Part C: Chapter 53

***Carter’s POV***

I was pissed off with Ivan. What point of don’t tell anyone didn’t he get?

“What the hell is wrong with you?” I barked at him. I was at his house and he looked very much guilty. It had taken me two days to find him but I finally did and I wasn’t going to let him off the hook that easily. Because he was the Gamma, I had to handle this on behalf of Aidan’s sake because if he was the one here, Ivan wouldn’t still be conscious and it had taken a lot of persuading to finally let me handle it after I had explained everything to him. “What point don't tell anyone you don't understand or were you just thinking with your dick like usual when it comes to her?”

“I’m sorry,” was all he said as his head hung low. “I didn’t mean to tell her but it just slipped when she asked me what was going on with the pack.”

My mouth almost hung open. “You have got to be kidding me,” I said, my hands clenched into fists. “How does it just slip like that? And you are supposed to be the Gamma for crying out loud. When the Alpha tells you to shut your mouth, you do as he says before he has your neck.”

Ivan looked up at me and I continued pacing back and forth. “I’m sorry. It won’t happen again and I told her not to tell anyone and I know she won’t tell anyone.” It was lame but if he thought that was going to make me calm down, then he had something else coming to him.

I took large steps towards him and stopped in front of him. “That still doesn’t excuse the fact that you went against Aidan’s clear order,” I said calmly. “And trust me, he wanted you to pay really dearly for it because your actions caused a chain reaction that neither of us likes and for that, you have to be punished just like anyone else would be.”

“Please no, I will do anything just don’t let him be the one to deal out my punishment,” he pleaded. I could see tears in his eyes because everyone knew the kinds of punishments that Aidan dealt when someone directly broke his order. That was why everyone was afraid of seeing that other side of him and always did as he said. “I know I messed up badly but she is also a part of the family and I don’t know,” he tugged at his hair in frustration. “It’s just whenever I’m around her, I lose all thought and reason and all I want is to do whatever she tells me in the hopes that she will one day see me more than just the guy she grew up with.”

I sighed as I crouched down next to him. “I know what you feel but that still doesn’t excuse what you did,” I said softly. “You told her something that she wasn’t supposed to know and look where that got you. Without the girl and without your Alpha’s trust.”

“I know,” his head hung low once more and when he looked up, his eyes looked tired. “What punishment does he have for me?”

I smiled as I stood up. “You won’t like it because I’m the one who chose it.”

Ivan’s face paled as he looked at me. Usually, I tended not to deal out any form of punishment because people had complained about my ways and thought that I overdid it at times. Let’s just say that my kinds of punishments were more for my pleasure than their comfort and I made sure I was going to enjoy this more than anything.

Ivan, Aidan and I were all standing outside in the clearing that we used for our own personal training when the training room just didn’t quite match what we wanted.

“Please tell me it’s not what I think it is,” Ivan asked as he turned to face me and then he turned to Aidan. “Come on, please don’t make him do this to me. It was a mistake and I feel really bad for doing it.”

Aidan shrugged, “you brought it upon yourself man. Sorry.”

I was still smiling as I clasped my hands together. “You are going to take off your clothes and have your head shaved bald. After which, you shall walk back to the pack and ask all the elderly women for forgiveness upon which you shall also have to work for them for the rest of the day, it’s that simple,” I said with a casual shrug.

“This is worse than what Aidan would have given me,” Ivan said with a sigh. “That’s so embarrassing and I don’t think I shall ever be able to live it down or even face anyone without feeling ashamed because they saw me naked.”

“It’s not that bad, it’s nothing anyone hasn’t seen before,” I replied with another shrug. “Plus, your hair will grow back after some months. Nothing you can’t get used to.”

“I actually hate you right now,” Ivan spat as he started taking off his shirt but Aidan stopped him. “Thank you Alpha.”

Aidan looked at him with narrowed eyes. “What are you thanking me for? I only stopped you because I don’t want to see your naked self while Carter shaves your head.”

I was bent over laughing at the look of horror on Ivan’s face as he realised that none of us were going to get him out of this. The whole thing wasn’t that bad if you thought about it, unlike what Aidan would have chosen, this should have seemed like heaven to him. Composing myself, I straightened and pulled the razor from my pocket. “All right buddy, let’s get to shaving that perfect hair of yours.”

Ivan reluctantly walked over to me and I shaved his head with a gleeful smile on my face. I knew just how he loved his hair. For it to truly be a punishment, he had to lose something that he truly loved; that being his hair. After I was all done with shaving his head, I told him to take off his clothes while Aidan and I turned around.

“Did you really have to make him undress?” Aidan asked. “It seems way too cruel especially with this cold weather.”

I rolled my eyes. “He can survive a little cold,” I answered. “Besides, it’s more fun like that because he won’t ever do something as stupid as that the next time because he will always be embarrassed whenever he’s around anyone.”

“But what if the kids see him?”

“Don’t worry about that, I had it all planned out.” I waved him off. “It’s just a little fun and he will get over it soon. Though I fear he will hate me for shaving his head clean.”
Aidan sighed as he ran his fingers through his hair. “I would never forgive you if I was in his shoes,” he replied. “Everyone knows just how much he loved that hair.”

“Exactly why I had to do what I did.”

Ivan came back and handed me his clothes. “Thanks, you can follow after us but give us a twenty minute head start. There is no way I am going to be seen with a naked dude,” I said, still facing the other side. “This entertainment isn’t for me but more for the pack’s sake.”

“Fine, whatever. Just go and leave me with my shame,” Ivan replied sarcastically. “It won’t change the fact that you took something that was so dear to me.”

“Sorry man,” I said and then turned to Aidan. “Come on, I’m starving here
