Route 1: THE DREAM 6.0

"revenir" - Cain, whispered and in just a blink of an eye he is now on the ground and the wound that has been cause by those things when it pierced his body are slowly disappearing. There is this golden light that covered his wounds and the moment that light disappeared the wounds did too as well.

"He just used a first class healing magic that is incorporated with light magic" - Alarick said which made me start to think about Cain's identity.

"Did you not say that he is just able to use the four elements? Why does his healing magic incorporated with light magic?" - I asked and the question I asked is not only addressed to Alarick but it is also addressed to Aesir. If I remember correctly they indeed told me that Cain possess the four elements which made his magic capability rare, because no one could ever wield all four elements. Being able to use three elements is already a burden because it can cause the mana flow in one's body to go quite abnormal, and based from researches, those who are born with the talent to have the three elements die of young age because they cannot handle the pressure not only in mana capacity but also the pressure it has in their bodies.

"It is impossible that he has light magic in his body. No one in his family was able to possess it, unless--" - Aesir said which made me immediately raise an eyebrow although I am wearing a mask and no one could see it I still did because of her answer.

No one in the family of Cain has the capability to possess light magic but what is this I am seeing. I can also see particles of light magic surrounding him right now. Another thing is that, she did not continue what she is about to say which is so damn f-cking frustrating.

"Unless what?"

"Unless he too was able to have a contract with a spirit" - Alarick said, which made me let out a menacing laugh. Seriously? He was able to have a contract with a spirit? I am not actually saying it is impossible but nothing was mentioned in the game that he had an contract with a spirit-- wait there is a mention of such in the game but the thing that has been mentioned is that Cain, the hero is not capable of having a contract with a spirit simply because he is already overpowered, however since he is a hero that fights monsters almost everyday, there are instance that his body consumed too much miasma and he needs light magic to purify his body from the poison.

And when the day finally came where he cannot handle the poison in his body anymore, he collapsed and the moment he woke up, the female lead is in front of him, purifying his body. And since then every time he comes back from a mission to exterminate monsters and to protect the empire, he always visits the female lead to be purified and during his free time he still goes to the female lead's house to simply talk to her because he already likes her.

But at this moment, I know that everything about Cain is completely different from what it has in the game. Or-- it could also be that he always had a contracted spirit, however he really never used it. In the game plot, I also recalled that he did not use a spell called 'revenir'. All he used is the four elements and his sword. F-ck so I really did changed a lot in this game in just six f-cking years. If that's the case, then the plot that I am trying so hard to remember is not of that much use now.

I shift my gaze back to Cain and right now he is already standing while holding his two swords.

"revenir" - I heard him say once again and as if on cue wings appeared on his back once again, however it is different from the wings he had a while ago, because right now he has golden wings. I can't actually help but to stare at him, why? simply because he damn f-cking looks divine. With those golden wings and with him holding two swords he definitely looks like an archangel.

I could draw him if only I have a pen and a canvas right now -- oh wait I can also draw him later since I do have a photographic memory.

"I can't believe that he is with that boy" - Alarick suddenly said which made me look at him. I even remove my mask a little for him to see my face, of course, other than that is because I need to breathe.

"Who?" - I asked because from the looks of it both Alarick and Aesir are so shocked of something. It is so uncommon for them to be shocked like this

"You can see who we are talking to now" - Aesir said which made me once again look back to Cain's position and I cannot help but to let out a wide smile as I let out a loud laugh.

I can't believe it! Seriously? I can't believe that he has the capacity to be able to have a contract with such spirit! Of course, he is a damn f-cking hero and he is overpowered from the start, but like what the f-ck?! If that's the case then why did he damn let his hand to be cut off by the emperor? Why didn't he fought back? Oh yeah the reason for that is because he loves the f-cking female lead

Damn. Why the heck did I not realize from the start that he has a f-cking spirit-- not to mention that the spirit is a f-cking dragon.A dragon who f-cking looks a lot like the image of the dragon in the seal of the damn f-cking empire's flag. And that f-cking dragon is a substantial evidence that Cain is the rightful heir to the throne.

Wait-- if he finally called his spirit, then that means this is what they call in the game as his awakening? The only difference is there is nothing that mentioned that the awakening involves a dragon.

But what the f-ck this is a pretty nice plot twist. Now I can f-cking enjoy the fight. Now, who has the most power-- the golden dragon or the black dragon?

*

It's been a couple of seconds and Cain technically summoned his contracted spirit, and his opponent, the black dragon on the other hand is just looking at them.

"So, the Legendary Dragon who fault along side human beings during the ancient era is with the young boy" - The black dragon mumbled, however, just like the usual thing, Cain wasn't able to understand him and it only sounded to him as a simple growl.

But what the black dragon just said now isn't really for Cain, but it is for the golden dragon behind him which is his contracted spirit. Of course, since they are both dragons they can technically understand each other.

"You too is still a young boy. It is obvious that you still have no style in fighting, however I commend you for being able to use one of the strongest dark magic of the black dragons" - Cain's contracted spirit said and the black dragon spread his wings, flapped it three times and he let out a loud growl. Cain obviously became alert, however there is really nothing to be worried about. The black dragon, who is obviously still a child compared to the golden dragon is just showing how happy he is for actually being praised.

Which proves that he is really still just a baby dragon. Well, I also agree that he is still a child because a when a dragon is to be considered as a full grown adult, their age must be around five hundred years old and if you compare it to human age, it should be around seventy years old.

And obviously he has just been around for more or less fifty years. So that really makes him a child, not to mention that he grew up with no parents and he was locked up by humans for all these years to make use of his capability to produce high level magic stones.

"You know that we don't really have to fight, I bet you already know how everything will turned out if we'll continue this" - Cain's contracted spirit said and I can't help but to let out a chuckle. Yes, of course, the outcome has already been decided in the first place. The black dragon is fated to die in the hero's hands, but that destined outcome has been strengthened the moment the hero's contracted spirit was summoned.

"Appraisal" - I whispered and in just a second I can now perfectly read the statistical difference between the black and the golden dragon's power. And indeed, the black dragon is just a small fry compared to the golden dragon. He will surely be turned into ashes in just one hit.

"I know that it is impossible for to me to win, however, I have given my word to the lady that I will do my best until the end. Although I will die, at least my death will not be caused by my cowardice" - the black dragon said and my smile immediately disappeared. Tsk. Stupid. He could have just go back on his word and asked the golden dragon to give him a peaceful and painless death.

Tsk such stupidity. I too am not a person who goes back on my words, however everything should still be aligned with rationality. And in this case, he should have just went back on his words rather than experiencing quite a painful death.

"We know what you are thinking Mila, and it is natural for dragons to act that way. They too have a pride just like human beings and their pride is much more higher than yours" - Aesir suddenly said.

"That's why we sometimes hate dragons for being prideful, for not knowing when to stop or back down. That's why they were not elected to be the guardians of the spirits. Because their pride can be the reason why our realm could be destroyed" - Alarick added to what Aesir said.

I can't just help but to heave a deep sigh because of the fact dragon hates human beings but they too embody the greatest sin that humans have the moment they gain rationality and that is being full of pride.

"As you wish, little one" - The golden dragon growled and as if on cue several golden magic circles appeared appeared around him and Cain

"retourner en cendres" - Cain said and as if on cue light gold beams came out from the magic circles. The Black dragon growled and dark magic circles surrounded him as well, however because he is a second late I saw how one of those light golden beams passed through his right arm, and that arm of his came flying somewhere.

I can't help but to click my tongue. Yes I do want to see an exciting and thrilling fight, however not like this one where clearly Cain has already the upper hand because of his contracted spirit. I am expecting that the Hero will be wounded badly and then he will awaken his sleeping powers, however it is clearly not going to happen because obviously right from the start he has the upper hand already. He was just trying his luck without relying on the spirit's power, but of course, the moment he got stabbed he realized that his own power is not enough to defeat a dragon.

So he called upon his spirit. Fuck. This is really so frustrating. If only I knew this is going to happen then I could have just made that kid dragon my familiar and I shouldn't have encouraged the black dragon to fight with all that he has damn! I really should have known better.

"It is not your fault that he is going to die, Mila" - Alarick suddenly said which made me turn my gaze at him.

"His fate was already written the moment he was born. He was bound to die in the hands of Cain Khalid, the descendant of the previous emperor and the one who is destined to be the next emperor" - Aesir added which made me frown.

Wait-- what the fuck are they talking about? So are these two saying that they knew from the start that Cain is going to kill the black dragon? Okay! So all along I thought that I am the only one who fucking knew that he is going to get killed but what did they just said?

It was already written the moment that black dragon was born? Damn! I need to fucking ask them about this because surely what they just said will bother me and I don't want this day to end without knowing what they actually know.
