Route 1: THE DREAM 5.0

"Desespoir" - The black dragon growled and as in of cue dark spikes came out from the magic circle and it all went towards Cain's direction and before I even knew it we are already surrounded with dusts and the ground started to shake. Since my eyes are still focused on Cain and the black dragon, I am able to see how Cain slashed the dark spikes into half and those parts landed on the ground which also made the dust particles run loose around us.

I saw Cain bent his knees which is a sign that he is about to jump, but before he could even really jump I dark bars suddenly surrounded him. The dark colored bars came from the spikes he just slashed into two. The bars extended up to the ceiling of the cave-- wait no-- it actually passed through it which then created a hole and the just then the whole ceiling of the cave started to crumble into pieces.

My gaze shifted to the black dragon and I saw him flap his wings and in just a second his body is slowly being lifted on the air and he immediately dashed to the hole that has been made because of his attack. Because of the impact his body has made towards the slowly crumbling cave, rocks started to fall, and even the walls started to shake, the ground is starting to form cracks.

I returned my gaze to Cain who is now trying to figure out how could he escape the imprisonment from the bars that surrounds him. He tried using his swords however there has no damage to it, not even a single scratch. Even his sword which has a magic stone embedded to it won't even do anything.

Of course, that dragon just used an S-Class dark magic that could nullify anything that has a fragment of light magic to it, of course the four elements has fragments of light magic on it so whatever he do he cannot get out of it. Well, the only thing he could do is to jump as high as he can to pass through the hole as well, however, he is also not sure if these bars doesn't move according to the dragon's will. But based from my knowledge that is the best thing he could do, to jump and get out of this place.

I saw him take a step back and he even put back his two swords. My gaze shifted to his hands and I can clearly see the wind forming from it. I can't help but to grin once again because I am not really expecting him to have a wind element.

"Form" - I heard him whisper and as if on cue a pair of wings appeared on his back. A pair of wings that has the color green and I just watched him fly swiftly going towards the hole made by the dragon. He even swiftly dodged all the falling debris

However, I already know that it is not that easy.

"Desespoir" - The black dragon once again growled and as if on cue the bars started to be flexible and it started to follow him, or rather it started to attack him. Once again he swiftly avoided every attack from the bars. However, since his attacks won't affect the things that are following him, all he did was to dodge every attack.

And every attack that he successfully dodge immediately lands on the wall which worsen the crumbling cave.

"Are we not going to leave yet?" - Alarick said which made me heave a deep sigh. I almost forgot that we too should leave this place to get better sight of what is about to happen outside.

"Let's go" - I said and I raised my hands. I gave one last look to Cain who is still struggling in dodging the attacks and when I saw him finally got out of the cave I immediately snap my fingers and in a blink of an eye we are now outside.

The moon is already high up in the sky and it is already quite dark. We are on top of the same tree where we were a while ago and from here I could clearly see the monsters strolling around the forest. My eyes shifted to the cave and I saw how the entrance was completely blocked by the debris and I can also clearly see the hole that the black dragon made; it is actually getting larger and larger and I am no longer gonna be surprised the cave will turn into a landscape.

Then after seeing it my eyes went back to Cain who is on mid air still trying to avoid those things who are following him, the dragon as well in on mid-air flapping its wings while his eyes are watching over Cain's every movements.

Just then, I noticed that Cain's movements became different, he is not merely dodging every attack and flying in the air because right now he is dashing towards the direction where the black dragon is patiently waiting. I can't help but to heave a deep sigh because his plan is never gonna work. What is his plan? Simple, since those things are following and attacking him non-stop he will use the dragon as as shield. It is going to be a win-win situation for him.

However, dragons are not as dumb as he think. Dragons are the the smartest beings ever lived in this world next to the guardians. How did I knew that? From a book, which was written by the grand mage of the magic tower.

I saw him increased his speed and so as those things following him and when he was only an inch away from the dragon he slightly disappeared from sight, however in just a blink of an eye he is now at the back of the dragon and just like what he planned, those things that kept on following him hit the dragons body. I saw him heave a deep sigh, I guess it is because he was right that the things that are following him was able to follow him because it knows it his built, it senses also his temperature.

Yes, he quite did a great job in being able to figuring that shit out in a couple of minutes, however he is still wrong about one thing. Because dragons can absorb their own magic and channel it to other parts of this body that he want to.

I don't want to see what is going to happen but I still kept my eyes on the scene and just like I have said, those things that kept on following Cain passed through the black dragon's body, however there are only two of them now and those two are buried on Cain's right arm and left leg.

I saw him cough blood and I can't help but to heave a deep sigh because of how stupid he is. Seriously he should have researched a lot first about dragons before actually attacking one. I am about to cast light magic to at least heal the pain he is feeling from those wounds but before I could even finish my enchantment I heard him speak and once again I can't help but to be quite amazed on how quick his thinking is
