Maurvi's POV

Prachi was talking to Gautam with a smile and Gautam was smiling back and here my dear brother was going to have a heart attack.

Amit asked Noopur, " Is he not the doctor who lives next door to you? "

" Yes, he is... He is so good."

" What is so good about him?? Just a plain doctor. Why is he here? " Noopur And I exchanged the looks and we smiled as we knew he was jealous as Prachi was talking to him so lovingly.

Gautam came and smiled at me. He looked at Amit. I introduced them. " He is our brother, Amit and Amit, he is Dr. Gautam, you have already met him and he is Siddharth. I mean Dr. Siddharth, younger brother of Dr. Gautam. " They all shaked hands.

" Why is this Dr Gautam here?" Amit asked me in a whispering tone.

" What do you mean? I told you... " The doorbell rang again.

Gautam opened the door and Kshitij came in and hugged me and of course Noopur, a bit longer, Noopur was smiling like anything. He waved at every one else and again shifted his attention towards her and our over protective brother started fuming again. He saw that Kshitij was still holding her in his arms.

He went near Noopur and Kshitij and held her hand to pull her out of Kshitij's arms and dragged her away.

" Enough of all this. Why are all these guys hugging all of you?"

" What?? " Noopur looked shocked.

" Which part of the question, you did not understand? I asked why are all these guys hugging all of you? " he was looking like a fighting bull ready to hit someone.

" Amit, we already told you that we are going to call those guys.."

" Hey, what is your problem man? How dare you touch her and drag her like that? " Kshitij came forward and was irritated as hell.

" Oh, shut up and stay away from her." Amit glared at him.

" I stay away from her??? But why? Who are you to say that? You stay away. leave her hand right now!! How dare you, she is mine. " They were standing face to face glaring at each other.

" Cool down Kshitij, he is our brother, Amit. And Amit please calm down he is her boyfriend." I came between both of them.

" Boyfriend??? But you said that you are going to invite the guys you like. "

" So we like each other... " Noopur said.

" Shut up, Noopur !! I will talk to you later. And you Mr Kshitij, Just don't you dare to touch my sister or I will break your jaw. Do you know her father will kill you if he gets to know about this? "

" Hello Mr Brother, I am way more fit than you. I can break your jaw as well, but as you are her brother, I will not do that. Her father as well as mother knows about this, Us. I already have the permission to court her. We are going to get married as soon as Maurvi gets married. So don't stress your cute little brain my dear brother in-law. "

" What?? Uncle and aunty know about it? Why am I not aware of it? "

" We called all of you, so that you can meet each other. " I said with a smile.

" Then why is this, Dr Gautam here? Don't you think he should not be here and why was he hugging Prachi? Don't you think he is out of the place? He is too old to be flirting with Prachi. Why did you have to call him? He is smiling like anything at her. " He was looking green with jealousy.

" What? No Amit... " Prachi spoke for the first time.

" Listen Prachi, Just stay out of it. I will get back to you. "

" But you are getting it all wrong. " Prachi said.

" Oh please, Don't be so naive Prachi. You are too naive and gullible. You must stay away from such guys. They are like this, look very decent. I will not let you fall for such a guy this time. " Noopur and I were trying to control our laughter.

" What?? What did you just say? " Gautam was coming towards us now.

" Amit, you seemed to be a bit confused here... " Noopur started saying but both the guys were irritated.

" Shut up, Noopur!!! Let me talk to him. He can't flirt with Prachi like this."

" Are you out of your mind Amit? He is not flirting with her. " I said to him. But he turned towards Gautam furiously.

" Why are you here? They invited the guys they like, so why did you come along with your brother? "

" Now, from where does my brother come in this? " Gautam looked confused.

" Amit, will you please shut up for a minute? He is here because I called him. I wanted him to meet you. He is Dr Gautam, he is my boyfriend, not his brother. " I almost shouted.

" What? He is your boyfriend ? You too have a boyfriend?? When did this happen? Why are both of you hell bent to give me a heart attack? Tell me it is a dream... A bad dream. " Amit was really angry.

" Sorry, it is not a dream, my dear would be , brother-in-law. I am her boyfriend and she is my girlfriend." Gautam said to him and went very close to him and caught his hand and they both went to another room, I followed them.

" I was not flirting with Prachi. I can't even think about it. She is like a younger sister to me. In fact she just called me Gautam bhaiya while hugging me. Trust me, I am head over heels in love with your sister. Moreover I know how you feel about Prachi. So, I can understand why you are angry. I have been through that. Come on man just tell her about feelings. " Gautam said to him in a low tone and winked.

" You... Prachi... She calls you bhaiya? How does she know you? How come she is so fond of you? "

" Yes... and she is like my sister. She knows me as I am Maurvi's boyfriend. She is so fond of me because I helped Maurvi to make her understand that Naman was not a good man but she was not convinced and got really annoyed with us. But I threatened Naman and forced the institute to transfer him to another branch to keep him away from both of the girls. She shouted at me and called me things... But when you showed her the proofs, she came and apologized and since then she calls me as bhaiya. Amit, I love only your sister. My parents are coming back, day after tomorrow and I am going to talk to them about us. Trust me they will be delighted to know that. They already love her. Don't worry bro, very soon you will attend our engagement. Now go and sweep your girl off her feet. " He patted on Amit's back. Amit smiled sheepishly and then both of them smiled. Thank God.

We all came back where everyone was and enjoyed the food.

" I loved all this misunderstanding. It was hilarious. Your brother thought that I was your boyfriend? See I look good enough for you while my brother looks like an old man. Maurvi, you can still change your decision if you want. " Siddharth winked at me.

I threw a cushion at him and Gautam hit him on his back. Siddharth was laughing like a lunatic. Amit started glaring at him. Sid mouthed sorry at him.

Amit said sorry to Kshitij and Gautam and we all hugged him. It was an enjoyable dinner.

Amit asked us, " Who will come to the market with me to get the ice-creams for everyone."

But no one was ready to go. So he said, " I can't go to the market alone. "

" Why are you scared to go to the market alone? " I teased him.

" Shut up !!! " he glared at me.

" It is boring to go alone... "

Everyone refused to go with him and winked at him. Only Prachi was left. So he said, " Prachi can you come with me please. " She blushed a bit and looked at me. I nodded and winked. She blushed more and nodded.

Amit smiled as if he just won a lottery. They both went out to get Icecreams. We all kept chatting and laughing at the misunderstanding.
