can draw on my energy, she will be fine." Shawn said kneeling in front of me.
We both looked at him in surprise. Selena smiled at him "Are you sure you can handle this?" she asked him a bit concerned.
He smiled "I can handle it besides she needs all the energy she can get right now."
"Okay then, are you both ready?" she asked moving her chair in front of us so she could sit closer.
"I am ready," I said nodding my head
Shawn nodded his head too meaning that he was ready as well, Selena looked at us both "take her hand" she said talking to Shawn.
I let Shawn take my hand, it was very warm and I felt a buzz. A different kind of buzz, not the warm tingling sensation I got whenever I held Jakes hand-this was different. It was like I could feel his magic humming to mine and it felt comfortable. It felt like we were family...my magic was dancing tingling in my veins ready to do something-anything. It felt awakened like a different kind of energy.
"okay, Priscilla I want you to close your eyes and listen to my voice. I want you to follow every word I say-can you do that?" she asked me carefully and I breathed in deeply.
"yes I can do that" I said closing my eyes.
She began to speak and I made sure I concentrated on her voice "I want you to search for something, search for something you need deeply. That one thing that makes you feel complete" she said softly. Her voice was different, it was in my head literally. She was in my head and I could hear her so close but I knew what she was doing. She wanted me to search for him, Jake. He was what I needed all the time, back then I would have refused but now it was simple. I needed him and he needed me. I searched for him, first I let my werewolf senses take over because it was always easier to use those.
My werewolf senses came to me naturally even when I didn't want to use them, they would just kick in automatically. So I let them kick in now, I searched for his scent. It was a bit distant ,he wasn't close but I would bring him closer- I used my magic to draw his scent to me...it was so weird in my head. It was like creating a map of some sort were his scent was like a road made of beautiful different colors.
"can you see it, can you find him?" I heard her voice again.
I hummed "yes Its so clear..."
"what is clear?" she asked softly
I squeezed Shawn's hand a bit I wanted to make sure I was still there in the physical world because in my head it felt like I was floating in a whole different dimension "The road that leads to him"
"Priscilla...I want you to follow that path that leads to him. The path that leads to what you need right now" she said and I was compelled to that path. Why did I need him so much all of a sudden, I suddenly craved him so badly so I did what that voice said. I followed the beautiful path and my heart skipped when I suddenly heard his voice. Jake, he was so close I wanted to open my eyes but I stopped when she told me to stop "Do not open your eyes Priscilla no matter what...remember you can see everything even without looking. You are the Hidden one ,your eyes are already open in both realms just look...you are not blind"
I breathed in deeply, I had to find a way of seeing him, I tried so badly but all I could hear was his voice "I cant see anything" I said a bit frustrated.
"yes you can, look harder. Listen first before opening your sight" she said softly.
I listened to his voice carefully. He sounded frustrated "We have enemies amongst us and we don't even know who they are. She was right it was a bad idea moving here. I thought a bigger pack meant a bigger family and more protection but instead it just turned out to be a bigger danger"
My heart dropped, I didn't want him to feel this way. He just did what he thought was right for us but sometimes life always takes a different turn. I wanted him to know this, I wanted to hold him and tell him everything would be okay...suddenly there was light. "I see him!" I said excitedly
"Relax Priscilla, breath in and out softly" Selena said in a very calm voice.
I did that but I kept my eyes on his beautiful face ...I breathed in and out softly until I felt calm. All of a sudden my excitement just faded away , I had a mission here and I do not think Jake was part of it. "Okay" I said softly holding Shawn's hand.
"Now I want you to search for it, a feeling that's foreign...a feeling that does not belong there. It surrounds him like a plague. Concentrate," she said
My mind suddenly became aware of my surroundings, there was Jake but who was Jake talking to. Why couldn't I see that persons face, who was it! He was in danger, I could feel it all around him and I did not like it -it was all wrong "He is surrounded by darkness, whoever he is talking to is dangerous. I need to get to him" I said and suddenly I had so much energy flowing within me before I knew it my voice was inside his head "GET OUT OF THERE NOW!"
My eyes snapped open and Shawn was just laying unconscious on the ground.
"what did I do?"
