"Are you really sure that we are going to go to their tribe, Lady Mila?" - Cain asked for the second time today. I guess it is only natural for him to ask that question to assure that I am ready for the possible consequences of my action.

It's been two days since we completed the mission in saving the hybrids from being sold to the nobilities of the empire. And actually I am supposed to be out now, back to completing missions to earn money, well not really to earn money but to make sure that I will be able to extract quite a sum to whoever bastard noble lineage is asking for the mission that I am going to take.

And if the person who posted that mission is a commoner of some sort, of course I am still going to charge them for my professional fee. Well duh? I am no saint and I need money.

So, going back. Just like what I have said, our mission is supposed to finished the moment we saved the hybrids however because of the things we found out when we interrogated them, I personally decided to investigate the whole thing.

There are two-- no wait, I have three reasons why I decided to investigate the whole thing that we found out two days ago;

The first reason is simple, because the emperor is more or less involved because of the necklace the hybrids spoke of that has the empire's seal, logo or whatsoever on it. If we are able to be sure that the emperor is involved in this then it will be the driving force for Cain to be able to do whatever in his power to end the emperor's regime. It will also be beneficial to us because it will narrow down the people who we are going to watch, which is connected to the second reason.

The second reason is that there is a possibility that the new leader of the hybrids has also a connection with the person who stole the forbidden book, the book that can make a person learn and use dark arts or magic that is the reason why there is a sudden increase in old and new monsters around this world. And if that's the case we are also able to find out if the emperor is also connected with that person.

And if the emperor is connected with the person I saw when I entered the mind of the minotaur not long ago, then all I have to do is to actually read the mind of the emperor and see what I can find out.

The third reason is that I want to know if that woman who is the host of the auction and the female lead already has a connection with the emperor. Well, I just want to confirm my hypothesis that she knows the plot of this game I made and whether or not she feels threatened about the changes I made. Of course, she will not know that I am the reason that the plot changed. I am planning to reveal that when the time comes that I will have her executed.

Well, I do not know if that is totally possible because there is a high chance that Cain, the hero and the man that I am going to make as the new emperor will fall in love with her. And if that happens, of course, she will not be executed, she will more likely become the empress of the empire which is so f-cking annoying. And if that really happens, I just have one thing that I could do.

And what is that? Simple, I am going to execute her myself, how? Assassination.

"Yes. And don't worry whatever will happen in that tribe, no one will know that it was us who did it" - I said. Well, I just assured him because I know that he is worried that the emperor might be able to know that the two of us are involved in whatever may happen to the hybrids, knowing that the current leader, the half demon and man person named Herald has a connection with the emperor.

There is a possibility that the necklace he wears can send signals to the emperor, or maybe messages of the some sort, however, that thing is not invisible and powerful, I could always do something to make that thing not work.

Well, I cannot blame him for being too conscious of our actions because technically we two are already companions, and I technically made a deal with him that I am going to help him oust the emperor of this kingdom and if I got caught of course, who would help him achieve his goals? And most probably he will get supervised by the emperor as well because there are a lot of instances that we are seen together.

And the people who hated Cain for having jet black hair will take this opportunity to bring him down.

"Alarick, Aesir remember to make sure that no one in that tribe will interfere later and as much as possible you have to bring them to where the others are got it?" - I said to the two who are already busy fixing themselves because we are about to leave. According to Kenzo, without using the teleportation scrolls, it will take us about three days to reach the place where the Hybrids are staying, and that is if we are not planning on sleeping every night or taking a short break.

And if we do, it will take us about almost four days to reach the place. And because I cannot waste that much time, last night I made a few teleportation scrolls so that it will be easy for us to travel. Of course, Cain asked on how am I able to get such number of teleportation scrolls and I just told him that I have my ways on acquiring it, especially the fact that I can pay even if the one selling doubles the price of each scrolls.

However, the truth is that I made the scrolls we are using and it will stay as a secret until the right time comes.

"Kenzo, you already know what to do right?" -I asked Kenzo, the dark elf I bought and the supposed to be leader of the hybrid and as I move my gaze to look at him, I could see that he is looking intently on the necklace that the previous leader of the hybrids gave him. The necklace that is connected to the Elven Goddess and the reason why the hybrids we saved believed in him; believed that he is not a monster and that he has retained his sanity.

The reason also why the hybrids were able to realize that they were completely tricked by that man named Herald.

Yesterday, we planned on how are we able to make that man, Herald regret all his actions. And of course, to make it dramatic. I said that Kenzo should be the one to enter the place first and the three of us are going sneak around the place. Aesir and Alarick are going to do their job in ensuring the safety of the other hybrids, and of course forcefully transport them to the place where the hybrids we saved two days ago are staying.

I am sure that the appearance of Kenzo will create a fuss and this Herald guy will surely get angry and more or less, fight Kenzo. As Kenzo's master, well I am his master already because we already signed a contract; a contract that is similar to what Alarick and Aesir have. I actually ordered him to use every potential that he is hiding and I have two reasons for that; first is to make it look like he is simply back to take what is rightfully his, which is none other than the throne and second is for me to see how he good he actually is.

Other than him being my familiar, I also had Alarick and Aesir introduce themselves as guardians of the spirit realm. Well, they introduced themselves in their wolf form and I really cannot help but to laugh at that moment when I saw Kenzo's reaction.

Well, he is so shocked that his jaws even dropped at he cannot speak for about an hour. And when all the information has been processed inside his head, he immediately bowed down in front of Aesir and Alarick.

"Kenzo" -I called out to him once again and that is the time when he finally looked at me.

"Of course, my lady. I cannot wait to beat that man to death" - he said which instantly made me grin. That is actually the answer that I am waiting for.

I want him to beat that man to death, no I actually want him to instantly kill that Herald guy but because I still need something from him, I cannot let Kenzo do that. Well, I am still going to let Kenzo kill him anyways I do what I need to do.

I looked at Alarick and Aesir and I nod my head, which is a sign that we need to go now, because the sun is almost setting and we cannot be late at the venue. Why did I specifically choose evening as a time to go there and do what is planned?

Because having a fight during the evening is a lot more exciting than having it when the sun is high up in the sky. Not to mention that our target is half demon, so he feels the strongest during the night. I simply just want to see how well does he actually fights especially that he is wielding a cursed sword and who knows who gave that shit to him in the first place.

Well, actually that curse sword is one of the reason why I also want to meet that guy, well I am planning on taking it as a f-cking souvenir, an addition to my collection because we'll never know, it might be quite useful to me in the future.
