Chapter 59: Beautiful and Powerful Businesswoman, Bella Hahn!

Meanwhile, under his own roof, Dk didn't know that Rebecca was making plans behind his back, that she had helped save a traitor and that she was manipulating Bella. After all, he never stopped paying attention to the tall, beautiful blonde who had been madly in love with him since childhood when they met. Rebecca's father was Alexander Kicher's Consigliere, until the day that in a dispute for territory and power, Anthony Hahn killed him, leaving his only daughter behind so as not to abandon the 12-year-old girl. Alexander took care of her, making her part of the family, at least that was what she thought until they opened the will of the powerful Kicher leader. "If you're all present, I'll start reading the will." The main lawyer who served the Kicher family announced. Only DK, Rebecca and Oliver were present because Dylan wanted a witness.

"To my goddaughter, I leave a mansion on the beach in California, a restaurant in the same city and 50 million dollars so that she can start her life over again. I hope you get well and that you understand once and for all that Dylan doesn't love you as a woman and I apologize for that, because maybe I influenced this situation. Thank you for helping me.”

“Your father was terrible. Does he want me away from you? That will never happen.” Rebecca looks at DK, who doesn't even care about her words, but Oliver does.

“And as for my beloved son, I leave the responsibility of leading the KIcher family, all the businesses and all the assets. Dylan, I know I was too hard on you, but it was my role as a father and leader. Besides, I love you, son.” The lawyer closes the will, leaving someone very angry. The lawyer hadn't even finished greeting DK, and Rebecca left, slamming the door.

“Her impulsiveness is what will lead her to failure.”

“DK, can I go after her?”

“No. Leave her alone for now, she needs to cool her head.”

“But you know how impulsive she is.”

“Oliver, are you contesting my order? She's impulsive, but she won't kill herself. Don't worry, she'll be back soon. I don't want to deal with her now.”

Oliver, despite being worried and clearly distressed, remained by his boss's side until the end and when the lawyer left, DK finally released his subordinate who ran to find Rebecca, finding her in a corner of the garden talking on her cell phone:

“Maybe we'll have to speed things up. When's her next trip?”

“Do you want me to make the plane crash with me inside? No way.”

“Put some poison in it, shoot her, do something. Don't forget that I saved your life.” Rebecca was very angry, not noticing Oliver's presence.
“Who are you talking to and who do you want to kill?”

“It's none of your business and don't get involved in this. Rebecca tries to dodge Oliver, but he grabs her arm.

“Becca, don't go down that path. Just accept that DK doesn't like you, but I like you a lot. Stay with me!”

The blonde lets go and looks Oliver in the face, "This conversation again? You know I would never be with you. Get a grip, Oliver." She continues on her way.

"What could she be up to?" Oliver is intrigued. That same day, a little later in the afternoon, DK was gathered with his Capo, Capo Décimos and some members and associates at a cocktail party to introduce himself as the powerful boss in place of his father. Everyone raised their glasses of champagne. "Long live the new Don."

The news reached the ears of the two main rivals, each reacting in their own way:

“That son of a bitch is going to give me trouble, I need to find a way to get rid of him, especially now that he and the bitch Bella are together.” Johnny grumbles his irritation, while Bella has a different kind of reaction.

“Good luck, Dylan!”

Susan enters her boss’s office. Remembering the photo shoot and interview she would give to an important business magazine in the country, because of the hotel and other millionaire businesses she had, she became one of the youngest women to have so much importance in the business world where men were still the dominant majority.

“I’m ready, we can go.”

“Don’t forget to tell Johnny about the divorce, but be careful not to talk too much, otherwise our plan won’t work. We want you to show up to encourage him to come out of the shadows so you can catch him. Don't answer questions that are too intimate or compromising.” Susan plays her role as consigliere

Arriving at the hotel she had just bought, some of the employees were already waiting for her, including the photographer who immediately started doing his job. Bella always had a slight smile on her face, exuding her charm, beauty and elegance. However, although only Susan was at her side, other subordinates accompanied her in disguise: Hunter as a waiter, Daniel as a receptionist and Charles as a guest who was just hanging out in the hotel's beautiful and well-planned lobby. Everything was prepared and the interview began. The interviewer began by giving compliments that left Bella both flattered and embarrassed, and then the questions began, about her fortune, for example, and Bella replied that at first her late father taught her to be an entrepreneur and then she took off on her own until she reached the level she was at now. However, she also said that it wasn't easy, because her husband didn't support her much. She often felt suffocated and repressed, so much so that she was now trying to separate amicably and he didn't want to accept it. “You’re married to Johnny Iverson, right?” the interviewer asks.

“That’s right. That parasite stole some of the businesses that belonged to my family and are therefore rightfully mine, but it’s okay, I’ll get everything back sooner or later. There’s a saying that goes, an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth.” Bella smiles and the interviewer changes the focus of the conversation and after a few more questions the interview is over. Bella invites the woman and the photographer for a drink, which they accept. A few days passed and copies of the important magazine began to be put into circulation for sale throughout the country. Taylor was still in his small apartment in the comfort of his bed, surfing the internet and reading articles when he came across Bella's interview. He immediately jumped out of bed, got ready and went to meet his boss at the Hahn mansion. Since it was Sunday, and it was still early, Johnny was still sleeping. The subordinate asked Maria to wake him up because it was important and if she didn't do it later it would have serious consequences. The maid got scared and decided to go and call her boss, who took a while to come. However, when she came down the stairs wearing only sweatpants and an open hobby, she complained: "I hope it's really important for you to come here and wake me up on a Sunday."

"Yes. I think it's really important. Read this." "The beautiful and powerful businesswoman, Bella Hahn!? That wretch really fooled me."
