Gautam's POV


I came to the hospital and went to the lab for conducting the scans and tests. I finished my work and was going to my cabin to get my stuff. Sandhya was leaving for Jodhpur in a day, so it was her last working day before her marriage with Vikram, so I thought of meeting both of them before she leaves for Jodhpur.

I was going towards Vikram's cabin when I saw Sandhya coming out of a ward after taking her rounds. She was going towards cafeteria.

I went to meet her. " Hello Sandhya, how are you ? " I said and she turned towards me and smiled.

" I am good, how are you, Gautam ji? How is Maurvi now? I came to know about that incident on Holi. I hope she is fine now. I came to know about it, I wanted to be with her but Vikram said that we must not talk about it as she feels bad talking about it."

" Well yes... she starts crying whenever I ask her about the incident. she hasn't told me, what exactly did Aakash say to her that day. "

" Oh ... ok. "

So are you going to Jodhpur tomorrow ? Excited about it? " I asked and she blushed a bit.

" Well, I am looking forward to it but I didn't want to go away so soon, but my parents are very adamant they want me to come at least one week before marriage because there are going to be many rituals and functions. "

" Yes, I understand... "

" So when will you all be coming? " she asked.

" We will come at least three days before your marriage. ' I said and she smiled shyly.

" You have to bring Maurvi with yourself. "

" Of course, I will. She would love to come for the wedding... " I was saying when someone interrupted me.

" Oh wow!!! This could not get better. So now Dr Gautam is flirting with his friend's fiance. Does your cute little girlfriend know that you are flirting with Sandhya? I guess it would not matter to her as she kept flirting with you, your brother and your friends. Or is it just normal in your group to flirt with your friend's girlfriend or fiance? " I was shocked to hear that and turned to see Aditi coming towards us.

Sandhya was so shocked to hear it. She slapped Aditi very hard.

" How dare you?? " Aditi shouted at Sandhya. She tried to slap her back but I caught her hand.

" How dare I ? How dare you, Aditi? How can you say such a thing about her..... oh yes, of course you can, as you keep flirting with everyone. But we are not like you. " Sandhya said..

I was shocked at what Aditi was saying. Aditi said to me , " You all are alike.... your girlfriend was flirting with all your friends. We all saw that. Forget about friends, she was even flirting with your own brother. And just see both the brothers were ready to kill poor Aakash for talking to her. By the way Aakash, what did she say, which of the brothers is better? " Aditi spitted fire. She looked over my shoulder and I turned to see, Aakash coming towards me... I just could not control myself and I went to him and punched him hard.

" How dare you touch my Maurvi? How dare you talk to her like that? You were punched by both the brothers... Why don't you tell me which one is better. " I kept punching him, he tried to fight with me. But could not stand in front of me even for 5 mins.

Aditi told me to stop or they would take action. I glared at her and she went out of that room.

Sandhya must have called Vikram as he came running and caught me by hugging me and dragging me away from him with the help of Dr. Chirag and Dr. Ajay was holding Aakash.

" What are you doing Gautam please stop. Calm down.... " Vikram was holding me very tight. I tried to push him but Dr. Chirag was also holding me.

" Calm down???? Have you lost your mind Vikram... He and Aditi were talking shit about all of us... she was... She was... "

" I know, just be calm please... "

" I want to kill that bastard... "

" Enough of this Gautam... they are doing it deliberately to instigate you. Don't react. Please... They want a reaction out of you. Please control. "

I could understand now, why was she not telling me? She didn't want me to fight with him. But how can I not react?? For god's sake, I love her. What else did he say to her ??

Just then I saw Sid and Maurvi running towards us. What were they doing here? They both looked so tense and concerned.

Yet, she looked so pretty today. If I had seen her like this in another situation, I swear I would have gone crazy. But right now, the situation was different.

" What are two of you doing here? " I asked them.

" Ha!!! You are beating people for speaking the truth. See your girlfriend is with your brother while you are working here in the hospital. hence proved... she is roaming around the city without you knowing about it. So, can we ask that from her now? " Aakash said and started smirking. I rushed towards him but Vikram and Chirag held me more tightly.

Sid heard that and looked so furious. He looked as if he was ready to kill.

" What? Just shut up or I will break every single bone in your body? How dare you say that about her. She is my sister, you bastard. I will kill you... " Sid was about to reach him when Vikram stopped him. He dragged him outside.

I looked at Maurvi and saw her going towards Aakash and slapped him really hard.

" You are such a cheap man. I think your mom forgot to teach you about normal healthy relationships between people and the way to behave with women. You know just one type of relationship a man and a woman can have. How pathetic and sick you are. What do you think of yourself? You want to complain against him? In fact, now I will file a complaint against you. You misbehaved with me and touched me in the most improper way. I hope you remember every single nasty word you said to me... Because I do. You used dirty language which comes under molestation.... You are a doctor, that means your parents must have spent a fortune on you to make you a doctor, what will happen if I file a complaint against you? Your whole career will be ruined due to the charges. I have witnesses to prove my point. For your kind information, I had just dialed some number that day just before you tried to force yourself upon me and it reached the voicemail. So everything you said at that time is recorded . I can give the proof very easily. My brother or brother-in-law or my fiance can definitely beat you in self defence. " She was glaring at him. I was shocked to see her like that.

What??? She has a recording of the conversation??

" If you are still planning to call police, please don't bother. I will do it for you. But there is a very small suggestion for you. Take it.... It is free of cost. Do you know Aakash, My father as well as his parents are high profile government officials. We can handle this case very easily and as it is, you are already in soup as I have the proofs. It will just take a simple phone call to ruin your whole career. I will call the police and give the proofs and you will be behind the bars. A single phone call.... and my brother-in-law will be here with his colleague who happens to be the SP of this area. Our parents will take care of the rest. That day you said that if I give you a chance, you will make me scream your name at the top of my voice, right ?? I was awestruck by the way she talked to him. Is she my tomato?? She was looking like a red hot maxican chilli...
