Route 1: Bandits and Ice Part 3

**Third Person’s Point of View**

The Ice Knights charged at the bandits, eliminating them one by one. Scarlet Aubrielle cannot help but to be amazed on what she is seeing right now - well, with all honesty she didn’t really expect that the training that she suggested for the knights to do in preparation for the subjugation of the dungeon will really help them improve greatly.

Right now, she is appraising every knight and she really is proud that all of them increased their abilities in just a short time which not only shows that they have indeed put their trust on her but also it proves that they really take their jobs seriously. However, there is two individuals who have much improvement in just a few days - and those are Theo and Lucas.

With all honesty, she already expected that Lucas will drastically improve after the training that she gave because that is the training that he also did in the game in order to control his mana and make sure that he will be able to use his mana blade. Right now, Scarlet Aubrielle can clearly see that the mana inside his body is already flowing regularly however, it is still not enough for him to be able to use the mana blade in a long period of time.

“Well, the important thing is, he will already able to use it” that is what she thought and at the same time, she also can’t help but to think whether or not Lucas have already tried using mana blade because if he already did then he’d probably be amused too of the sudden improvement. However, there is also nothing wrong if he still hadn’t done so that only means that she would be able to see his reaction and also be able to guide him in the process.

But of course, she also thought that it would be suspicious if she continuously give off some hints to Lucas and that it wouldn’t be that good if she is helping a male lead that is about to go through some challenges first before improving himself. The thing is, she also wants the male lead, Lucas Williams who is destined to be the sword saint be able to achieve that position exactly how he did in the game.

But now, since she literally did him a favor then of course, Lucas will surely treat it as a debt and so that it already one reason for him not to kill her in the future.

Other than Lucas, Theo’s improvement is also worth taking note of. Well, she cannot deny the fact that Theo’s abilities are already superb and those abilities are enhanced through the experiences he have attained just by being by Calyx’s but right now, she can see that there is still a lot to imporve and she have decided that she will help him improve not for her sake but for her brother’s.

Scarlet Aubrielle thought that it would also be a good thing if Theo’s abilities will also improve so that he would be able to help her brother well and ensure his safety. Well, she knows that Calyx doesn’t really need help but then again, she is just making sure because again her goal is not to let the original plot of the game happens.

While Scarlet Aubrielle is looking at the Ice knights and assessing how much they have improved she suddenly noticed that there are presences approaching her, so she turn her head towards the direction of where the presence is coming from and there she saw the leader of the bandits and some of his henchmen”

“My lady!!” she heard Theo yelled and worry is evident from his tone and it is normal because she is about to get attacked by individuals who are heavily armed and that she doesn’t even have her sword with her to be able to protect herself and again, Calyx has entrusted Scarlet Aubrielle to him and he has the duty of protecting her and if something happens to her, not only that Calyx will not be able to forgive him but also he will not be able to forgive himself.

However, Scarlet Aubrielle is not even worried - not even the slightest because even if she doesn’t have her sword with her Gladius, there is still another weapon that she can rely on and that is none other than magic.

“Do you really think that I am just a simple young lady of a noble family? Well, if that is the case then let me show you who I am” that is what she said and then a magic circle appeared on her palm and then the moment that she swayed her right hand to the right ice started to form on the ground.

But that is not all, with a snap of her fingers the ground that has turned into ice suddenly started to form into something that is familiar to the Ice Knights.

“Freeze them, my snow serpents but leave the leader to me” that is what Scarlet said in a whispering voice and as if on cue, snow serpents indeed appeared and it immediately charged towards the individuals who are about to attack her.

Some of the serpents released an icy breath in order to freeze the individual completely,some have bind their targets and biting a part of their body totally freezing them and one snow serpent who is about to attack the leader of the bandits simply just constricted him and turned half of his body into ice which immobilized him.

Slowly, Scarlet Aubrielle walked on the ground that turned into ice going towards the leader of the bandits and there is something that the people who are seeing her right now that have noticed - that is the fact that her silver hair is glowing and that her whole body is releases an icy aura.

The ten knights of the Elvoi duchy cannot believe what they have witnessed. Ever since the young lady have declared her stance regarding the new dungeon that appeared west of the empire and that they have seen her summoned a snow serpent, they thought already that it was amazing knowing the fact that she didn’t even had her training just yet.

They also have confirmed it with the duke - that the young lady, Scarlet Aubrielle wasn’t really trained by the duchess to use her magic unlike the young master Calyx Shawn. However right now, they didn’t expect to actually witness the young lady not only summon a single snow serpent but multiple of such.

A snow serpent is not a familiar but it has the similar purpose of a familiar. The duchess have revealed that her mother, which is already the young lady’s grandmother have made a contract with the snow serpent to act as a guard of those who carries their bloodline - in short it is more of a trademark. The duchess also revealed to them that the number of snow serpents one can summon is according to how strong and potent one’s mana is.

The duchess and the young master Calyx obviously can summon a handful of snow serpents however it is different for the case of Scarlet Aubrielle because then again Scarlet Aubrielle didn’t have proper training unlike Calyx and so her being able to synchronously summon snow serpents is already a very amazing thing.

“I really don’t want to use my magic as much as possible but you made me do this” that is what Scarlet Aubrielle said and when she reached the bandit she looked down on him - well it is already a given because he is kneeling down and he can’t stand up due to the fact that half of his body is already frozen.

“You.. you are from the north.. how the hell -- no I have never heard of a woman that can wield ice magic other than the duchess of the north so who the hell are you?” that is what the leader of the bandits said the moment that he realized who is it that is right in front of him and that turned half of his body into ice and also the person who froze his henchmen to death.

Scarlet Aubrielle then thought that of course, other people don’t know about her existence because her parents - due to the fact that they are overprotective of her, they have tried to not let the public know that much of information about her.

“Oh, so you know that much huh? But you see, you are not even worthy enough to know who I am. In the first place being killed by my magic is already something that you are priviledged to experience” that is what she said and the leader of the bandits was then about to say something when suddenly Scarlet snappped her fingers and instantly, the body of the bandit turned into ice completely and without second thoughts she just kicked its frozen body, making it shatter into pieces.
