Planner

*Joseph*
I woke up early considering the late night I spent taking away her pain. I looked over at her, sleeping peacefully, knowing there wasn't anything in the world I would allow to take her away.  I closed my eyes and thought of Jackson, still saddened by the loss of one of our own. He was something special to many in our group. I knew the city was going to be crowded when we headed in for the funeral. The party would probably need to be covered financially with the local police. It might get a little rowdy. I leaned against the headboard and looked through my phone. Many had messaged me asking me about the times and what needed to be prepared for his departure. We would hold a ceremony where he laid in a brotherhood designed casket. Everyone would get their time to say goodbye. Then he would be cremated and we would spread his ashes the next morning in the garden with the rest of the fallen. He would be surrounded by blood red roses, and cherry blossoms. A true sign of a warrior. I sent all the arrangements to the men in the city before turning off my phone and shoving it in my pocket. I look around the room and imagined my wedding night. What would she wear? What would she want to do? Would she want to come here and spend the night intertwined in one another, or would she want to travel somewhere exotic for our honeymoon? I will give her whatever it is she wants. I ran my fingers softly over her cheek. Her eyelashes fluttered and she sighed deeply when she felt my touch. Even subconsciously her body reacted to me. I ran my fingers softly down her arm to the tip of her fingers watching the hair and bumps rise as I did. Again, she took a deep breath in. I wanted her again, I always did. Maybe it wasn't appropriate to want her now, in this time of grief, but I didn't care.

I leaned down softly kissing a trail from her neck to her collarbone. She moaned softly without opening her eyes. “shhh!” I whispered, “Make no noise, darlin, just feel my fingers touching you. I pushed her gently to her back and ran my fingers over her chest, tracing each nipple and watching it harden with pleasure. I leaned closer blowing over the tips and she shuttered. “God, you are beautiful!” I said softly while I continued to cause the bumps to rise all over her stomach. When I reached the small patch of hair, I heard her suck in air quickly and I knew she was really struggling to stay quiet. “Shhh..” I blew into her ear before sliding my fingers in and finding how very excited my wake up had been for her. It wouldn't take much for me to lose control and pull her onto me. “Do you love me?” I asked her, she slowly nodded, and I moved my fingers faster. “Do you want to marry me?” I asked her, and she moaned out a “yes!” I quieted her again, this time slowing my pace. “Who do you belong to?” She opened her eyes and looked straight into mine. “You...” She mouthed, unable to speak without breaking my rule of silence. I pulled her onto me, losing control, and slammed inside of her. “Yes, you are mine! You will always be mine.” I growled as I took her hips in my hands and pulled her down onto me hard. She bit her bottom lip and looked as if she wasn't breathing. “Now, baby, now you show me how good I feel inside of you!” I ordered and instantly she started moaning and convulsing. When we both exploded, she collapsed on top of me. “Thats my good girl” I whispered brushing her hair from her face. “I love you, Sandy” I smiled, she gave me a breathy, “I love you too, king” and laid her head back down on my chest.

We laid there for what felt like an hour before moving. I would have laid there the whole day if my phone hadn't started to ring. I had to get up. I had to put in my comm and start my day. Heavy is the head that wears the crown, as they say. “Don't rush, darlin. Take you a nice hot shower, and come down when you are ready. I'm sure Henry already has breakfast for an army cooked down there.” She laid on her side on our bed, completely naked and looked up at me sweetly. Such a hard scene to leave. “Aren’t you going to shower?” Her voice was pouty, so I know she wanted me to shower with her. “I have spent enough time putting off my responsibilities for the day. They will send a search crew to get me, besides, I don't mind smelling like you all day. I kissed her forehead and threw a white tee on. She blushed at my words and grinned at me. “I won't let anyone bother you. Your comm is on the bed stand if you need us. I love you, my queen.” She blew me a kiss as I walked out of the room. While I walked down the hallway to my office I had to sober my face. I had to show the same remorse for the man we had lost. It was hurtful, but Sandra made my everyday better. She was the part of my life I had been missing since I left Ohio all those years ago. She was back, she was mine, and I couldn't help but feel good about it. Yes, I was upset over Jackson, over what has happened. This shit got out of control, but that woman takes my pain away. She is one hundred percent right, it a painkiller.

I got close to the office and could already smell Henry’s breakfast. Bacon for sure was on the menu. When I walked in, he was almost dancing around the kitchen, and Takara was watching him from the table. “Good morning.” I said as I walked past, Henry turned round and responded the same. Takara just smiled. I was surprised the poor thing has a smile in her after how broken she seemed the night before. She got to take out someone who hurt her badly, but killing someone can really take it out of you. Even someone who deserves it. I walked into my office and shut the door behind me. I sat there working on some things that had went to the wayside with the recent battle, and no one bothered me for a while. I heard a few comments here and there in my comm, but otherwise silence. It was a rough night for everyone, and we all needed that time to process. I felt a buzz in my pocket. When I pulled out my phone I had a new text from Sandra. She asked me if she could find a wedding planner to hire. My stomach fell to my feet. She is really going to marry me. I sent back a simple, “Yes.” I just needed to vet them before they were allowed into the house or around her, but I would have Jay handle that. I followed up with a “Just have to let me know who it is, so we can do our research.” The softness of her voice suddenly filled my ear. “Understood, Boss.” Before I could say anything, the others began telling her good morning. I shook my head and looked up at my computer. The invitation to the celebration of Jackson’s life popped up on the screen. His eyes staring at me from a photo they chose to put on the front of it. “I’m sorry brother.” I mumbled hearing the doorknob turn on my office door. Sandra walked through, in a sundress, taking my breath away. She walked up beside my chair and I grabbed her hand pulling her in for a kiss. When she stood back up, I showed her the beautiful Invitation we received. “That’s very nice. Who made it?” She asked, I looked at the email that had sent it to me. “Sophia.”

She looked at the screen a few moments before turning to me with a mischievous smile. I could almost see the light bulb flashing above her head. I could tell her wheels were turning. “What’s up?” I asked smiling back at her. “Sophia can be our wedding planner.”
