Gautam's POV


You can't make me tie a rakhi at his wrist. Why do you think I will do so? " Maurvi said.

" But I will, as you are my girlfriend not his... "

"What if he is not ready for that? "

" I will beat him till he agrees..." She burst out laughing, god... she was looking so pretty.

But why was she laughing??

" You will not be able to do that. "

" Are you challenging me? " I asked her and she nodded.

" Ok girlfriend, I take this challenge. I will find him and would bring him in front of you. And make you tie a rakhi on his hand. "

" Mr Boyfriend... what if you can't do that? " She was smirking.

" Then I will give you Ten thousand rupees. But if I do that, you will be my girlfriend for real. " The moment I said that, she burst out laughing.

" What is so funny about it? "

" Nothing, interesting situation, I want to see who wins in the end. All the best. "

" Ok, now tell me about him. "

Mr Boyfriend. " She was smirking now.

" Does he even exist? "

" Of course... What do you think? "

" No, you seemed to be very confident that I won't be able to do that. So I thought... Why are you so confident that I will not be able to finish my challenge? "

" He is very much there, just like you." She again burst out laughing.

It looked like, she had her laughter fit again. I pulled her in my arms and kissed her on her cheek, near her lips. I just couldn't resist any longer. My lips brushed the side of her lips. Her soft kissable lips were tempting me for too long. I wanted to kiss them.

She was shocked and she gasped but I looked at her, she was as red as the red colour itself. She was blushing because of me... Is it possible that she may have developed a bit of feelings for me?

" See, I cured your laughter fit again. " I said devilishly. She lowered her eyes and looked absolutely flushed.

" Now tell me, do you still think I can not win the challenge? " She smiled again.

" Don't make me laugh again. "

" Ok let's see..."

We did not want to go inside so we kept sitting there near the pond. I was enjoying being with her. Her smile, fragrance, hair, lips everything was driving me crazy. I wanted her like anything. We were sitting side by side. And we kept talking about various things. And finally she dozed off there in front of me.

Sleep was far away from my eyes and I kept looking at her. I picked her up in my arms and took her to her room and laid her on her bed. I was about to go, when I recalled her saying that she confess everything when she sleeps like this after getting very tired.

I thought of giving it a try. I went near her and called her name softly.

" Maurvi, Maurvi? "

" Hmmm "

" Maurvi, how old are you ? "

" 21 ... Ummm...Almost 22. " she was sleeping.

" Maurvi, do you have any siblings? "

" Hmm, Noopur. "

" Who is your best friend? Maurvi?"

" Prachi "

" Have you ever had a crush? "

" Hmmm "

Wow!! it is working..

" On whom? " I asked with anticipation but she did not say anything.

" Maurvi?? Your crush?? who is he?"

" Umm....Let me sleep... " she muttered very slowly. I had to go very close to her. So I slipped into bed near her so I could hear her.

"Maurvi? Your crush ? Tell me about him."

" He is tall.. dark... handsome..."

" Ok .... And ?? "

" Funny... smart... He is so good. "

" Who is he? Maurvi?? " I patted on her shoulder as she was not listening. But she turned towards me and cuddled into me. She wrapped her arm around my waist and rest her head on my shoulder. Her face was buried in the crook of my neck. Her lips brushing my skin.

Oh God!! I was already having tough time, in staying away from her.

" Maurvi?? " I wanted to get away but she was cuddling me tightly.

" He is so... cute... cute doctor..."

Oh God!! Is he a doctor? Who is he?

" Tell me more, Maurvi?? "

" No ... Let me ... sleep. Pleeease.. "

" How old is he? "

" 27. "

What?? She has a crush on someone my age? Some doctor, my age.. means she doesn't have a problem with our age gap. That's good. But I have to find that stupid doctor. But where did she meet him?

Her proximity was affecting me... I was losing my mind. Her hands wrapped around me and her lips grazing against my neck. This girl will give me a heart attack someday.

I reframed my question...

" Maurvi , Maurvi, who is your most favourite man ? "

" Ummm... Gautam "

WHAT ??????

" Maurvi do you like me... I mean Gautam? "

" Hmmm... He is so cute. "

CUTE??? I would have hated being called cute, but I loved it coming out from her.

" And? How much do you like him?? "

" Too... much... " She smiled while sleeping. I wanted to kiss her till none of us could not breath.

" Do you love him...? "

" I... don't... Know... "

" You love Gautam???? "

" Shhh... let me... sleep now. Pleeeease, I... ammm... tired " She slept again in my arms. I didn't have a heart to annoy her. She slept like an angel. My angel. I kept looking at her for some time and then I slipped into slumber too.

I woke up suddenly because of some irritating sound. Oh no !! It was the alarm. I was looking for it to stop it. I took out my phone to switch It off but it was not my phone. It was Maurvi's phone???

What is it doing here?? I opened my eyes a bit more. She was still sleeping in my arms. I switched off the alarm and got up from bed and slept on the couch.

Maurvi was sleeping on the bed . Just then I heard the door of the room opening. I closed my eyes immediately . Sandhya had come to the room and saw us sleeping, she went out again. Thank God she didn't come earlier.

I got up and went out of the room, Sandhya was sitting on one of the chair. She smiled at me when she saw me.

I smiled and said, " So you took care of his hand? " She blushed. My smile widened and I shook my head.

" Sorry, because of us you had to sleep on that uncomfortable thing.. " I just smiled and said, " Oh it was alright.. it was not that bad. " I was smiling as I recalled the events of last night.

Everyone started coming out of their rooms. Vikram also came and sat beside her, smiled at her. He whispered something to her and she blushed very hard...

Vikram got up and joined us while all the girls went towards her and teased her.

Maurvi's POV


The tea and the breakfast was served... We all were enjoying, all the friends were telling about their school days. We all had an amazing time.

Mehul ji said , " I always loved this place and we all 5 of us used to come here whenever we could. But it is even better now. Thanks to my talented and beautiful wife. " We clapped for her while she looked lovingly at her husband.

" Yes, this place is much more beautiful than it was. Hey you never had that pond with the fountain in the corner. It is beautiful and mesmerizing. Especially, during night. I loved sitting by it. It was really very calming and soothing." He said looking at me and I blushed like anything.

Sandhya looked at me and raised her eyebrow, but I shook my head very slightly and avoided looking at anyone.
