F-ck I know that emperor is a good for nothing bastard, however I never thought that he is going to be greatly connected to the person we are going to hunt down for stealing the forbidden book and from disrupting the f-cking balance of this world.

I looked at Cain and I can feel his rage. He is f-cking mad. Damn I bet his familiar already told him what that cursed sword is.

But the question is. What is the f-cking purpose of that bastard emperor? Why is he collaborating with someone who kills people just for fun—or is it really just for f-cking fun?

"And after Herald defeated Alexander, the majority agreed that he is to be the next tribe leader. However, some, including us waited for Kenzo's return. He is our only hope because we too know that having Herald as the tribe leader will surely create complications for all of us.

However, it's been days, until days turned into weeks and weeks turned into two months and Kenzo has not came back yet. Until Herald announced that Kenzo turned into a monster which was then killed by the Imperial Knights of the Emperor.

We can't believe the news, however Herald showed us Kenzo's necklace, a necklace that is given to him by the previous chief of the tribe. It is the elves trademark and Kenzo, having half of an elven royal blood, it was bestowed upon him by the chief.

And so when that evidence was presented to us, we believed all the things Herald said and we followed his orders." - The werewolf said which instantly made me move my gaze to Kenzo and I can clearly see that he has this deep frown on his face. And then I saw him touching his neck, and so I moved my gaze to there and I cannot help but to let out a curse because on his neck is a necklace.

And it has the symbol of elves.

"The f-ck you all are so dumb that you believed a fake necklace. The f-ck how dumb can you get? I thought Hybrids are inherently intelligent but you just f-cking proved me wrong" - I said and I intentionally made my tone harsh because, I want them to feel ashamed of themselves for not realizing that they were played by that Herald guy, the hybrid literally manipulated his chess pieces well.

The hybrids looked at me like they don't know what exactly I am saying which instantly made me roll my eyes. What the f-ck? Are they stupid? I raise my right hand and I snapped my fingers and automatically the necklace disappeared from Kenzo's neck and it appeared on my hand.

Kenzo, was quite shocked of what happened and I know that he is about to panic to I instantly mind linked him that I have his necklace and that I am going to return it after asking a few questions to his previous tribesmen, previous because he is no longer part of the tribe.

He is a dark elf and obviously they cannot accept dark elves.

"Let me ask you this question, is this the necklace you are talking about?" - I said and as if on cue all their eyes are shifted on me and in just a matter of seconds those eyes of theirs immediately widened.

"H-h-how?" - The werewolf blurted out and I can clearly see that he is very confused of what is actually going on. As he had said a while ago, this Herald guy showed them a necklace that the chief of the tribe had given to Kenzo, which is also a proof that Kenzo is a hybrid bron out of the love of a human and a royal elven. However, right now that same necklace is in my hands.

"This necklace is around Kenzo's neck all along, the moment I bought him I already noticed this one. So, how could that Herald guy, which is your new tribe leader or let's say chief can show you this necklace?" - I asked and all of them seemed quite confused of what I am talking about. F-ck I am just simply saying that they were played, tricked that the necklace was the real deal to make them believe that Kenzo is already dead so that he could be the next chief. Because if he did not do such thing, for sure there are still going to be hybrids that will assume that Kenzo is still alive and kicking and that he will come back and take the responsibility of being the leader or the chief.

Of course, there has to be some kind of trick why the heck that Herald guy was able to make them believe that the necklace he showed during that time is the real deal.

And of course, I lied that I noticed this necklace of his the moment I set my eyes on him. Of course, I did not notice it because I am more focused on his abilities and how fascinated I am that he was able to retain his sanity despite being a monster.

This will be easy if only Aesir and Alarick will do the appraisal because they are the guardians of the spirit realm and of course, it is only natural for them to know what is the legitimate thing from the fake one. But of course, they cannot do the appraisal in here with Cain and the other Hybrids are watching.

"That's the real deal, Mila. That necklace is the one the prevented the young lad in losing his sanity while he is undergoing changes on his body" - Alarick said

"Yes, instead of our appraisal, a drop of Kenzo's blood will do to prove it. " - Aesir continued

So, there is another way eh-- that is good because I really do not want to risk Aesir and Alarick doing the appraisal. And I also don't want to do it.

"Kenzo, how can we know if this necklace of yours, that you have the entire time." - I said and I stood up from my seat and I started walking towards Kenzo's direction. He tend looked at me with a frown on his forehead.

"Its legitimacy will be proven if the guardians of the spirit world will appraise it." - He said which made me nod my head. Well, that is good that he knows what to do. I expect no less to a lad who is supposed to become the leader or the chief of the tribe of the hybrids, not to mention was able to retain his sanity.

"Are there any other methods because we do not have the guardians here at the moment" - I said of course, it is a lie. Why would I really say that the guardians of the spirit world, Aesir and Alarick are with us at this moment.

Kenzo, frown went deeper, as if he is skeptical if there is indeed another way to prove that this necklace on my hand, the same necklace he was wearing the whole time now is the legitimate necklace given to him by the previous chief of the tribe.

"I read a book once, that there is another way to prove this necklace legitimacy and guess what, it will only need a drop of the owner's blood" - I said and I can feel that the Hybrids are staring at me with confused gazes, even Kenzo. I know that he is quite skeptical about the information I just gave because how can he not know it in the first place, and the worst thing is that a 'mere' human being knows it and has written it in a book which then I was able to read.

Well, a lie doesn't really have to be that perfect. What matters the most is that they have this confused look in their faces that makes them think if what I just said is the truth or not.

"My familiars, the guardians told that information to me so you do not have to have that skeptical look on your face, Kenzo. You have to f-cking trust me, that is if you want to prove to them that they are being tricked by this arch nemesis of yours that is named Herald" - I said using mind link to Kenzo. And the moment I said that, the skeptical look he had on his face disappeared and also he is not even frowning anymore.

After a few more steps I am already right in front of him.

"How much blood do it need?" - He asked

"Only a drop, if I remember correctly" - I replied and as if on cue, he bit his thumb and it created a small cut which then let the blood from inside his body to come out.

I put the necklace on the palm of my hand, facing upwards.

"Do it" - I ordered him, and he immediately followed. He put is thumb a few meters away from the necklace and he let his blood drop to it.

The moment his blood collided with the necklace, it suddenly glowed. And the glow it emits is not golden or white, but the color is light green. The same color as the wind magic he just used a while ago. I actually thought that is all the proof the necklace could give the Hybrids in order for them to believe that they were tricked when suddenly.

The green light expanded and it consumed all of us and the next thing I saw is that everything around us turned green.

"What happened?" - One of the hybrids asked and if I knew I would gladly tell him what is going on, but of course I did not know so the f-ck I am mandated to stay quiet until I got the gist of what is happening.

"Welcome, Heir of the Royal Bloodline of the Elves. I have been waiting for you for almost 4 years now" - we suddenly heard a woman's voice and I instantly look around to know where that voice is coming from and just as when I turned around I saw a lady, more like a lady formed out of air. The air is not transparent, instead it is colored green, the same color of Kenzo's wind.

"She is the elven goddess, Mila. She is the one who directly protects the elves" - Alarick

"And she is under our direct order. Do not worry. She already knows not to mention our existence" - Aesir added to what Alarick just said in our mind link.

When I heard that, I just cannot help but to let out a grin because this night keeps on getting more exciting, because I am able to know a lot of things. Things that I can use against the empire of course and so that I can manipulate my pieces well to the point that no one is going to escape from my clutches.
