Maurvi's POV



He went to meet my mom directly. And within a minute my mom and Gautam came to my room. Everyone had already come to my room again to tease me about him. Mom sent everyone away from my room and asked him to sit. I looked at him and my mom. What was going on?

" Beta please check if she is all right?"

" Ji.... will you please get water and medicine box please and get something healthy to eat. Please tell everyone to leave her alone for the time being. "

" Ok beta, I will tell everyone to let her rest... I will get her something healthy to eat.. will you have tea or coffee beta? "

" No aunty I am full. "

" Mom... "

" What???"

" You must not call me aunty now.. "

" Oh yeah... sorry... Mom," he said with his charming smile. My mom was very happy to hear that and went away closing the door.

He came to me hugged me tightly and placed a kiss on my cheek. I was still shocked at how he managed to come into my room and send everyone away.

" See beautiful ... I am here.. now tell me how are you feeling? " He asked with his sexy smile.

" Hmmm much better... But what did you say to mom? "

" Leave that for later on. Now tell me why are you so tensed.."

" I am not tensed, I am irritated... Will you run away with me? Or you give me some medicine so that I can sleep for at least 10 hours. Or just make me deaf for 10 hours at least... I am getting annoyed. I am sorry they might be excited but I am exhausted."

" You eat something and then sleep... I promise no one will disturb you. Or you can call me again. Take your beauty sleep and be there for our formal engagement." He said and smiled I nodded and returned the smile.

" Show me your Mehandi... " he said and I showed it to him.

" Where is my name? "

" Not there... It is written at the time of the wedding. "

" No way .. get it written this time too. Ok? Get it done or I will write it my self. "

" I will get it done.."

" So what are you wearing tomorrow?"

" Sorry, you will have to wait for that..." I said and just then I heard the knob of my door turning and Gautam stepped back.

" Beta have you checked her.? "

" Yes... Aun.. mom.. she is fine as of now.. but has severe headache.. so please tell everyone not to disturb her... Please let her take proper rest or she might get unwell." He said to mom and she just nodded.

Mom gave me a glass of juice and apple slices and gave the medicine box to him.

" Oh ... No.. she can't have apple.. " he said and a smile started forming on my lips.

He has started again..... My Drama king.....

" But why beta?? Apples are so healthy... "

" Not for us. I mean for her. "

" But why?? "

" She is allergic to it... "

" What nonsense.. she has eaten so many apples during childhood. She is not allergic to it. Rest assured. "

" Now she is... She can't have apple now... Now she is allergic. Trust me, aunty... I mean mom. I am a doctor I know. sometimes a person becomes allergic to something later on.. please don't ever let her eat an apple again... She can eat anything... Just not apple. I can't allow that as I am a doctor... Her doctor. " It was getting hilarious and was very difficult for me to hold my laughter.. so I burst out laughing. He glared at me and mom looked at me with surprise.

" Mom will you please get something else for her to eat... Sorry but not an apple... " He said and mom looked so concerned for me.

" Ok, but what exactly happened to her? ... Of course, you must be right.. you are a doctor.... You know better....but when did she become allergic to apple... Strange. " She went out muttering to get something else to eat. I was laughing like a lunatic now.

He pulled me hard into his chest and kissed me hard on my lips. I was shocked. He sucked my lips for a bit too long and stepped back before I could react.

" See I am such a good doctor... I can cure your laughter fit in seconds... You must give me the fees for curing it. "

" Very funny.. "

" Oh ... ok... You find my way of curing very funny so now you have to pay the entertainment tax too. Be ready to pay it darling. I will appreciate if you clear your dues in time. Or I will have to claim them myself." He said in a very serious tone.

He is such a sweetheart... Wanted to pay all his debts but. I felt shy.. my cheeks started burning.

" Aww, you have started turning into tomato... Hmm, it seems you are already looking forward to paying it back..... Great I will wait for it. "

I wanted to kiss and kill him at the same time. He is Satan... Going to tease me a lot... But I love this Satan.

I smiled and mom came with other fruits. He took the plate and gave it to me. Then he hugged mom and said bye to both me and mom.

" Sleep well. And mom please tell everyone not to disturb her.. '

" Sure beta... That was so sweet of you to come... You take such good care of her. Love you beta... God bless you both. " he hugged mom once again and winked at me and then went out.

I wanted to sleep earlier, but now he stole it... I kept thinking about him and was continuously smiling. I did not even realise when I slipped into slumber.

It was a beautiful morning. I got up late and nobody disturbed me. I was feeling fresh and well-rested now. I went out and had a late breakfast with Noopur... She was very excited about the engagement ... Had to be... Her line was getting cleared.

After breakfast, we both decided to get ready. The engagement was to be followed by lunch. So we did not have much time left. I took a bath and started getting ready. The lady from the salon helped with my hair and light makeup.

After I got my hair done I changed into my dress. My mom and Noopur were also ready. We all reached the venue for our engagement. I was sent to a room. All my friends came to meet me. Prachi was here and was looking very beautiful. I teased her that she had dressed to impress Amit's family. She blushed beautifully. Priya Megha and Sandhya were also there and came to meet me.



Gautam's POV



My parents were so excited. Dad, Sid and my cousins helped in loading the cars with the gifts, sweets and all the shagun stuff. We reached the venue and went into the hall and my eyes were looking for her. But only her family, cousins and friends were there. All my friends also came with their wives. Vidhi was also coming with Vikram and Sandhya.

As I was the sole target of their teasing, they started giving me suggestions about honeymoon destinations. All the girls went to meet Maurvi. She had invited Shubh also. Vikram was a bit surprised that he was also here. But I knew what was going in her mind.

All the relatives were coming to meet me. Our parents were busy with their friends and relatives.

Just then there was some movement near the entrance. The photographer ran there. She must be coming as everyone turned in that direction. I saw her entering the hall with Noopur, Ami and Prachi.

She was looking like a princess coming my way. My heart was pounding frantically. Vikram teased me by saying, " I hope your heart is fin... Don't worry, I am here. Just let me know if it stops beating. " He said and winked at me. I smiled as Maurvi had teased Vikram in the same way.

She was coming towards me but every second, people were going to meet her and hugging her. Can't they just leave her alone??
