"Welcome, Heir of the Royal Bloodline of the Elves. I have been waiting for you for almost 4 years now" - we suddenly heard a woman's voice and I instantly look around to know where that voice is coming from and just as when I turned around I saw a lady, more like a lady formed out of air. The air is not transparent, instead it is colored green, the same color of Kenzo's wind.

"She is the elven goddess, Mila. She is the one who directly protects the elves" - Alarick

"And she is under our direct order. Do not worry. She already knows not to mention our existence" - Aesir added to what Alarick just said in our mind link.

When I heard that, I just cannot help but to let out a grin because this night keeps on getting more exciting, because I am able to know a lot of things. Things that I can use against the empire of course and so that I can manipulate my pieces well to the point that no one is going to escape from my clutches.

"It is quite nice to see you grown into a fine man, Kenzo. Your father is right, you will become someone worthy of the throne of being the elven king" - The elven goddess said and I cannot help but to feel excited about what I am about to find out regarding elves and of course, regarding Kenzo's bloodline. Well, of course technically he is mine-- I mean that I own him because I spent five gold bars to save his ass from being used by those dirty nobles and of course, I simply just found him interesting.

And what did this elven goddess just said? Kenzo is worthy of the throne of being the elven king? So, that means that his father is supposed to be the prince of the elven race but of course, since he fell in love with a human he was sent away by his family and denounced from his title. Damn, so this means that he is the same as Cain. The two are supposed to be princes but they are not able to experience the luxury of being the crown prince because of their own nasty circumstances.

"Yes, although you have turned into a dark elf, you are still the rightful crown prince of the elven race. I know you are quite curious on how am I able to say that. Well, it is because I have not really done anything to help you in being able to retain your sanity and not be consumed by the poison that entered your body.

You were able to do that using your will to live and of course, your own skills. And all I can do is watch you from this realm because you do not really need my help" - She said and I cannot believe that this hybrid is able to accomplish such thing. Well, I guess it is always mind over matter, I bet he is thinking that he should not die in that moment because there are still a lot of things that he needs to do and of course, it is obvious that he is thought that he needs to go back to the hybrid tribe because he has the responsibility to be their next leader, chief or whatsoever.

"W-wait a minute, if the Elven Goddess is here then the necklace that Herald showed us was fake?" - one of the hybrids said. And I cannot help but to roll my eyes. Damn they could have realized it the moment the necklace immediately reacted when Kenzo dropped his blood on it.

Well, anyways, I cannot totally blame them in the first place because they do not know this method and even I do not know that another method exists. Alarick and Aesir are the ones who actually informed about such important information.

Having the guardians as your familiar comes really quite handy especially in times like these.

"What are you saying young hybrid of the foxes?" -The Elven goddess asked and she suddenly passed through my whole body and right now she is right in front of the hybrid that just spoke a while ago, who actually asked an obvious question if the necklace that the hybrid named Herald, which is their new tribe leader or chief showed to them to prove that Kenzo turned into a monster, a dark elf and was killed by the imperial knights of the emperor.

When the elven goddess passed through me, I felt cold. It is a familiar cold breeze, I know that I felt it before. However, it is not in this world, I felt the same breeze in my past life when I went to Bali, Indonesia for a vacation after a stressful month of finalizing the game my company developed before this game that I am in.

"Elven Goddess, I beg your pardon but there is this hybrid named Herald, who showed a similar necklace to us months ago to prove that Kenzo, the rightful person to be the hybrids' leader dead for he was killed by the imperial knights because he is said to turn into a monster" - one of the hybrids answered instead of the kid. Of course, it would be best if the adults will be the one to explain to the Elven Goddess what actually happened because young hybrids, though they are not oblivious of what is going on around them, they still cannot properly translate what they saw and experienced into concrete words that will not confuse anyone and will surely not revise the whole story or event.

"Herald? That half demon and human ?" - The Elven Goddess asked and the hybrids, as well as Kenzo frowned at her question. As if they are thinking that the Elven Goddess may have mixed up names.

"Alarick, Aesir, do you know who is this Herald guy?" - I asked the two while I kept my eyes focused on the hybrids who seem to be so confused.

"If I remember correctly, he was that troublesome kid that the previous leader is worried about." -Aesir answered

"I think that was the same child who almost killed another hybrid because he was pissed off. And when he reached the age of eleven, he was sentenced to stay alone and repent inside the cave of the spirits because he once again almost killed a fellow hybrid out of anger" - Alarick added to what Aesir just said which made me grin secretly. Oh so, that Herald guy clearly got f-cking anger issues. Wait-- no he could actually pass in an audition for being future serial killers if he was born in my past life. Well, that is also quite unusual actually, for a hybrid to have such anger issues and not to mention his killing intent was obvious.

Of course, he will not be sentenced to stay alone and repent inside the cave of spirits if he does not emit quite a strong killing intent.

"No, Herald is a child born from a human and a kelpie" - Kenzo said and the Elven Goddess looked at him.

"Then, is this the man you are talking about?" -He asked and as if on cue, I felt the wind around us suddenly moved in circular motion and in just a matter of seconds the winds formed a figure of a human being right in front of us. I know it is the ability of the Elven Goddess but I cannot also help but to be impressed on how well spirits are able to manipulate their elements. I have not really seen how Alarick and Aesir manipulate their own elements but I believe that it is much more amazing than what this Elven Goddess just did.

What she did is comparable to what a hologram would do in my past life.

I move my gaze back to the hybrids and they all looked like they are so shocked, not only them but also Alarick and Aesir.

"That is him" - Kenzo said while frowning and I saw how the Elven Goddess shook her head for reasons that only she know, but I kinda got as well.

"He is also the same man name Herald that I told you that is the fruit of the union between demon and human" - she said and the hybrids especially Kenzo got this look shocked look on their faces. As if heaven and earth suddenly dropped on their heads.

"Why are you two shocked as well? You are guardians how can you not know this shit?" - I asked Aesir and Alarick

"We are indeed supposed to know, you see Mila. The information we have of the different hybrids and spirits are only given to us in summary by their heads, chiefs or leaders. In other words, we do not really meet them one on one" - Alarick

"Yes, and we trust them to give us the complete details of one's origin, especially when it comes to hybrids. Hybrids that are the result of the union of a demon and a human is not totally prohibited, however we guardians are supposed to watch over them because demons indeed have anger issues, and if not controlled they can kill without feeling any remorse" - Aesir

I can't help but to grit my teeth. The f-ck? So in other words, the previous leader of the hybrids gave Alarick and Aesir wrong information about this man named Herald? The f-ck? Why would he f-cking do that?

"However, it is also possible that his demon blood has been sealed so the previous leader did not bother to tell us, because we too felt that he was just a normal kelpie. A kelpie is a lake horse that can transform into a human being and also has anger issues" - Aesir added to what she said.

"But the question is, who the heck broke the seal that contains his demonic powers?" - Alarick asked out loud and I also cannot help but to ponder on the question he just asked. However, there is only one person that I could think of that is possibly behind this shit.

And that is none other than that person who stole the forbidden book of dark magic, the one behind the sudden increase of monsters, not to mention that new ones are appearing everyday, that he or she is also obviously turning human beings into monsters. But the question is now, if that person is indeed the reason behind why this seal, if there is indeed seal was broken, then what is his or her connection with the emperor?

Because as what the hybrids had said a while ago, the emperor is obviously involved and there is only one thing that I could do to find out their objective or objectives in creating such dangerous fuss. I walked towards the only person that I could use at the moment, my most important chess piece, my creation and the person that will surely protect me when the time comes.

"Cain, let's talk" - I said and as if on cue, he turned his gaze towards me. Now, I just need to ask him to do what I just thought of doing in times like these.
