“Twenty Thousand Gold Coins” – and when I yelled that bid of mine, I can feel the people’s stares, what? They can’t believe that I just bid for such a huge amount when in the first place I wasn’t even bidding in any item presented? Oh well, I am just saving the best for last—oh wait this isn’t the last because I am still planning on buying all the hybrids here in this auction event.

“Okay, we have our first bidder with Twenty Thousand Gold Coins, does anyone who wants to increase the bid?” – the woman on the center said and I immediately smelled how annoyed she was. I guess she is not expecting me to bid for the dark elf at such a high amount. Well, I have money so its never going to be a problem.

“I can’t believe that you are bidding for a dangerous item” – Cain whispered and I just let out a chuckle. Well, I am quite unpredictable and that Dark Elf is indeed going to be useful to me, especially the fact that he was able to retain his rationality, memories and of course his emotions so he will be able to help me in tracking down whoever is behind this event and of course, I can always ask him to be the one to do my missions when I have something to do, then it will be easy for us to sustain our income.

The woman in front of the stage then raised her hand and she said;

However, before she could even finish what she is about to say to finally announce that I have won the item, a baritone voice echoed around the hall.

“Twenty thousand and five hundred gold coins” – I immediately tracked down who said that and I can’t help but to grin when I saw the same man that I deemed to have a familiar presence. Well, I guess he is also quite rich just like me and more importantly he seems to have interest with the dark elf as well.

“Can you really get me out of here?” – The Dark Elf, Kenzo asked and I can’t help but to laugh and I know that he also heard my laugh on his mind. Who does he think I am? Oh wait—he does not know me just yet, he is completely clueless of my identity, the only thing he knows is that I have the two guardians as my familiar so, of course he would not know.

“Calm your ass because I can bid a bit more higher” – I simply replied as I once again raise my number and I uttered my bid, a bid that no one can not even that man can exceed.

“Five Gold Bars for the Dark Elf”

And as if on cue, all of the heads of the nobility present in this auction turned their heads at my direction and I can clearly see it in their eyes that they are quite shocked to hear what did I just bid.

One Gold Bar is already equivalent to twenty thousand cold coins, so multiply it by five then they are going to have a hundred thousand gold coins which can already make them so damn f-cking rich.

“What? You cannot bid –” – Cain exclaimed but before he could even finish what he is about to say, I immediately put my fore finger on his lips to make him shut up. Five gold bars are not really a loss for me because I have a hundred of those. How can I have lots of gold bars when they are actually considered as rare? Well, it is simple, I was able to find them two years ago when I remembered that in the story line, the female lead is going to encounter a treasure map in the imperial library. She was clueless of what is in that treasure map so she asked the crown prince to help her and when the two of them went into an expedition they found a hundred of gold bars.

And because I am a villainess, I immediately ceased the chance to grab that map and have that treasure to my own.

“What the – how can you have gold bars?” – The Dark Elf, Kenzo asked, but I just ignored his question. I am not going to explain to him where and how I am able to get my hands on such a precious item.

I noticed how the eyes man who went against me twinkled, as if he has been satisfied with what I just did. Or he was simply entertained with my surprise? Anyways, whatever it is, I really don’t give a damn, he should just stay out of my way because if he doesn’t then I am going to make sure that he will always lose in the end.

On the other hand, the woman on the center looked at me with the usual eyes full of hatred. Like what the heck is her problem? She has been looking at me that way ever since she stepped on the middle of the stage. Not to mention that her bloodlust is also increasing, I guess she really wants to kill me right now.

Well, I cannot wait for her to actually do that because I badly need someone to spice up my life. Well and I think she is worth it because I if we are going to fight then I am also able to confirm if my hypothesis is right or wrong. If my hypothesis is correct then I will make sure to know who she is in her past life and compare and contrast our circumstances.

“Going once... Going twice… “– she stated and I can feel her hesitation to actually consider the dark elf as sold to me, but of course she has no damn choice because no one can actually exceed my offer. Well, unless they are going to put at stake their whole assets, but of course, human beings are not going to do that especially if they are so in love with the status of being rich. Those who can gamble their whole assets are people who went through hell already and does not give much damn if they are going to lose some more of their assets.

And those kinds of people are the ones I call as the lower devils of Satan, himself because those kinds of people are scarier than people think they are. What makes them scary? The fact that they are not afraid to lose anything or even to get killed is what makes them scary.

“Sold to number 666!” – She exclaimed and I can sense how disappointed she is because no one is able to exceed my build.

Damn, I did not realize that the number I have is 666, which is considered to be the number of the devil in my past life. Well, anyways, I am indeed going to be devil in this world anyways.

She was then about to speak again, and I know what she is going to say. And that is the item will just be delivered to me. But I am not going to agree to that. I instantly unblocked Aesir and Alarick in my mind.

“Have you found them all?” – I asked the two, because the moment we took our seats, I already gave them an instruction that they should start locating where the hybrids are located because once I gave them my goal signal then we are going to proceed in saving all of the hybrids that are imprisoned in this place.

So technically, we are not going to wait for the moment that they are to be seen by the nobility. That’s quite a waste of time, not to mention that I finally got what I want.

“Yes, there are twenty of them around the place. Ten are already getting nearer” – Aesir said and as if on cue I stood up from my seat which once again caught the attention of not only the host of this event but also the nobility around us.

“No need. I would like to see the item up close” – I said and before that woman could even protest to what I just I immediately snapped my fingers and in just a blink of an eye I am already in front of the cage and the woman is just two meters away from me. I can see in my peripheral vision that she was quite taken aback of what I just did.

I can also feel the change in aura of Cain, which means that he too was quite shocked of what I just did. Anyways, I can always find the right lie to explain to him why am I able to do what I just did.

I placed on the ground the bag I am holding which contains the five gold bars that I just bid in order to get this Dark Elf

“Open the cage” – I ordered but the men that are on guard did not even move an inch. I guess they have not heard what I just said or they do not want to do it.

“Kenzo right?” – I communicated with the dark elf I just bought and I can clearly see how his head raise up and right now we are looking at each other’s eyes.

“How are you able to know my name?”

“The guardians told it to me, but that’s not really that important now. What magic could you do?” – I asked and I could clearly see his frowning face. I guess he is quite curious on what magic could he actually do. Maybe I should just f-cking go direct to the dan f-cking point “Can you cast a magic spell that is like a smokescreen?” – He then nods his head and I instantly commented ‘perfect’

“The moment I opened the cage and I let you out, count up to them and cast your spell. We are going to save the assess of a few hybrids up next for the auction” – I said and I noticed how he clenched his two hands into fists. I guess he also know that there are hybrids around the place that is to be auctioned as well.

If I am right then the reason why he badly wants to get out of the imprisonment and find someone who can trust is also to protect the hybrids that are to be auctioned at this moment.

“Aesir, Alarick, tell Cain that when the smokescreen is already active the three of you will immediately go to save each and every hybrid you are to see.” – I said to the two using our mind link

“Roger Mila!” -The two replied, I heard them inform Cain and I can feel that the three are already getting ready for my signal.

“Are you not going to open this cage up?” – I asked

“The cage is not to be opened out in the open, not until both of you have the slave seal” – The woman host said which made me shrug my shoulders. I encircled my two hands on the bars of the cage, I closed my eyes and I counted one to five. When it reaches five, I immediately pulled the bar that I am holding and as if on cue, I am able to remove the grills that seals him inside the cage.

I slowly put down the grill that I removed just by using my physical strength.

“Come out now – I said and Kenzo, the dark elf immediately followed my command and when he got out, I was able to see his body up close and I can’t help but to notice the wounds that he has on his body, not to mention his mana is getting low.

I am sure that he is not going to last a minute in casting the smokescreen like spell, so I immediately grabbed his hand and I began transferring some of my dark mana to him.

“Do your job well, I spend a hundred cold goings for you” – I said and he nod his head, he managed to reply calmly despite the fact that he is quite shocked on how his mana was actually restored.

“Now let’s do it” – I said addressed to Aesir and Alarick because the counting reached five already.

“Do it” – I mouthed at him and as in on cue magic circles appeared on both of his hands, even on the back of his head and on his knee caps.

“Creation Magic: Smokescreen” – He whispered and as if on cue purple smoke started to appear from every power of the hall. The people are starting to panic because of the sudden event and when the smokescreen reached where I was sitting a while ago, I instantly felt the three-presence of the persons I am with are already gone, which only means that they are already on it.
