Chapter 34

Maurvi's POV



He was Siddharth, my another neighbour, Dr. Siddharth Jindal. Gautam's younger brother. He was as good looking and his brother. He used to flirt with me a bit, but I never took him seriously.

I went to his place and rang his doorbell but he did not open the door. His car and bike were there so that means he is inside only. I rang the bell again but again he did not open the door. Is he still sleeping? Is he not well?? I was getting paranoid. I rushed back to my home to fetch the keys of his home.

I used the keys to open his main door and went inside. I went to his room but he was not there. Before I could come out of his room, the door of his bathroom opened and he came out with just a towel tied around his waist. I was so shocked to see him like that. I could not even react. I wanted to run away but could not even move a muscle. He was initially shocked to see me there but then he smiled at my state of shock. My eyes travelling from his face to his solid chest and then to his well defined abs .

Oh god... He must have been taking shower that's why he did not pick up the phone or open the door.

I forgot why I had come looking for him. My mouth opened and closed and then again opened and closed but words did not come out. I must have been looking like a fish.

" Hey Maurvi, I hope you are liking what you are ogling at. " He said with a devilish smile.

Oh my God!!!! What was I doing? I turned immediately and now my back was facing him. He chuckled at that.

" It is ok with me, you can watch me if you want. "

" No thanks... I was just shocked for a minute. "

" Really?? But why? " I felt him coming closer to me. He was standing right behind me. I was getting nervous. I moved a bit.

" I... You... Didn't pick up the... phone. Doorbell... I pressed.... You... I mean..."

" It's ok sweetheart take it easy and tell me. " He whispered near my shoulder and I took a step forward to get away from him as soon as possible. But my foot got entangled with the furry black rug lying on the floor. I lost my balance and was about to fall on it, when two very strong arms caught me just in time.

I stood there in his arms for a minute, I took a deep breath while my whole body was shivering. I closed my eyes in panic.

He released me from his arms and turned me to face him.

" Open your eyes, beautiful and tell me what happened? "

I opened my eyes and saw that he was wearing a loose T-shirt now.

" Actually, Siddharth called you, but you... were not answering so he called me to give you a message. "

" What message? " He asked in his husky voice. I was still not normal and knew that I looked flushed.

" He is coming today and asked you to pick him up. " I gave him the flight details.

" Ok, but were you worried about me, as you rang the bell but I did not open the door ? "

he was behaving differently today. But why?? What has changed?? Why is he behaving in a more romantic way?

" Oh, come on tomato, say something. Why did you panic? Were you trying to be my knight in the shining armour again? Do you like me so much? "

" I... I... I need to go. " I said and started walking again but he called my name and I stopped. He again walked towards me and stood behind me. He bent a bit towards me and his hot breath tickled my neck.

" Thanks for panicking and coming for my rescue my beautiful knight. Will you come with me to pick him up? " He whispered near my ear.

Why does he whisper like that?? Can't he speaks properly from a distance. I started getting some weird sensations in my body.

" Maurvi? "

" Oh ok yes, I am free so I can come. " I said and ran away. I could hear him chuckling.

What is wrong with him today?? He was in a flirty mode. God !! Please tell him to stop. I am already head over heels in love with him. He is too good for me. What would happen if he finds someone with whom he would love to spend his life? I would not be able to live.

I went to my college and gave my practical exam. My mind was drifting towards my favourite doctor. He was behaving as if he was my boyfriend for real.

It was 4 PM when I got back from my college. I took a quick shower and got ready.

He came back around 4:30 and we left for the airport.

He parked the car in the parking and we went inside. We saw him coming. He was as good looking as his brother. He came towards us and hugged Gautam. Then he saw me and looked shocked.

" Hey bhai, who is this beautiful girl? Don't tell me you are the same girl who used to live next door?? " I nodded. He was exactly like uncle...

" The very same one." I said.

" Oh my God !! Someone has become very beautiful... Hey !! beautiful will you be my.... ? "



" No, She will not. " Gautam said before Siddharth could finish his sentence.
