Maurvi's POV


Amit and Prachi came back after an hour with Prachi, almost red in colour and Amit like someone who was not able to hide his excitement.

I teased him , " What took you so long for getting ice-creams. Did you personally prepared them ? " Amit smiled a bit and then scratched the back of his neck. A hint of red hue came on his face.

Awww... he was blushing.

" Sorry for being late, but I found someone today, while buying ice-creams. " he said with a smile. Everyone was looking at him with surprise.

" Whom did you find? " Noopur and I asked in unison.

He caught Prachi's hand in his and said, " I found my Girlfriend. " Noopur started jumping and hugged both of them.

" What?? Oh my god !! You really proposed to her today itself?? You are super fast bhai. " I said with a grin and hugged both of them. Prachi was not even looking at any of us. She was blushing a lot. Everyone was teasing them.

" It seems that every one has a girlfriend now. I am the only one who does not have one... " Siddharth said with a pout. Gautam started laughing.

" Why don't you be serious and find a nice girl for yourself? " I asked him.

" Well it seems, I am not good enough for nice girls. They don't take me seriously. For instance look at you, I have been flirting with you since so long but you never took me seriously. My brother is very lucky. " He said with a wink and smile but I felt something that was hidden beneath the surface called humor.

Was he in love with someone? I went near him as I wanted to talk to him.

" Ok, but then you must try harder. You must be serious about someone first."

" I tried once but it didn't work... Let it be. " He said with a fake smile.

" Why do I have a feeling that there is someone somewhere you really like?"

" It doesn't matter... "

" I think it does..."

" Let it be Maurvi... Don't try to get things out of me. Are you a mind reader? "

" Sometimes... yes, but I could never read your brother's mind. I never got to know that he liked me though in case of others, I mostly can guess. " I said and he started laughing.

" Oh, but I don't want to talk about it right now, some other time maybe... " He said with a smile which looked sad to me. I nodded as I didn't want to intrude.

I went to the kitchen to get something and Prachi followed me. She hugged me tight and then all of a sudden she started crying.

" Hey, why are you crying?" I asked her but she didn't say anything.

" Did Amit say or do anything he should not have? I swear, I will kill him. " She shook her head and smiled.

" Prachi, you are acting in a weird way, what happened? "

" I just want to say sorry for whatever I did earlier and want to thank you for not giving up on me. I was behaving so badly... " She was getting emotional and I stopped her.

" Now, stop right there. I don't want to discuss the past. It is over now. There is no need to say sorry as it does happen sometimes. And there is no need to thank me for not giving up on you. You have been my best friend since forever, I could not leave you in a problem. Now this was the last time we discussed about the past. May you have a bright future with my brother, bhabhi."

She blushed so beautifully.

" Hey, by the way... How did he propose to you? "

" Well, when we were going to get Ice-creams, he asked me, if we could be friends and I said, yes. Then he gave me a bunch of yellow flowers. I accepted it and then he asked me which flavoured ice-cream I wanted, I told him that I wanted chocolate flavour. He got one for me and one for himself. I was eating mine but he kept looking at me. I asked him to eat too, he smiled and started eating. All of a sudden he asked me to get a beautiful carry bag from the back seat. I picked it up for him. He said he is in a problem and asked me if I could help him? Then he took out a card and gave it to me."

" Wow!!! What was in the card??? "

" It said, someone has stolen his heart and he needs me to help him. There is the picture of the person in it. Please find her and persuade her to either return his heart to him or give hers to him, and when I opened the card there was a mirror on it. " She was blushing beautifully.

I shrieked and hugged her, " And what did you say? "

" Now?? please yaar... "

" Oh !! let me guess.... You must have blushed like anything. " She nodded.

" Then he gave the whole bag to me which had lots of chocolates and then he gave me flowers and asked me to be a part of his life. "

" Aww… that was so cute of him... I am so happy for both of you. " I hugged her again.

It was late, everyone went to their homes except Gautam, he was looking at me with intense eyes. " It was a nice day. " he said.

" Hmm right.. " I said

" So what is your plan for tomorrow? Care to have lunch with me? "

" But Noopur is going day after tomorrow so..." I said looking at Noopur, she was coming towards us.

" No, you can go with him... I will do the packing in the meanwhile. "

" Oh, you can come with us... " I said but she cut me in mid sentence.

" Oh no, I have to do the packing and... I don't want to be a third wheel. " She winked at us.

" You are not going to hospital?" I asked him.

" No, I am on leave. "

" But why? Are you unwell? "

" No... I am fine, I just wanted to spend some time with you. Mom and dad are coming, day after tomorrow. We need to go on a date. I need to spend some time with my girlfriend. "

" But... "

" Hey... No if, no but... Just shut. " he said and then laughed at his own silly joke.

" Ok... " I said and he kissed on my cheeks and said good night and went to his place.

Gautam's POV

I came back to my home. It was a nice day Maurvi looked so beautiful, happy and normal. I wanted to have her to myself, I had not spent any time with her since she said that she loves me too. I didn't want to spoil her mood by asking, what did Aakash say to her. But I wanted to know or I would not be able to sleep. I will try to ask her tomorrow.

I was about to fix something to eat so thought of asking Sid, what he would like to have for breakfast. Just then Maurvi came with our breakfast. I smiled at her and placed it on the table.

" Have it while it is still hot or it won't taste so good. I will take out the plates and you call Siddharth. " She said with a smile.

I was going to call him when I heard Sid talking to someone. I was about to enter his room when I heard him say, " Shruti, please at least listen to me... It was not the way you think it was. No... You are getting it wrong... I never did that... Please at least... You can't do that... What is wrong with you? .... Please trust me .... Shruti??? " He looked at his phone with a frustrated expression.

Oh god !!! What was going on? I knocked on his door. He tried to give me a smile which didn't reach his eyes." Yes bhai? Do you need anything ? "

" Yes, I need an explanation of whatever you were talking about. "

" What?? What was I talking about? "

" Will you stop acting? I heard everything you said. I want to know what is the matter?? "

" There is no matter... It is nothing. Doesn't matter. " He said. I was getting frustrated with all this, like everyone was hiding things. Earlier Maurvi was hiding the matter from me and now Sid was...
