Maurvi's POV



I called aunty in the morning to wish her happy birthday... In the evening when uncle and aunty came home, Sid brought a nice cake and flowers for his mom and I got some Falafel and Sweet corn Salad which I prepared. Uncle was very happy to see me he hugged me lightly. He kept smiling at me lovingly. Gautam was a bit busy at the hospital so he said he would come a bit late. So we all waited for him...

The doorbell rang and Siddharth went to open it. It was Gautam as expected. He came in and hugged aunty and winked at me. I blushed at that.

Aunty cut the cake and offered a small piece of it to all of us. Sid smeared some icing on aunty's cheek.

" Ewww, Sid... Are you a five-year-old kid.. ?" Aunty made a face

" Mom please yaar... I am your kid. How does that matter if I am five or twenty-five? " Sid said with a smile aunty smiled and shook her head.

Uncle also applied some on her face and aunty glared at him. He gave her a naughty smile. They are such a cute couple.

I went to the kitchen to get the plates for cake and snacks. Gautam came after me and he stood behind me. He snaked one of his arms around my waist and applied some chocolate icing on my cheek. What is wrong with the men in this family??

" What are you doing?? " My body started reacting to his action. My heart started beating fast...

" Eating cake... What else? " he said with a wink.

" This is how you eat cake?

" No... Not tried it yet...but want to try today. "

" Then why do you want to try this now? "

" Just like that... It seems like a good idea... But didn't have you earlier so couldn't try it. "

I took a tissue paper which was nearby and was about to wipe it when he caught my hand and kissed me on my cheeks wiping the icing away with his mouth.

Oh My God!!.... What was he doing? A loud gasp escaped from my mouth.

" Gautam... " I said his name... I wanted to tell him to stop. But he trailed his mouth towards my lips. He kissed on my lips very lightly. Then I turned my face to avoid it but his lips left some cream on mine so I just licked it. He smiled at me and let me go. I came out of the kitchen.

He followed me out and kept looking at me. I was blushing furiously. We all had cake and other snacks and I knew my cheeks were red because of his kiss and his stares.

" Hey Bhai.... how is the cake I tried the new bakery? "

" Awesome ... I never liked the cake so much till date. I want to eat more... " he said looking at me. Oh, God... What if anyone noticed it? I wanted to dump that whole cake on his head...

" Then eat it... Who is stopping you? " Sid said with a smile.

" I will later on... Hey, Maurvi did you like the cake? " Gautam asked and everyone looked at me. I just nodded and he smirked.

Siddharth presented the saree to her which I suggested. Gautam gifted that pendent set to her. I gave her a nice bunch of flowers and a nice perfume as I knew she loved them.

She said to me, " Beta you didn't have to get anything for me.. "

" Let it be Sudha... She is also like our child... She is like family to us. " Uncle smiled and said.

" Ok, mom there is another surprise for you... " Gautam held aunty's hand and said.

" Oh my God. what is it? " Aunty looked so excited.

" Not like this mom you will have to wait till we go for dinner. "

" No, tell me right now... "

" Mom please yaar.. can't you wait for some more time? "

" Chill mom... Bhai wants you to meet someone special... "

" Can't you ever keep your mouth shut? " Gautam yelled at him but he just shrugged.

" Wait a moment... What did he say? You want me to meet someone special? OH MY GOD!!! Seriously? That's great... When did that happen? I am so excited to meet her.. " she looked so happy... But would she be as excited as she was now after she gets yo know that it's me??

" Ok, so you go and get ready for dinner. Sid, I have already booked a table for us in our favourite restaurant. So be there on time. I will come with her."

" I am so excited to meet her... Hey Maurvi, go get ready fast... We have to leave in an hour. " Aunty said lovingly to me. I looked at Gautam and he shook his head very slightly.

" No aunty please you carry on... " Uncle and Sid were looking at me with amusement. Siddharth was trying to control his laughter.

" What nonsense?? You are coming with us... I don't want to hear anything. "

" Aunty, actually I had to go somewhere so ... "

" No, you have to come with us... I don't want an excuse. Don't you want to meet the girl, Gautam has fallen for? " I looked at uncle pleading with eyes to help me and he smiled.

" Sudha.. try and understand, she has to go somewhere. Let her go. But Maurvi beta, please come for the dinner once you are free. We would love to have you there. "

" Sure uncle.... l will definitely come. I have to go somewhere first and then I'll come to dinner. "

" That's like a good girl... god bless you. " Uncle said with a loving smile aunty was smiling too. Aunty and uncle went to there room to get ready.

" All the best would be sister..." Siddharth said in a low voice. I gave a nervous smile to him.

" Ok Bhai... I am going to my room, you both can enjoy the cake now... I know you never liked the cake as much as you like it today in the kitchen. Have some more. " He winked at him and went to his room.

Oh, God... He saw that. I blushed to the roots of my hair. I said a haste bye and went out of their home.

I opened the door and went inside. I was going to close the door when he pushed himself in as well.

" What?? "

" What? Can't I come and share a moment with my girlfriend?"

" I was with you only... I just came back from your home.. "

" Yeah... But everyone was there and I could not enjoy the cake with you well. See... Sid caught us enjoying the cake. No one would disturb us here... "

" But I already ate the cake... I am full... Please go I have to get ready... "

" No the cake first... "

" Gautam I can... Umm " I was saying but he pushed some cake in my mouth and ate the rest of it. Then he again smeared the cake on my face...

I don't like being messy so I was a bit annoyed so took some cake from the plate and smeared it on his face too to take revenge. He grinned like a Five-year-old child and pulled me in his arms.

" Wow!! so finally you want to try the cake in my style.. " he said with a very naughty smile.

" No, I don't want the cake in any style.. "

" But you would have to clean the mess you have created. I will clean mine.. " he wiggled his eyebrows and laughed.

" Ok leave me I will get the tissue paper.. "

" No, I will teach you another way... We must not waste paper... " He inched his face towards me kissed me on the cheek and licked off the cake and then kissed me on my lips. My heart was pounding frantically.

His arms were holding me tightly and his hand cupped the side of my face and tilted it to have better access. My mind was going numb with something nice.... as if I was losing myself in that kiss. My arms went around his neck. He pulled me further into him.

It felt good to be in his arms... But I had to stop it... So I turned my face to break the kiss and he rubbed his cheek with my cheek and neck to transfer the chocolate on me. He then kissed it off my face again and bent further to go to clean my neck when I stopped. His actions were creating havoc in my body... I had to stop as this feeling was alien to me.

I pushed him on his chest and he stopped. He looked at me with intense eyes. I could see that he wanted to continue but stopped when he saw the hesitation in mine.

He smiled and loosened his arms and took a step back.

" Hey I cleaned the cake off you ... Now it is your turn. " He said and took a wipe and cleaned up.

" This is not fair... You are a cheater.. you will get punishment," he said to me bending towards my neck.

" What?? "

" I will tell you later. Now get ready fast, I will come back in An hour .... Please wear that saree you wore on your farewell. "

" Don't you think it would be too formal? "

" No, I want my mom to see that you are not a child anymore. You are a very beautiful young lady who stole my heart...." He said with a wink and went out.
