Maurvi's POV



I wore the saree he told me to wear. I got ready in time and wore the earrings he gave me as a gift.

He came as soon as uncle, aunty and Siddharth left for dinner. He looked at me with so much love that I wanted to throw myself in his arms and get lost in his warmth. It seemed that he was rooted to the ground. I cleared my throat and he blushed a bit.

He came towards me with a strange expression on his face. I walked backwards he caught my hand and pulled me in his arms and caressed my face with his fingers, looking into my eyes. Then his other hand went around my waist and he touched me on my midriff which was bare because of the saree. I shuddered a bit and he smiled and bent to kiss at the base of my neck where the neck meets the shoulder blades. I shuddered again. I literally started shivering.

" What happened sweetheart? Are you getting uncomfortable ? " he asked in a low husky voice.

" Err... yes... a bit. Actually, I belong to the old school of views and somehow, I feel it's wrong to indulge in such pleasures before we are married.

He smiled and kissed the top of my head and said, " But, whenever you are near me I can't control myself. Ok, fine... I will try to control myself. But promise me to kiss me every day. "

" I will kiss you then. " he said looking into my eyes.

" No... " I said but he smiled.

" Let's go before, I change my mind. By the way, how soon do you want to get married? " He said looking at me. I blushed a bit as I could hear the unsaid question?

" Oh, it is from the hospital... I have to take a call. " He was talking but he had to go out due to network issues.

Aunty must have seen me, she looked surprised. She called me to come to the table. But I was too nervous to go alone. She got up from her seat and came to me.

" Oh my god, beta... You are looking beautiful, awesome, so pretty. I almost didn't recognise you. Where did you go wearing this? " She hugged me and then caught my hand and took me to our table.

" I just saw a very pretty girl standing there, though I could not see the face and thought that it may be the girl Gautam was talking about. But then I realised that it was you. I must say, you are looking out of this world." Aunty said

I did not know what to say so I stood there with a faint smile. Uncle and Siddharth were also looking at me with an amazing smile.

" You are looking very different beta.." said the uncle.

Just then Gautam came to the table and stood by me. Aunty looked at him and asked him before he could even open her mouth, " Hey, thank God you are here, we were waiting for you. See Gautam, Maurvi is looking so pretty... by the way... where is that someone special you wanted us to meet. " Gautam looked at me and caught my hand in his and looked into his mom's eyes.

" Mom, she is standing right in front of you. Maurvi is that girl. Mom, we have fallen in love with each other and want to spend our life together. "

" Don't even talk to me. Oh God, can we go home please I want to start planning the wedding? No, first of all I have to call your parents... "

" Calm down... Mom let's have dinner first. She has not told her parents yet. " Gautam said and smiled.
