Maurvi's POV



We all were ready in the morning. Uncle and aunty were surprised to see that Siddharth was also going and was quite excited about it.

" Sid, you are going to Vikram's wedding too? But you didn't say anything about it last night... " Aunty said.

" I had to meet a friend who is in Jodhpur these days so I thought that I must go to the wedding. " Siddharth said.

" Which friend? " Uncle asked him.

" A very new and dear friend dad... Right, Sid? " Gautam said and winked at Siddharth.

" Hmmm "

" Why am I getting this feeling that something is fishy? You are hiding something, Sid? " Dad asked him.

" No, dad... Vikram is my friend too. So I thought that I must go." Sid said and Gautam was trying to hide his smile.

" Ok ... Whatever. All of you please enjoy and take care of yourself and each other. Gautam you are responsible for both of them. Take care and do lots of shopping there. Kavita was telling me that Maurvi loves Bandhani so get her some sarees. She looks even prettier in saree. "

" Sure mom don't worry, I will take care of both of them and will do lots and lots of shopping. "

Aunty hugged all of us. And we slid into the car and we left for Jodhpur.

" So congratulations to both of you," Siddharth said all of a sudden.

" What for? " Gautam asked him.

" For getting engaged to each other. I saw you on your knees Bhai " he said and winked at Gautam.

" There is something called privacy... Ever heard about it? Idiot... always spying on us... What is your problem?" Gautam said to him but Sidd didn't bother he grinned.

" No problem at all. I had come to ask Maurvi about how many functions would be there as I wanted to pack. But then I saw you proposing her. It was cute Bhai... I am learning a few things from you... You certainly know how to charm girls. See.... you got Maurvi... I must take notes of what you do... " He winked again and I laughed.

" Shut up you brat.... "

" Oh ... Brat?? Look who is talking...." He said and I laughed. Gautam glared at both of us.

" By the way when did you get this ring and from where? " I asked him.

" Yesterday..... I went to Mehul's showroom to get it. "

" That means ... He knows about it now. "

" Yes... " He said and I blushed.

We had lunch on the way and reached Jodhpur finally.



Gautam's POV



We reached Vikram's place. Everyone else was already there.

I was very excited... as even Sagar would be here soon. I was excited to meet him after so long. Mehul had already told everyone about my roka and private engagement. They all were teasing me.

" Gautam you are so whipped man that you could not wait for even 3 months... Had the engagement secretly. " Mehul said and everyone laughed.

They did not know about the holi incident as they had already left that day so none of us talked about it.

" Hey, you are forgetting that we are here for Vikram's wedding... Tease him not me.." I said but they all burst out laughing.

" No, you have teased us a lot... You even proposed my wife.... "

" But that was your fault... You should have told us that she was your wife... You said she was just a family friend. " I said looking at Maurvi.

She looked a bit uncomfortable. Oh God, how would she feel about it... Earlier we were just faking it but now... I have to talk to her.

Just then we saw Vidhi and Shruti coming with so many bags in their hands. I looked at Sid his face lit up to see Shruti. Vikram asked Vidhi to help Maurvi and show her to her room. She smiled and went with her. Sid also went after them carrying Maurvi's bag.

" He is officially a member of OPH club now... He is so obsessed with her... " Vikram was saying and they all laughed. Just then I saw Sagar coming towards us.

I ran towards him and hugged him. He was here finally... Everyone came rushing and hugged him.

" Thank God you have come... Haven't seen you for so long." I said.

" Vikram is getting married... I had to come... Missed you guys so much... "

" Why were you away for so many days. What are you doing these days?" Rahul asked.

" I was in Chandigarh... As you all know Sahil and I started a new construction company with his friend Samar. So I was working there... " Sagar smiled faintly.

He smiled but looked a bit in pain. But why?? When he had come for Mehul's showroom inauguration party, he was very happy as Mehul told us.

" Sagar how about her?? You said you found her... Where is she?" Vikram asked.

" Let's not talk about it... We all are here after such a long time... Let's enjoy this time... I am so happy for you Vikram.. so when do I get to meet Sandhya? "

" Very soon but you can meet someone right now... You know our Gautam is getting married in 3 months... They had an instant Roka ceremony day before yesterday and yesterday he slid a ring in her hand and had a private engagement. "

" What?? Wow!! Congratulations Gautam !! Who is the unlucky girl? Can I meet her? Hey, but what was the hurry. You had a Roka ceremony then why that private engagement? "

" I was sick chasing away those silly guys who were trying to woo her. I literally had to become her bodyguard to keep them away. So I put an engagement ring on her finger. So at least some of them would keep away. I would take care of the rest. " I said and all of them burst out laughing.

" So can I meet her? "

" Of course she would love to meet you."

" Arre Sagar she is an amazing girl... I am still amazed at how did he get so lucky to have her in his life... " Rahul said.

" Ok can I meet her now? " he said and I nodded.

I called her on the phone as she was in her room. I told her to come where all of us were. She said she would come in 5 minutes.

They were teasing Vikram now when she came. Mehul said,

" Hey look here she is... "

" Oh hi, beautiful !! How are you? " Sagar said to her in his full flirting mode.

" I am very good, how are you ? " she smiled nicely.

" What?? you are getting married to Gautam and still, you are saying that you are good, pretty girl?? " He was using his charm.

" That is exactly why I am saying it. " She gave a very confident answer with a smile. Awww I love her...

" C'mon yaar you are so pretty ... You can marry anyone in the country... Why him? "

" Maybe....but I have eyes only for him since I was practically a child... So I don't care even if Mr Universe wants to marry me. I only want to get married to him. " She said looking into my eyes.

" Are you sure? " Sagar tried again.

" As sure as I can ever be..."

" Can I take you on a date and try to change your decision? I am also unmarried till now... "

" I think you should persuade him first that he lets me go on date with anyone. "

" I don't want my handsome face to turn blue or purple. But you can tell him that you want to go on a date with me.. "

" A little suggestion..... He has threatened men that he would kill them for much less than this. If anyone flirts with me...he beats him to pulp Sagar Ji..."

" How did you know I am Sagar? I didn't say my name? "

" He must love you too much for not attacking you till now. And I have met all his friends except you Sagar Ji. So I will go on a date, if only you invite him as well.."

" I am impressed..... She is too good. Where did you find this rare gem Gautam? " he asked me and I grinned and snaked my arm around her waist and pulled her into me.

" She is a mind reader at times and is so good at acting... And don't go by her dainty looks... She can be dynamite. You should have seen her handling a tough situation like a pro. I must say Gautam is really lucky." Vikram told Sagar and I was grinning like anything.

" I am very happy for both of you. " Sagar hugged her lightly and then gave me a man hug.

I need to talk to him, he is really sad.
