Route 1: Anticipation

**Scarlet Aubrielle**

“Well, I am going to leave now. I was planning to leave with you and your team but it seems like you are going to leave on a later time.” that is what the emperor said and obviously he is already about to leave to go back to the empire. I still cannot believe that he actually traveled for less than a day just to visit our home and to talk to me when in fact he could have just wrote a letter or delivered to me a magic crystal ball so that we are able to communicate as if we are talking in person.

“Yes, your majesty. We still have a few preparations” that is what I said. Well, the thing is that he wants us to go together already but we are way ahead of time if we leave now and also, I said to my parents and to my brother, Calyx that I am going to wait for them before I leave with my team.

Well, they have said that they need to properly say their farewells to me and to also give me last minute reminders as I subjugate the dungeon. But the thing is, I know that they are not going to just let me go and for sure, one of them or three of them will surely follow me all the way to the dungeon - or maybe they will ask their spirit familiars to follow me and to makes sure that I am safe.

“If that is the case then, I am just going to see you in the palace and I’ll make sure that my son will greet you properly there. Well, I know everything that happened on that day that he went here and I just can’t wait to give him a proper scolding” that is what he said which surprised me.

He knows? But how did he knew that what happened almost a week ago? No one other than Helios and Calyx were inside the living room that time. There were no attendants or knights and there is no way that a knight or attendant of Helios could have eavesdrop with our conversation because I know that Calyx had made sure that there is a barrier around the living room that makes it soundproof and to make sure that no one will eavesdrop.

But anyways, maybe he attached something to Helios that made him know what happened during that day - in the modern world, where I orginally came from it is called as a spy cam. In this world, a spy cam is also possible with the use of magic.

“Yes your majesty, see you tomorrow” that is what I said and he immediately smiled then he that is the time that he entered the carriage as well and the moment that the door closed, the carriage immediately moved and when it is already far from my position and that it already got out of the gate, that is the time that I turn my back around and I immediately let out a sigh.

Damn.

That was honestly a lot of pressure - I cannot believe that I am suddenly going to encounter the emperor and that we will have such a conversation. Well, what we talked about are mainly about my mission on subjugating the dungeon, a little bit of conversation regarding my parents and we also talked about things about myself. I do think that anyone would immediately feel intimidated when the emperor is right in front of them

“Will the emperor no longer come back, my lady?” suddenly Elisha said which instantly made me turn my head towards her direction and I can see that fear on her eyes, and that she is even shaking which made me frown.

What happened to her?

“Hey Elisha are you okay?” that is what I asked then she immediately turn her head towards me and looked at me as if I am really asking that question.

“My lady, haven’t you felt it? Are you not affected of the powerful aura that he has been releasing since he got out of the carriage?” she said which again made me frown.

Aura? What aura has he been releasing?

**Emperor Detroit**

“How was your meeting with the young lady of the Elvoi family, your majesty?” my aide asked which made me smile. Well, this is the first time in a while that I have seen Scarlet Aubrielle since she was brought to the empire by Claude and Selene to formally introduce her to me as their second child.

When she was still little, she was such a sweet and timid girl. I often thought that she would make a wonderful bride of Helios, my eldest son and the crown prince and so, I often push him to visit the duchy of my friends and also, in order for him to have fun with his friend Calyx, the oldest child of Claude and Selene.

However, I didn’t expect that she would actually turn to be a quite a fierce lady. She really takes after her mother too much maybe greater than her mother because I didn’t expect that she would act in such a manner.

“Well, it was honestly great and I didn’t expect her to actually feel nothing when I am already releasing the much of an aura that already almost suffocated her attendants. If Claude and Selene were there I know that they will scold me to death”

I said and I cannot help but to really smile remembering what happened a while back. I didn’t expect that she wouldn’t be affected by the aura that I have been releasing, it is as if there is really nothing for her which is completely different from her mother, Selene.

Selene was able to notice it and that she even scolded me for it, however the thing is her daughter wasn’t able to feel it which is an amusing thing. She may not be not just knowledgeable about it, or that she is immune to such a thing or that she is way stronger than me.

“I cannot wait for her to be able to learn a lot of things and for her to improve her abilities.” I added and my aide looked at me curiously or rather confusingly. I really cannot help but to anticipate what is about to happen next, I bet everything will be exciting.
