Scarlet Aubrielle

It’s been a day since Prince Helios came here to our duchy and everything seems to be going very well. In fact yesterday, during breakfast they both praised me for being able to think of such a proposal to the crown prince that not only catered the interest of both parties but rather put the Elvoi family in a great advantage.

Well, they also told me that it is a great opportunity for me to be able to show our people that I also have what it takes. Of course, proving myself is not really mandatory because I am the daughter of the duke and the duchess but still, that doesn’t mean that I should slack off and rely on my family or our people forever. And in fact, that is also one of my reasons why I proposed subjugating the dungeon myself.

I may still be young right now and yet to debut in the social circle but I do know that I possess a high- caliber power which I am yet to be able to control fully. This subjugation will be able to aid me in being to know how much power am I able to control right now and how much I will still have to learn.

I want to prove myself that even if I am a woman, I can and I will be able to do whatever that my brother does - and that I can also be like my mother, or more of surpass her abilities. Because other than it is really the destiny of Scarlet Aubrielle Elvoi but it is also because of the fact that I also want to be the best in this story that is the only way so that I will prevent a disaster happening to my life and also the Elvoi duchy in general.

Earlier this morning as well, I went out to do my daily routine - and that is to jog. Well, in my previous life I always jogged in order to maintain my body and also stay healthy by burning the fat that I have accumulated from every food that I intake. If in the past I can control the food that I am eating - what to eat and what not to eat, in this life it is actually pretty impossible.

Because first of all every meal is prepared by the house chefs and since it was prepared for us individually, I have no choice but to actually consume everything on my plate and glass because it would be a great disrespect to the chefs and the other people who prepared the food. Second thing is that there a lot of children on the streets that are not able to eat a proper meal every day, that they have to struggle to survive - some kids even resort to pick pocketing.

And how did I know? Well, that is because I asked Elisha to do some researching for me since I am not able to freely go out of the duchy just yet and travel around. My parents and especially my brother are overprotective to the point that they can actually just lock me up inside the house if they can because they are scared that I might get hurt or break.

But among the three of them, Mother is the one that wants only the best for me and that she will let me do whatever it is that I want. Well, she is still afraid that I will get hurt but she also acknowledges the fact that in order for me to learn everything that I need to learn and to gain experience as well I need to make mistakes, to get hurt and to fail at some point of my life.

And even if she doesn’t voice it out, I know that it is what she wants to say yesterday, specifically last night when she she visited me in my room.

The third things is that every ingredient, especially the meat are quite expensive. Although our family is rich, I don’t want to take that as a reason for me to waste food. Not to mention that I am not raised by my first life parents as such a child. I know to value things especially the food that is placed right in front of me.

Other that my morning jog, I have also passed through knights that are also doing their morning routine and they greeted me with joy, however for some reason I noticed that some of them were quite aloof. But the thing is, I am not completely oblivious about the reason why they are aloof towards me - I know that they have already gotten the news from my brother that I am going to be the one who is going to lead them in the subjugation of the dungeon that appeared in the western part of the empire and that I was also the one who proposed that to the crown prince.

I bet that those people thought when they heard the news that they are going to meet death sooner than they expected. I understand them because, one they haven’t really witnessed my abilities. All they know that I can use Ice magic just like my mother however they are not informed about the power that I possess because from what I remember from the original Scarlet’s memories the reason why the Elvoi family kept her powers hidden from the public and even to the people of their duchy is because of the fact that they want to prevent people from seeing their Scarlet Aubrielle as a monster.

In short, those knights don’t trust her just yet and she completely understands the reason and she also thinks that it is actually inevitable because no one really inside the duchy was able to prove that she really can use ice magic - well most of them are new knights.

They are thinking that maybe all of it are just a hoax in order to protect the Elvoi family name. Well, if they are really thinking that then all I have to do now is to prove them wrong of their thoughts about me - I mean that is one of my goals as well in the first place. I don’t want our people to doubt me because that will also afffect my credibility in the future - those people that could also possibly doubt me can be used against me as well and I am preventing such a thing from happening.

Am I being too cautious? Well, I guess I am being cautious but it is necessary if I want to survive in this life and prevent the tragic death of Scarlet Aubrielle Elvoi and the entier Elvoi duchy.

Well, there are a lot of things that happened early in the morning. Other than my jog and what I saw from those knights who are also doing their morning routine, a letter from the crown prince also arrived. Of course, he is not the one who personally brought the letter but rather a pigeon did.

But it is not an ordinary pigeon but a pigeon that is made out of Fire, which is the element of the crown prince, Helios. In short, he is the one who made the pigeon himself and some aide of his. Right now, I just got back to my room and I immediately examined the contents of the letter and I cannot help but to grin because he did followed what I asked of him.

I guess he is really not a jerk after all, that he still knows to follow the deal because the way he acted right in front of us a day ago proves that he doesn’t really care about formalities not only because he is the crown prince but also because of the fact that he really doesn’t like us in the first place.

Based from the memory of the original Scarlet Aubrielle, he and Calyx are pretty close - they were actually best of friends so it is really kind of surprising to suddenly find out that they act like that with each other and even our parents mentioned to me that Calyx and Helios paths cannot cross because the two always ends up fighting.

Specifically the contents of the letter are a general sketch of what the dungeon looks like, a written description as well of it and as well as the surroundings of the dungeon. I am going to need this sketch because from what I remember in the game, there is indeed one dungeon that the female lead subjugated with the crown prince, however that only happened a month after Scarlet’s debut in the social circle of the nobles.

And it is actually a dungeon that had never been subjugated for two years because they lack manpower and that a lot of knights already died just by exploring that place and the presence of the female lead was essential because she was continuously able to heal and protect the team.

Now let’s see if my hunch is really correct that this is the same dungeon that they are supposed to subjugate in the near future
