Queening the Pawn

I was trying to hide my shakey hands under the table as the food was cleared meaning the meeting would start. I was anxious, more than I thought I would be. Trying to keep my focus on my king and the knights around me, I looked up at Tanya. She was scared too, her face paler than normal. "Hey Ta.." I paused not sure what to call her in a crowd. Zeus looked over at her and then at me, "Evelyn," he said smiling at her. He leaned closer to the table whispering its meaning. "It means wished for." I watched her cheeks turn red as she looked down at her fingers. "Evelyn, It's going to be okay," I said reaching for her hand. In my mind, a queen should be a protector, a leader, and show strength to the other women in the kingdom. She looked up at me slightly nodding before I watched Zeus place a protective hand on hers. "Sunshine, if you and Evelyn, is it? If you would like to head out for the meeting that is okay?" Joseph said smirking towards us. I shook my head not firmly hearing a huff around the table. One of the younger leader's men seemed unhappy with the presence of the woman around the table. I smiled at him. "Can I ask sir, Why do the women have to be in this meeting? They are not a part of the brotherhood, and have no real business here." It was Blaze who spoke up to protect his man. I watched a darkness flash across Joseph's eyes, realizing I was no longer seeing Jo, but instead seeing Smoke. He stood up and looked around the table. "These women can stay if they choose to, they are our family, so they are exposed to everything anyway." he said coldly, adding "If you have a problem with it young brother, I can replace you as I did Ark." He was looking directly at Blaze. He shook his head, no, but I could see his follower wasn't so easy to convince. These men needed to see me as the queen, not as the sad girl, or broken girl that I am sure they had all heard stories about. Some even may blame me for what happened with Ark. I stood up and before the others could stop me I walked around the table. "Hello, I can tell you have an issue with me being here. This is a family meeting, right? I promise if you speak your mind, I will ensure it stays here." I said as sternly as I could stepping back to give him room to turn around. I looked back to Joseph but he had sat back down looking impressed.

The young guy turned around and stood up, "Okay queen." He was being sarcastic, obviously amused. "What is your name?" I asked calmly determined to not show him emotion like I had watched Joseph do. "Feek." He said almost causing me to laugh. I didn't. I nodded at him and motioned for him to take the floor. "I don't know why these women are here. This is the first time we have had to have a meeting surrounded by wet spots, just because they are riding some of the leaders. For the love of god that one," He said pointing at one of the girls, "Is a hooker that used to suck off Mighty, and just moved to the next leader like he was standing in the glory hole li.." Before he could finish the guy sitting beside the one he called a hooker was on his feet and Feek was laying on the ground. Jay was up and standing in front of me, being my guard again by instinct. I looked at him and smiled telling him to sit back down. "You are?" I asked the guy who attacked Feek. "I am Pan, queen, Sorry for my reaction." It suddenly made sense to me. I had heard about Pan in the South, so the hooker he was speaking of must be Candy. I looked back at Joseph feeling like I had slightly gotten in over my head. The look on his face is dangerous. "Well Pan, I would have hit him too," I said shaking his hand. He smiled. I looked around at the table, "Anyone else has a issue to discuss before we get down to real business?" I asked seeing almost all of the men respond. I had gained some respect here. I even caught the older lady at the end of the table smiling at me with a slight nod. I made a mental note to introduce myself to her. Joseph finally stood up and cleared his throat. "If anyone can tell me that my queen didn't just do exactly what I would have done, I will make the women leave the room." He said sharply looking around the room. No one spoke. I don't know if it's out of fear for their king, or if they agree with him, but it was an amazing thing to see. I had submitted to him a few nights prior after he spanked me, but watching a whole table of people become submissive to his word had a whole new level of effect on me. I wanted to kneel for him, now, to show them all how much I enjoyed being his.

I walked back to the table and sat down, now just admiring my man leading his meeting with strength alone. I found myself craving to touch him, so I slid one of my legs towards his. He glanced at me knowingly and licked his lips. The man sitting beside the older woman spoke up first. "Boss, Queen, Famly, Everything in my territory has been pretty smooth lately. There was some kind of small rebel gang trying to bother some of my community, but we handled it severely. Also, I will say miss.." He said looking at me, "My queen Sofia, I have included her in my business for years. A marriage doesn't work in our world if you are not equals. My name is Hector, and I for one am very glad you have opened Smoke's eyes to the importance of having our better halves here." He smiled at me before sitting down. I smiled back mouthing, "Thank you", to both of them. I watched again as Smoke listened to most of his men talk to him giving him updates. Pan told him that he was doing well in the South. Everyone had fallen in line with the brotherhood since Darrell had disappeared and Ryan was no more. I swallowed hard as he said that. I pushed my leg closer to Joseph. He asked Candy about her vacation, which I assume meant rehab, and she told him she was better now. He gave Pan his blessing in a way for being with Candy. Slowly each member had updated him on things, telling him new things that had come up in their territory. He would talk them through ideas to keep everything kosher. He was amazing, intelligent, and strong. I wanted to feel him inside of me so bad I was slightly trembling. It amazed me the effect he had on me, and my body. Finally, Feek had apologized to the group, to Blaze, to Candy, and then to me. I barely heard him being so focused on the pulsing between my legs. I looked over and smiled at him thanking him. My voice is breathy and soft. I saw Joseph smirk at me and I knew he was aware of my current situation.

Finally, it was Joseph's turn to update. He told them about what happened to Ark welcoming Blaze to his first meeting with a laugh. The whole table seemed to chuckle at once relaxing more than they had the whole time. I knew he was trying to relax them to get them ready to take on the weight of what comes next. He told everyone how happy he was that everything had been running so smoothly in each of their territories. He commented on wishing he had known a long time ago the value of having the smarter sex at the table, making Hector laugh out loud. He leaned down and kissed me on the forehead in front of them, showing them his human side for probably the first time judging by the collective wide-eyed stares. "I have a problem of my own I have to handle. The blowback may be suffered by all of us. We all know Luca in the peak has a problem treating these beautiful female creatures correctly. He is currently holding on to one that I want to remove from his grip. You will notice my young brother, Henry, hasn't joined us. He is in the peak right now watching her, making sure she is safe inside his dungeons up there. He is adamant he is saving her as well. Those of you who know him know he will not let this go until she is at the safe house. We have a plan, a good one. If it works the way we want it to we will get her out without any retaliation. If we can't, we will be taking her anyway. So I need you to be vigilant. If anyone needs me call as soon as something comes up. The plan goes down tomorrow so I will let all leaders know what's next the morning after. If you want to back down from the position please tell me now." He looked around the room and no one said a word. Pure silence. After a few moments, Hector was again the one to speak, after noticeably whispering to Sofia. "We are with you, boss." He said and the rest of the table started agreeing with him. Afterward, everyone was standing in groups speaking with one another when I felt an arm wrap around my waist. I froze before hearing his voice whispering in my ear, "I cannot wait much longer darling, I want to make you shake." Shivers shot up my spine. I spun around and looked at him, "I don't want to wait anymore, King."
