Route 1: A Visitor

It’s been five days since I have asked Theo to do an investigation regarding Lucas Williams and just like what I expected, he really did his task well and that he had gave me the results within three days. On the day that he had given me the report regarding his investigation, I immediately analyzed everything and just like what I have known so far about him those are the same things that Theo found.

Well, I am not going to lie - I kind of already expected that he will really find the same thing that I already knew about Lucas but of course, there is nothing wrong if I try to shoot my shot regarding the guy - if there are still other things that I don’t know yet. Well, there is nothing that interesting regarding except for one thing and that is the information that he has been continuous searching for a specific girl, his childhood friend that has been missing for quite some time now and becausee of persistence in looking for that girl, he’d even tried to contact the fourth male lead of the game, the so-called dog of the Empire that makes sure that the undeground society will be regulated, Demetrius.

Well, based from the game although Demetrius is a dog of the emperor he still has his freedom and not to mention thaat he really does have a wide variety of connections and there is no doubt that Lucas is trying to search for him because he is the only person that could help him find his childhood friend - which is none other than the female lead.

It is quite interesting because it wasn’t really mentioned in the storyline of the game that he did tried to look for the female lead, nor he tried to find Demetrius to be able to help him in whatever means possible. Well, that is interesting because the thing is, the female lead shouldn’t be missing, she should already be doing all the things that a saintess is expected to do and that is to travel the world in order to cure and help people.

And if Lucas is looking for her aroud the empire and still cannot find her all these years then there are two things: one is that she could possibly in another country or two is the worse case scenario that since I came to this world - inhabited the body of the supposed to be villainess and there is no denying the fact that I have already changed a lot of things then there is a huge possibility that she too have either disappeared or changed.

There is a eighty percent chance that the first reason I thought of is the one that happened and the remaining twenty percent is for the second reason. Well, the second reason most likely cannot happen but then again chances are not that low either. I am really considering a lot of variables right now because it is the common thing that has been happening in movies or novels that I have read with the same genre - that the moment that the plot has been changed by the one transmigrated into the world, then there is a high probablity that there are still a lot of changes in the story line as well.

Characters will even change or disappear and I need to prepare myself for such a thing.

“My lady, are you alright? You have been looking from afar for quite some time now” I heard Elisha said which made me turn my head towards her direction and at that moment, I b just realized that I have really completely dozed off thinking about what had happened for the past few days.

Well, I guess I am really just reminiscing and making sure that everything will go according to what I have planned because it is about time that we set out for the expedition. Well, since the subjugation of the dungeon is set to happen the day after tomorrow and that we still need to travel so we are going to leave tonight since going to the empire takes about more or less a day.

“Well, yes I am fine Elisha don’t worry. I am just wishing that there will be no interruptions in our travel later” that is what I said with a smile plastered on my face. Well, of course that is not what is on my mind, but then again I cannot tell her everything that I have been thinking.

“Are you excited to subjugate the dungeon, my lady?” she suddenly asked which instantly made me look at her and also had me think.

Well, am I really excited to subjugate the dungeon? Maybe yes. Well, although I have already known the gist of what it is like to explore that dungeon from the knowledge that I have from the game still I admit that I really am looking forward to see it with my own eyes because it is way different from being just illustrated through the screen of the phone.

But I am going to lie if I said if I am not nervous, I am really nervous because I am still new to these kind of things but of course, I shouldn’t let it show because that is going to make Calyx think that I am still not fit to subjugate the dungeon and worse case scenario is that he will stop me from what I am about to do, and I cannot let that happen.

I already came this far.

“Well, kind of. You know that this is actually the first time that I am officially going out of the duchy and not just because of some trip but I am finally going to experience what my family usually does” that is what I said and Elisha let out a smile, however it didn’t escape my sight how a worried look is also evident on her face.

But I no longer paid attention to it, as much as I want to reassure her that nothing bad is going to happen she too as well needs to realize that it is about time that I go out on my own and start doing the things that I need to do as an Elvoi especially with using magic. They really cannot keep me locked up for too long.

I then shift my gaze back to the window and I cannot help but to frown when I see a familiar carriage approaching the duchy.

What the hell is the carriage of the imperial family doing here?

I looked at Elisha and then I asked,

“Elisha, where is my brother right now again?”

“The young duke is checking the forest to ensure that the barriers are stable and that there are no monsters that have entered the vicinity” Elisha answered which made me heave a sigh. Calyx is away and also our parents are also away for a meeting with the other nobles in our territory regarding what happened days ago when they replenished the barrier.

And so, it is more than obvious that I am the only one left here in the house and so, I am the one that should entertain the person riding that carriage that is fast approaching the duchy. If it is Helios then more or less he is already fetching me and the knights that are about to come with me.

But the thing is Theo is still not here since he is with my brother and that we have scheduled our departure later at night and honestly, it is still really early to leave but it is alright if it is Helios but still why do we need to have a visitor at this hour and day

“I think we have a visitor tell the servants to prepae and also, you need to inform the knights as well that we may be leaving early” that is what I said and Elisha confusingly looked at me for a few second but right after she finally nod her head and left.
Well, I really hope that it is just the crown prince, Helios and not some other member of the royal family because I have no time to interact with any of them right now.
