Maurvi's POV



Why are you being so nice.. ?" Prachi asked Amit.

" I don't know... I just don't want to leave you alone like this. Let me drop you, please. " She nodded.

He slid into his car and went to drop her home.

I stopped myself from going after her. I know she would not talk to me right now but I wanted to be close to her. I attended my class though I kept thinking about her. I knew she was feeling extremely bad right now. After the class, I went to her place but she didn't even come out of her room saying she is not feeling well.

Her mom asked me what was wrong with her. I could not tell her anything. So I said that I didn't know anything.

I came back home still engrossed in my thoughts. I opened the door and was planning to change and sleep when Gautam called me on the phone.

" Hey Maurvi, where are you? come yaar we all are waiting for you. " Gautam said.

" Come where? Oh, I am sorry. It totally escaped my mind. I will come in 5 to 10 minutes. "

I washed my face and applied some lip color. Combed my hair again.

I was about to lock the door when Gautam came.

" Hey, what happened? I was just coming. " I said.

" Yes I know but they both needed 5 minutes to resolve a problem. So, I came out. "

" Oh, Ok !! " I smiled.

" What happened to you? "

" Nothing special... Prachi knows about Naman now but is still not talking to me. I am coming from her place. She didn't even talk to me. "

" How did she get to know about him?"

" I took help from someone. He gave all the proofs to Prachi. "

" Oh !! Good. Who helped you? "

" I asked Amit to get all the information about Naman and he did that in just 3 days. His friend's cousin had an affair with Naman earlier. "

" Ok, we will talk about this later on. Let's go, I am really excited about watching the movie.

" Yes, let's go... I really need to distract myself. " I said and we went to his place. We saw that Vikram was saying sorry to Sandhya.

She blushed beautifully. She just shook her head and started walking away from him. But Vikram pulled her into a circle of his arms.

" Hello, guys... can we come in, please??" Gautam asked from outside.

" Yes, you may. " Vikram smiled at us.

" Hi, How are you? " I asked them.

" We are good, how are you? " Vikram said to me and Sandhya hugged me.

" You must be hungry, let's have some food first. " Sandhya said and went to the kitchen. I also followed her.

Both of us came out with Vada pav. Vikram looked at Gautam and both of them burst out laughing.

" Ok, this time... Please tell me which one is spicy ?" I was surprised at what they were talking about.

Sandhya smiled and said, "None of these is spicy, take anyone. " Vikram picked up one and was about to bite it when Gautam snatched it and started eating. Why were they behaving like this?

" Sorry but I can't take a chance again..." Gautam said and they laughed. Sandhya explained to me how she gave an extra spicy Vada pav to Gautam as he was flirting with her. So, I came to know as to why they were behaving like this. I laughed at them.

I laughed at that but I felt a bit bad that he flirted with her. I should not have felt that way, but I did.

Gautam told me the movie options which were, comedy, horror, or action movie. and I said, "No other option? I don't want to see anyone. "

Like seriously??? There are so many good romantic movies but they would select action or horror.

" Please... yaar Maurvi, I swear, next time I would ask you in advance about your preference. Let's watch one of them. "

" Ok, let's see comedy... "

We all started watching the movie while eating awesome food. We all enjoyed watching the comedy movie but the movie was of very little duration. So the guys decided to watch the suspense horror movie.

What ??? No.....

" Hey, I can't watch that. I have had enough." I said and Sandhya also agreed with me.

" Don't be scared, we are here. " Gautam said with a smirk.

" We are not scared ok... I am very tired and want to sleep." I said.

" Please, let's watch this one... "

" No, I don't like horror movies. I really can't handle them. " Sandhya said.

" Let it be... It's ok, after all, you are girls and girls can't handle horror movies. All they like is mushy romantic movies. Can't even think about it. " Gautam teased us.

" Excuse me !!! What did you just say, Mr Doctor? Girls can handle horror movies. " I said glaring at him though I was really scared.

" Ok, I dare both of you to watch this movie with us. "

Was he trying to be funny? Was he serious? Did I seriously have a crush on him???

" Fine... " I said and then looked at Sandhya, she nodded hesitantly.

I hate you Gautam...

We started the movie and settled down on the couch in his home theatre.

Gautam switched off the lights and started his home theatre with surrounding sounds. Sandhya was sitting beside me with both of them on the sides... I was getting a bit tense as I was scared of horror movies. I started biting my lips. I closed my eyes for a minute and took a deep breath.

Gautam whispered,

" Hey Marvin, it is ok, I think you are scared. Let it be and forget about the dare. I know girls get scared while watching horror movies. " I looked at him. He was smirking at me and I glared at him.

" And for god sake stop biting your lips. You are distracting me." He whispered again.

This man is too much. Who gets distracted if someone else is biting her lips?? I am not biting his...

" What?? Why??? How is me biting my own lips, distracting you??? "

" Because... I wan... Forget it just please stop it. "

" No just explain it to me first please... "

" Ok, sweetheart you are my girlfriend and you can't be biting your lips... Please be my guest. " He whispered and winked at me with a smirk.

Did he just say that??? Did he just?? Oh God!!! He is... Ughh.

I picked up a cushion and threw it on him... I wanted to wipe that smirk off his face.

" Hey, Maurvi, stop it and watch the movie. Oh, I understand now you want to have an argument with me so that you can't concentrate on the movie. Now that is not fair..."

Just then I felt Sandhya flinched and jerked away with a shriek. Then she realized that Vikram touched her on her shoulder. She glared at him. He was grinning like an idiot.

" Aww, you got scared, darling... Here hold my hand... I will keep you safe. " Vikram said to Sandhya.

These guys were too bad. Having fun at our expense. It's ok, this movie will end soon.

" Maurvi you can stop watching if you want... " Vikram said to me with amusement in his eyes.

" No, I will prove it to this friend of yours that girls can handle anything." But I knew that I could not handle it.

I would not be able to sleep tonight. The worst thing was that I was alone in the entire house.

" See, I can't handle it anymore..." Sandhya was saying but I stopped her.

" Oh no Sandhya, Please don't... Otherwise, Mr. Doctor would say that he won. I will keep watching. Even if I am not very comfortable. " Said to Sandhya and she nodded.

It was really a very scary one. There was a scene when the evil spirit was standing right behind the female actor. I hid my face behind my hands.

I would surely need the help of Vikram after watching this movie as I will definitely have a heart attack.

Mr. Doctor was having no mercy on me. He came near to me and whispered, " Now that is not fair, beautiful. You said you will watch the movie. So remove your hands from your eyes. "

I am the biggest stupid of this world, for having a crush on this merciless man. He is a SATAN.

I glared at him and was taking a deep breath. He was trying to control his laughter.

" Don't worry, you can also hug me, my beautiful girlfriend. I won't mind at all. That ghost can't hurt you, I am here. "

I swear I have never had this acute desire to kill anyone to date.

I swear, I could kill him with my bare hands. I was so scared and he was grinning like a fool.

Oh, someone stop this movie or I am going to have nightmares. I am going to die of a heart attack and then I will become a ghost myself. I will haunt him forever, I would take revenge.
