“You can stop now, Kenzo” – I said and he looked at me if I am actually serious and I just nod my head and I as he slowly makes his creation magic disappear, I also went back to the same position I am a while ago and I snapped my fingers to remove the barrier I made to make us invisible.

After a few minutes the smokescreen finally disappeared and the people can see clearly again. I can see in my peripheral vision how the host which is obviously the female lead looked at our position. I can feel that she is shocked to see that I am right on the spot where I was a while ago, when in fact when she walked on our position the two of us are nowhere to be found,

Well, she should think hard on how did it happen, she should not disappoint me because I expect her to know the answer to how the heck did it happen. Because if she doesn’t then she’s such a f-cking damn waste and I will not use half of my potential to make her beg for mercy.

“Hey! Have you been there all along?!” – she exclaimed which made me turn my head to look at her. Well, of course even though I don’t want to do it, I still have to, it is in order to make things a little bit more dramatic.

“Yes, where the heck should I go in the first place? I just formed a contract with the toy that I bought is there something wrong with that?” – I stated and I even emphasized the word contract. I can see how her eyes went wide; I think she is not expecting what I just said. Well, that only proves that she doesn’t really know how contracts work, because of she did then she wouldn’t be shocked and she could have instantly exclaimed that I am lying.

Because contracts are not actually made like this. It is either both parties will sign a piece of paper with a drop of their blood their or they are going to give each other something that they treasure. What a stupid female lead she is if she does not know that fact. Tsk I am actually quite expecting a lot from her, I guess the only thing she could do right is to flirt with the male leads of this game and use other people for her own gain.

“Anyways, don’t fret too much. This item here is already under my control” – I added and in just a snap of my fingers me I returned to the place where I am sitting a while ago, and also I brought Kenzo with me. Of course, I will not let him stay there in the middle of the stage and walk on his own. For sure if he does not leave that stage, he will surely be continuously questioned and there is a possibility that he is to be captured again. Well, and if that happens, of course, I am going to wreak havoc in this place.

I took my seat and I can clearly see how the nobility followed my every moment, not only that but I can hear their murmurs. Well, I am not supposed to hear it though, it is the fault of my enhanced senses.

“How’s everything?” – I asked Aesir and Alarick through mind link because they haven’t really given me a quick overview on how things went while they are saving all the hybrids. The plan is that they are going to sneak out and one by one transport the hybrids to a safe place. It is a house I rented for this mission.

I put a magic circle on the house which is connected to the teleportation scrolls I gave to Cain. Of course, Cain needs those teleportation scrolls to instantly transfer the hybrids to a safe place. Aesir and Alarick on the other hand does not need any of those in the first place because they can instantly do the teleportation, but of course, I still gave them fake ones so that Cain will not be suspicious.

And oh, I did not really spend money on those teleportation scrolls because I made those myself. Not to mention that I am also the supplier of the teleportation scrolls around the empire. I am really earning quite a lot since I moved to the town I am in, to be exact I am earning twice as what I earn for three months when I am managing the flower shop.

“They are already there in the house, resting” – Aesir

“Yes, and we told them to wait for us. That we just need to finish everything here” – Alarick

“Did you tell them who you exactly are?” – I asked and the two synchronously said yes. Well, I have already expected that they are instantly going to introduce themselves as the guardians of the spirit realm because first and foremost, hybrids are also under their care.

My eyes moved back to the center stage and I could see the men that are on stage started moving, like they are cleaning up the mess we created so that they could proceed in presenting the next item. Well, that is if they can still present something because all of the hybrids are already gone. None of them are left in this place.

“Who are these people, master?” – Kenzo asked on our very own connection which I did not really cut off because this is safer as of the moment. And also, I don’t want these nobles around us know that he can actually speak.

“They are my comrades. You are going to meet them later anyways” – I answered him. I bet he can feel nothing from Aesir and Alarick’s presence, while on the other hand he can feel something different from Cain. Of course, he is able to feel it because first and foremost he is already considered as part of the ‘monsters’ and technically monsters are kind of programmed to be able to sense if a person has magic powers that are of danger to them. And I know that he also gained that ability.

“*ehem* Now, let us proceed to the next item” – the host said, trying to get the attention of all the nobility who are looking at me and of course, she was able to do so, it is not because of how strong her tone of voice is but because these bastards can’t wait to have their fair share of exquisite item.

I bet they are thinking that they are going to get the next item, whatever the cost is and of course, they are probably thinking that I have no money left after spending five gold bars just to buy a Dark Elf.

Well, first things first I have lots of money and if I want to, I can buy every item that they are going to present. Second thing is that, they are not going to get anything anymore, because of the goods the organizers of this event are about to sell are all gone.

And before I could even say number one in my mind, a man came rushing towards the host and then he whispered something to her. And I could clearly see from my seat how her eyes went wide and I can even sense that she is starting to panic because of the sudden change in her aura.

Then she turned to the audience and the next thing she said instantly made all the nobles gasp and of course, they started to bad mouth the event and the management.

“Ladies and Gentlemen, we regret to inform you that we have no more items to be placed on the center stage and because of this we are no going to close the event. However, we are going to send you an invitation to another event for free as a compensation for tonight’s happening”

I immediately stood up from my seat.

“Let’s go, there’s nothing to do here anymore. What a waste of time” – I said, loud enough for half of the nobility to hear. And when after I said, Cain immediately stood up from his seat and once again, he lends me his hand which I accepted.

We started walking towards the exit, as the three followed behind us. But other than that, I could also feel that someone is staring at me and is sending me daggers. Honestly, if looks can kill I am probably dead by now.

I already know who is giving me that kind of look, and that is none other than the female lead who is the host of this event. I really want to know the reason why is she looking at me like that. Does she actually know that Cain will be present in tonight’s auction event? But how the heck is she able to know when no one should be able to do so because we became so careful with our movements.

Second how did she know which is which? Because honestly, I saw a few people who are wearing the same mask as Cain, so in other words the mask he is wearing is actually quite common, and ours on the other hand are quite unique.

I also can’t help but to wonder how is she able to know exactly where Cain is sitting?

Like f-ck something is really weird in that female lead. Makes me want to think that she knows something about this world, but how is she able to do so? Anyways, I am going to make sure that I am going to solve this mystery, if not now or if not soon then I will surely be able to connect the dots in the future.

I still have enough time to do so anyways, I still have until next year to finish all the things that is needed to be done.

We are almost about to leave the hall, when suddenly a familiar voice called out to us—or rather to me.

“Lady, do you have a minute?” – I recognize his voice and the aura he is giving off. He is none other than the man who went against me in the bidding and the same man who I am looking for a while ago because his aura, not to mention his presence is way too familiar to me.

It feels like I have met this person long ago, but I can’t exactly remember who the f-ck he is.

“I would like to apologize mister, but I have nothing to say to you” – I just said and without thinking twice, I instantly turned my back against him I we continued walking.

The five of us just continued to walk, not minding the noise coming from the nobles who are complaining on how their time was wasted, and some of them are also complaining on how I am able to instantly win the bid, how I am able to get my hands on gold bars, if those gold bars are true and who exactly I am.

Human beings, seriously they are so pathetic. If I am going to be given a chance, I’d rather become a spirit than a human being. After a few more minutes of walking, the five of us finally reached our carriage.

Cain opened the door and I immediately entered it, the next one to enter is Cain, the next is Aesir, then Alarick and the next one is Kenzo.

Alarick was the one who closed the door and he locked it.

“Let’s go back” – I said to the coachman and the carriage instantly started moving. I snapped my fingers and automatically, a barrier is formed around the carriage. A barrier that prevents anyone from actually eavesdropping on our conversation and more importantly this barrier blocks any magic.

I instantly remove my mask and so as Cain, Aesir and Alarick.

“Our mission is finally accomplished” – I stated and Cain instantly nod his head while Aesir and Alarick just stood silent beside me, While Kenzo, the dark elf I just bought from the auction looks confused.

“What is going on here?” – He unconsciously said which made me chuckle on my mind.
