Gautam's POV



She looked in my direction and smiled and my heart jumped in my chest I caught Vikram's hand and he smiled and patted on my back.

" I know how you are feeling right now... Keep your hand on your heart. I can hear it beating even without a stethoscope. "

She reached me in eternity... Thanks to all the people for speaking with her on the way. I gave her a beautiful bunch of flowers. She took them, looked at me shyly and thanked me. I wanted to take her in arms... This is not fair as it is... She can't look so pretty and then expect me to not even have her in my arms.

Our parents came and then Noopur came with a beautiful tray with our rings on that. Maurvi was wearing the ring, which I gave earlier, on another finger.

I picked up the ring and held her left hand and slid the ring in her long beautiful fingers. I kept looking at her all the time. Her face was glowing as if she was an angel. Everyone clapped around us.

Then she slid the ring in my finger too. My friends whistled and they again teased us and she turned into tomato again. Here I was sitting with my tomato who was officially just my tomato only. Everyone was coming to meet and congratulate us.

Noopur hugged her and then me. She was looking very pretty. " Someone is looking very beautiful... Where is that lucky man for whom you took this effort? " I asked her and she blushed to become red.

Ok.. so it runs in the family.....

" He would be here any minute... He was in Hyderabad. His flight got delayed. He is almost here. "

" So now your line is cleared. " I teased her...

" Hmm, thanks for that. " She said and saw Kshitij entering the hall and her face lit up. She excused herself and went to him. We both smiled. Finally, we were alone.

" Hi tomato"

" Hi.."

" You are looking beautiful... "

" Thanks ...you are also looking very handsome. "

" So do you mind giving me my dues?"

" What?? What dues? "

" The one we discussed yesterday..... remember I cured your laughter fit at least thrice and you did not give me my fees... On top of that, you found my treatment very funny so, you are under my debt. Now pay dues and entertainment tax. " I said and she turned even redder.

" Ok, I will give it to you later on... "

" You need to clear all your dues today itself. " I came very close to her. Her eyes became wide and she pushed me back and I laughed.

" What did you tell my mom yesterday? She let you meet me immediately.... "

" Oh, I just said that you fainted on holi because of not eating properly and you were stressed because of the engagement. So it might happen again. I told her that I have to check and she let me. " I smiled and she shook her head and smiled.

"Can you call Siddharth? " She said all of a sudden.

" What?? Why?? just now people left us alone... And you want me to call him? "

" I have a surprise for him.. "

" Now I am angry... You should have surprised me not him. "

" Please can you stop this drama and call him. Look at the entrance and you will be surprised as well. "

I looked in that direction and an instant smile came on my face. I called Sid and put the phone on speaker. He picked up the phone.

Maurvi said, " Siddharth can you please go to the entrance of the hall. There is a guest, can you please bring her to us. "

" Ok... but who is it? How would I know whom you are talking about?

" Just go there..you can't miss her. She doesn't know many people here. Please I can't go myself."

" Ok... " Sid said and disconnected and went towards the entrance. She smiled mischievously. I loved that smile.



Maurvi's POV



I excused myself and went to where aunty was. She saw me coming towards her and she smiled. I asked her if she could spare a minute. She came aside with me.

" Aunty... can you see that girl in that pink coloured dress near the entrance with Siddharth? "

" Yes... What about her? And call me mom... "

" Mom... She... I mean Siddharth really likes her... You know what I mean.. ?"

" Seriously?? " She asked me her eyebrows were almost meeting her hairline. I just nodded. She kissed me on my cheek.

" Will you introduce her to us?"

" Sure I asked Siddharth to bring her to me please can you please come with uncle..? "

" Yes but. I will come with your Dad.. not uncle.. " she smiled and left. I came back to where Gautam was.

" What are you up to? What did you say to mom? "

" I will explain everything to you. later on. For now, just enjoy it. "

" Why is he taking so long to bring her here.. " he asked.

" Buying some more time with her... Your brother is an expert in that.. he knows how to spend more time with her even if she is not talking to him ." I smiled.

Just then uncle and aunty came to us. I saw Shruti and Siddharth coming our way and requested uncle to not look very excited. As he got super excited when he met me as his girlfriend. I didn't want her to get scared with uncle's over-friendly behaviour.

She came to us with Siddharth and congratulated both of us and then hugged me. Siddharth was standing behind her and he mouthed Thank you to me and I winked at him. He was grinning like an idiot. A very sweet idiot.

" Thank you so much, Shruti. I am so glad that you came. Shruti let me introduce you to my family formally.

You have already met my fiance, Gautam and his brother Siddharth. Mom and dad, she is Shruti. She is in the same medical College as Siddharth. And Shruti they are Gautam's parents.

She got a bit conscious and said hello to them. They smiled at her and aunty asked her to come and have some food. She asked Shruti about her and her family, parents etc.

" You know what ?? You are the best... " Said Siddharth and hugged me.

" Even better than Shruti??? " I asked wiggling my eyebrows. Siddharth scratched the back of his neck and blushed a bit. Uncle and Gautam burst out laughing. He went away to look for Shruti. Uncle shook his head and went away.

Then after a few moments, my maternal aunt came to meet us and I told her about Amit and Prachi and told her that Amit is really serious about her. So much so that he started taking his work seriously and changed a lot just because he was in love with her. Maasi was so excited to know about it. She went to look for Amit and Prachi.

Was I turning into a matchmaker ??

My relatives came, everyone wanted to meet him. Gautam talked with them and they all loved him and got their pictures clicked. My parents introduced Gautam to many people. Same ways uncle and aunty introduced me to many people.

Noopur and Kshitij also came. Kshitij hugged me and then shook hands with Gautam.

" Thank God you both are engaged and getting married soon... At least now we will also get married. "

" Why don't you get married on the same day we are marrying? What do you say? You know Maurvi has become a matchmaker... She can talk to her parents." Gautam said with a killer smile. I laughed at that.

" We can't take leaves right now and Noopur is on training do not possible just now but at least her dad can't say that we have to get Maurvi married first. " Kshitij said with a smile. He congratulated both of us and then they went away.

His friends were teasing Vikram and Sandhya as they were just back from their honeymoon. Sandhya was turning red with every passing minute. They were going to tease us well.

I wanted to drink something so I told one of my cousins to get something for me. The waiter came with it. I picking up a glass and was about to take a sip of it. when all of a sudden my bangle got stuck somewhere and a bit of the juice spilt on my dress. Oh my god, I am so clumsy. I got up and excused myself to go back to my room to clean the stain.
