“Now the f-cking drama is done, let us start with the interrogation. Aesir, you go treat the two while we are at it. We will talk while you are at it because we cannot waste any more time” – I said and the hybrids just looked at me, Cain is doing the same thing as well while Kenzo on the other hand seems to be dumfounded and I just can’t help but to grin.

Why? Because I let him see a glimpse of what is happening around the barrier, I just created a while ago. It is obviously that he already got an idea of who Alarick and Aesir is and that’s actually great, because I am able to prove to him that I am the master of the two guardians of the spirit realm that watch over them.

I sat down once again on the sofa and I immediately crossed both my arms and legs. Why did I cross both my arms and my legs? It is so that they will feel inferior to me. It is actually a technique used if a person wants to impose fear to the person he or she is talking to, fear that he or she is on a greater level that can’t easily be exceeded.

“Now, first question I have is how did you actually got imprisoned by those people? If I know correctly you are supposed to be hiding in order to avoid monsters. Like what the heck? You guys are avoiding monsters but you got caught by human beings? That’s so pathetic” – I said with full of sarcasm in the tone of my voice. Of course, what happened to them is really pathetic. They are trying their best to hide themselves to the monsters that lurks during the night yet some of them either got killed or turned into monsters themselves like what happened to Kenzo right here who luckily was able to retain his ‘elfness’ or whatever they may actually call it. And the other thing that is so pathetic is that as they try their best to stay hidden and avoid the monsters, they were captured by human beings instead, human beings who wanted to gain profit from their existence.

Like what the f-ck? They should have also taken into consideration the threat human beings pose to them and not only monsters. Duh? Whoever their leader is, f-ck he or she is so damn f-cking pathetic. That person should step down from his or her seat immediately.

I looked at the hybrids and they all looked at each other, as if they are communicating with their eyes—well it is not as if, they are indeed communicating with their eyes. They are obviously battling whether or not they are to answer my question with full honestly or are they going to filter it.

Well, either way, I can always find out if they are indeed telling the truth. Actually, I can use my powers in order to get into their memories and see it to myself but of course, but doing that is also impossible with Cain here in this house.

That dragon in his body would instantly notice that something seems off because that dragon is not stupid. I know that he has noticed something the moment I used the spell ‘revert’ that’s why Cain has been keeping an eye on me the whole time.

F-ck. I am really so damn f-cking careless these days.

“All of us here came from royal bloods of our own kind and Herald said that the emperor wants to meet us half bloods to discuss treaty matters. He said that the emperor is willing to protect us hybrids, so as half royal bloods, Herald sent us to go to the imperial castle to speak with the emperor.

We left our place when we saw the sun has risen to avoid the monsters everything is going smoothly, we are traveling normally but when we are about to cross the border, suddenly these men that wears black clothes and masks surrounded us. We are about to fight back however; we did not expect that they have a tool that will stop us from using our powers.

And before we could even try and make some of us escape, we suddenly felt so weak to move and we lost our consciousness. The moment we opened our eyes we are already inside a cage. “– The werewolf lengthily said which instantly made me frown. What? The emperor wants to meet them in order to discuss a f-cking treaty?

The f-ck the treaty itself is so damn suspicious already. Did they not question what kind of treaty it is? F-ck do they not know what kind of man is the emperor? If they do, they could have refused instantly when their newly elected tribe leader said that shit.

I looked at Cain and he as well is frowning. I bet he already knows that something is damn f-cking wrong.

“How can that bastard be the next leader?” – Kenzo suddenly exclaimed which made me shift my gaze to him and I noticed how dark his expression is, not to mention that he is also clenching his hands into ball fist. I bet there is something wrong with that Herald guy that is why he is mad as f-ck.

“There is no one willing to take the position. He volunteered himself to be the leader and we cannot do anything about it because he is a lot more powerful than before, even Alexander lost” – One of the hybrids said and I can see how Kenzo frowned because of what that guy said. I guess that this Alexander hybrid guy got quite a reputation in the tribe.

“How can that be f-cking possible? Alexander is the next person to me who is considered to be the strongest of the previous tribe leader. How can he f-cking lose to that bastard?!” – Kenzo unbelievably exclaimed and I can feel his rage. If he continues to be that angry, I am sure that he is going to burst out soon. His dark powers will surely be released without him knowing it and that could affect the hybrids around him, but nothing should really be worried about because I did not remove the nullification spell in this whole house so there is nothing to be worried about if he suddenly got angry.

He cannot use his powers here consciously or unconsciously.

“We do not know as well. But the night you got out to patrol the forest is the also the time when his detention is done, and when he came back, he is actually very sure that you are not going to return anymore and that we should pray to the guardians to keep you safe from any harm” – A kid hybrid said while she is hugging the hybrid who spoke before her. I looked at Cain again and just like a while ago, he is still frowning and also, I noticed how he is clenching the handle of his sword.

I put my right hand under my chin and I started to analyze what the hybrids said. Based from what they have said, I can say that it is the truth, I can sense it the auras they are emitting at the moment.

And based from that, I can hypothesize that all that has happened from Kenzo up until the them almost being sold in the auction event was no coincidence and everything is f-cking connected with each other. Not to mention that it looks like the emperor is greatly involved in this f-cking issue.

“When that man, Herald came back did you notice something different from him?” – I asked once again and the hybrids looked at each other and the woman who looks like the lover of the werewolf suddenly started to speak.

“He has this sword; it looks plain however when he used it against Alexander it kinda emitted some kind of magic that wounded Alexander badly. Other than that, I have noticed that he is always wearing this gold necklace that has a dragon engraved in it with rubies as its eyes. “

When she said that, Cain and Kenzo instantly cursed which made me look at the two.

“That necklace came from the emperor for sure.” – Cain

“That is a f-cking cursed sword. No wonder he was able to wound Alexander badly. It is a sword that can kill hybrids instantly but the condition is it should be wielded by someone who is hybrid of a human being and a monster” – Kenzo

I instantly grit my teeth because of what the two said, as much as I want to believe the two. I cannot because I haven’t seen it for myself.

“It is true, Mila. We have seen that sword before. And we are the ones who sealed that f-cking sword.” – Alarick suddenly said and that’s when I noticed that he has this bothered expression on his face.

“How is that man able to get that cursed sword? No one should be able to break our seal. Unless—

“Dark Magic has been used” – I continued what Aesir was about to say. F-ck, if that’s the case then there is a high chance that the emperor is f-cking connected to the person who is using dark magic to summon monsters and increase their abilities to make it hard for human beings to kill them. Not to mention that person is turning human beings into monsters.

F-ck I know that emperor is a good for nothing bastard, however I never thought that he is going to be greatly connected to the person we are going to hunt down for stealing the forbidden book and from disrupting the f-cking balance of this world.

I looked at Cain and I can feel his rage. He is f-cking mad. Damn I bet his familiar already told him what that cursed sword is.

But the question is. What is the f-cking purpose of that bastard emperor? Why is he collaborating with someone who kills people just for fun—or is it really just for f-cking fun?
