Maurvi's POV



I wanted to drink something so I told one of my cousins to get something for me. The waiter came with it. I picking up a glass and was about to take a sip of it. when all of a sudden my bangle got stuck somewhere and a bit of the juice spilt on my dress. Oh my god, I am so clumsy. I got up and excused myself to go back to my room to clean the stain.

I wanted to take someone with me, but Prachi was with Amit, talking to his parents. I didn't want to disturb them. Mom was with guests... So I saw Noopur but she was also with Kshitij so I decided to go to our room alone. As it is, it was a matter of a few minutes.

I went to the washroom of that room to clean the stain away. I washed it with the help of water, handwash and tissue. The stain was removed but my dress was still wet. I looked for my hairdryer in my stuff and started drying that wet spot on my dress.

I was so engrossed in it that, I shrieked when I felt someone standing behind me. He shut my mouth with his hand and pulled me in his arms. My back was plastered to his front. I was so scared that I was about to faint.

Just then I heard him whispering, " Calm down my tomato... " I released the breath that was caught in my lungs. I didn't even realise that I was holding my breath.

" You? What are you doing here? You know I almost died just now. I got so scared..." I tried to get away from his arms. But he tightened them around me.

" I came to take care of you. You know... in case you need any help. I couldn't leave you alone... I have taken your responsibility from your dad... do you want me to help you remove anything? "

" Just remove your hands from me. "

" No honey... Not before you pay your debts... "

" What?? Are you out of your mind?? Gautam, please someone might come... Please just leave me and go. "

" No... I will not leave till you clear your dues... "

" Please, someone might come... Please go.. "

" No... I don't care... "

" But I do care.... "

" That's your problem honey... Pay my dues back.... and I will go away."

" From next time... I will consult another doctor.. "

" Over my dead body... Don't even think about it... I will cure all your ailments for the rest of our lives. "

He walked with me in his arms and brought us in front of the mirror. My heart was racing and beating crazily.

He looked at me in the mirror and I looked at him... He had a different kind of expression in his eyes.. he kissed on my neck just below my ear and then trailed kissed on my neck till my collar bone. I gasped loudly.

He smiled and his hands snaked around my bare midriff. My body shuddered with pleasure. I knew my cheeks were as red as the red colour itself.

" Gautam please.... "

" Hmmm please, what?? You want me to go on...?? " he said trailing feather-like kisses on my neck.

" Umm ... No... Stop please someone might come looking for us... There are so many guests here.. it will not look good. "

" Ok... But tell me that you liked, what I was doing to you..."

" Umm... Ok, I liked it... Now go... "

" Wait a minute darling... So promise me that we would continue it from where we left... And you would give me kisses as the due amount of the treatment I gave. "

" This is just too much... I will not.. "

" You know I am enjoying having you in my arms here. I won't mind standing here for the whole day... Your skin is so soft... I would love to kiss every inch.... "

" Please stop... I will give you kisses later on... "

" When. ?? And how many?? "

" Two, later on... "

" Forget it, I am enjoying a lot."

" Ok, four... "

" Twenty !! Then only I will let you go now. "

" Now you are being unreasonable... " I was glaring at him and he was grinning.

" You should have asked the consultation fee beforehand..."

" Your fee is too high, I will find another doc.. "

" Don't even dare to complete that sentence. Ok!!! As you are my fiance and neighbour... I will give you a discount. Give me 15... "

" You are a Satan ... I hate you... Let me go, someone will come."

" I love you... And as you just said that you hate me... I must show you that you don't. Ever since I saw you today... coming towards me, I have been wanting to have in my arms and kiss you senseless till both of us are breathless. C'mon yaar you are looking so pretty all I want is to have you in my arms and kiss you... "

He inched closer to me and placed his lips on mine. It was an urgent and sensuous kiss. A moan escaped my throat as he tightened his arms around me and deepened the kiss. I was lost in that kiss. And would lie if I say that I did not like it.

There was a knock on the door. I gasped and he broke the contact between our lips. I was a bit scared as now we would be caught like that...

" Maurvi are you there? Open the door... Are you all right? " It was Noopur. Thank God !! But was she alone?? Or there were others too.

" Just a minute Noopur. " I said and told Gautam to hide. He was still smiling. Idiot... Satan.... He loves to tease me.

He went to the washroom and I opened the door.. Thank god she was alone.

" What are you doing here alone? You should have called me or someone... What happened? "

" Some juice got spilt on my dress. I had to clean it... You were with Kshitij so I... "

" How stupid... You should have told me... Do you need any help? Why is your face so red? Are you feeling hot?"

" I am fine let's go.. "

" No... I need to use the washroom."

" What? No!!! "

" Why?? I need to go... Why are you behaving like this? You look so tensed... shall I call Jiju? "

" No... I am fine... " But the phone rang in the washroom, as she had already dialled his number. She looked at me in confusion and I was so embarrassed that I closed my eyes.

I heard her chuckling and opened my eyes. Gautam was also in the room now. He was blushing too.

" Oh... Now I understand everything... Can I use the washroom? Buy the way, Jiju... That shade of lipstick suits you as well. At least I like it but your friends may not... So wipe it off before going out and please leave. She will come with me. " she said with a smile. Gautam rubbed his hand at the back of his neck and smiled shyly at me and went out.

" What was that? " Noopur asked.

' I was cleaning the stain and all of a sudden he came in and... "

" Kissed you....? " She was smirking. I blushed and then after she used the washroom we both went back to the party.

He was sitting right there.... where we were sitting earlier. He looked so innocent sitting there waiting for his fiance. Kshitij and Amit were there with him. I went there and took my seat beside him.

Amit smiled at me and asked, " So you have been doing some matchmaking these days... It seems you talked to mom about Prachi." I smiled at that.

" So what happened?"

" She asked me to introduce Prachi to her and I did... She liked her a lot. Thanks " Amit said.

" Oh... So now you will say thanks to me? If you do it again, I will tell her not to go ahead with this. " I threatened him and he raised his hands in surrender. Everyone laughed.

We were called for lunch... We all had food. The atmosphere of the party was just so pleasant. Everyone looked so happy and contented with their loved ones. The day was filled with excitement, love, laughter and teasing of our near and dear ones.
