Visiting Hours

We took the new car to the hospital because Joseph didn't want to draw attention to us. I tried to get him to stay at the house away from the public eye, but he insisted that he come with us. I wore a big black hoodie with some joggers. I pulled the hood up over my head as we pulled up to the hospital. I wasn't scared of them, I made a vow to myself that I wouldn't be, but I didn't want to cause any more problems for Tanya. I didn't want to cause a scene with my brotherhood guys either. We walked in through the emergency room entrance and down toward the intensive care unit. I felt the stares from people. I was a petite woman hiding my face surrounded by large dangerous-looking men. Especially, Jay, he was downright intimidating. I looked back at him smiling, he smiled back not knowing why, just simply because I smiled at him. When we got through the intensive care doors I saw Brian standing by the nurse's station. Suddenly being discreet completely left my mind. I stormed over to him feeling rage building up with each step. I heard someone behind me say Sunshine as I walked, but I didn't stop for them. "What the fuck happened? Where were you? Did you know? Did you know they were coming for her? Did you let them?" I looked up at Brian as I yelled watching him take a few steps backwards. "What are you talking about Sandy? I was at work." This time he stepped towards me. I didn't budge. Brian wasn't a large guy, he had an average set of boy band-type muscles with the brown swoosh undercut to match. His eyes were so brown they looked black. I stepped towards him again, "Where is she?" I was close enough to him now to feel his breath hit my face as I stared directly into his eyes. "If you can't act like a fucking adult Sandra, you don't need to know." I started to yell again and felt a strong hand on my shoulder. I looked up and to my right seeing Joseph's eyes dark and glaring at Brian. I reached up putting my hand over his subtly shaking my head no. "I want to see her Brian, Where is she?" I said a little calmer, trying to keep my protectors at bay. They had all surrounded me now. Brian was looking around me with wide eyes, a blank stare on his face. "Brian?" I said reminding him that I was there.

He looked down at me and smirked, "She's In 204 Sandra. She's awake. She will be glad to see you." he winked at me when he finished talking. He was trying to set them off. Probably trying to get them thrown out of the unit. I turned quickly putting my hand up in front of them. "He can't win," I said letting them know what I thought he was doing without saying it. Jay nodded at me first as the others continued to glare towards Brian. Zeus even had his hand on the gun I knew laid on his hip. "C'mon guys, let's go see Tanya," I said walking towards the room. When I walked in I instantly wanted to cry, Tanya had her eyes closed. She was black and blue almost completely on her face. One of her eyes looked to be swollen shut. She had a sling around one arm and her leg was in a cast. What the hell did they do to her? I walked over to her bed and sat on the edge. "Hey Tanya, It's Sandra," I said quietly laying my hand on hers. She opened her eyes slowly turning her hand to grip mine tight. She looked past me to see my bodyguards standing by the door. All of them awkwardly staring at the walls. I noticed Zeus was staring straight at her, his eyes looked misty. "They are here for me Tawn, not for you. How are you feeling?" She instantly started to cry but not with noise just with tears streaming down her face. One after another. I reached to her bedside table grabbing a tissue to wipe the tears away for her. "Ryan." She said quietly. I shook my head looking around us to let her know that I knew. "Was there another guy with him?" I asked squeezing her hand to try and comfort her. She shook her head yes. I heard Brian at the door, but I think she saw him first. Her eyes got larger and she started to shake some. "Was he there too?" She wouldn't respond. She was terrified. Jay and Henry blocked Brain from coming in. "That's my wife fucker, I can go in if I want to!" I heard him saying at the door. Jay chuckled at him. "Go sit down little boy." He said shoving him backwards. Tanya opened her mouth in a perfect O shocked to see someone treat her monster like that. Brian didn't come back for a while. He knew he was outmatched here. He could have threatened to arrest them, but Mr. Coyan would get them out in minutes, and he knew that.

I sat and talked to her for a while. She told me that Ryan knocked on the door asking for Brian, he walked in and Brian walked out. Afterward, Ark walked in the front door as well. They tied her to a chair asking questions about me. They thought she might know where Joseph had taken me, but I hadn't even talked to her since I was taken. I didn't want her to be involved in this mess. I could feel my anger rising, my darkness coming forward. When she couldn't tell them anything, they stripped her, taking turns assaulting her. I sat there crying. She looked over at the guys again, and I noticed they had sat down on the chairs beside the door. Jay was still guarding of course. Zeus had his head buried in his hands. Joseph was focused on me, and Henry was focused on Brian outside. I asked Tanya if she wanted to get away from Brian. She hesitated, probably out of fear, but eventually shook her head yes. I told her we would protect her. I looked back asking if they could get Mr. Coyan here with a divorce as they had with Ryan and me. Joseph shook his head yes, still not speaking, and Zeus volunteered to go pick him up. "Take Henry with you, and be careful. I feel like Ryan and Ark aren't far." Joseph warned them as they walked out of the room. "This is Smoke." I walked over to him pulling him towards the bed. "Hello, Tanya." He said as nicely as he could muster with his intimidating voice. She said hello back to him. "The big guy by the door is Jay, He is our protector and Ryan's worse nightmare." I smiled at Jay seeing him blush. Tanya sat up slowly saying hello to Jay as well. He nodded at her. "The other two are Zeus and Henry. Zeus is also a protector. He seems kinda standoffish at first, but he is a gentle giant. Henry is a chef, but just as tough, though he makes me laugh more than any of them." I smiled at the thought of the other two guys. My friends. My family. Joseph excused himself walking out of the room and heading for Brian who was sitting in a chair down the hall. I saw Brain get angry making the mistake of getting in Joseph's face. The next thing I could see was Brian against the wall off his feet with a hand around his neck. I looked to Jay to help but he shook his head no. He was being entertained.

I walked past Jay giving him a scolding look and headed towards Joseph. "Smoke, What are you doing? You are bringing too much attention to yourself. Put the prick down please." I said sweetly though I couldn't ignore my enjoyment in seeing Brian being manhandled. "Let him go?" Joseph said smirking at me. I shook my head, yes knowing I was going to regret it. He lifted Brain higher grabbing his shirt and throwing him into the wall. "There I let him go." He said shrugging as he wrapped his arm around my shoulders. "You bitch, bringing this trash to talk to my wife. Ryan was right to beat you senseless, you stupid whore." Brian spat at me from the floor. I put my hand firmly on Josephs's chest to stop him from killing him. The nurses here looked scared so I expected the security to show up soon. I saw Zeus walking in with Henry and Mr. Coyan out of the corner of my eye. "Brian, if you don't want me to let my king rip your fucking head off, I would suggest you sign for this divorce and disappear." I smiled at him simply turning around and walking back to my friend. Minutes later Brian walked in in front of Joseph who shoved him into the room. He looked at Tonya glaring, trying to scare her, I had seen that look and I wasn't having it. I stepped in front of her and winked at him, "Happy divorce day Brian I wish I had bought you a card." I said sharply smiling at him. I could feel the darkness radiating off of me. He signed the paper from Mr. Coyan though he didn't have much of a choice. Afterward, he was escorted out of the room by Jay. He stormed off through the double doors at the end of the hall. " I don't think thats over Henry, keep an eye on him," Joseph ordered, Henry walked out of the room following behind him. Tanya signed the divorce paper while thanking us all over and over. I placed my hand on hers again. "Don't be thanking me Tawn, this is all my fault, I will see that you get better and get out of this place free and clear of all of them," I said calmly to keep her calm, but it was a very serious vow. I looked up to Joseph and he nodded at me to accept my vow. Zeus went to ask the doctor when we could take her home. He said she had to stay for a few more days. Jay called for two of his trusted guards to come to stay with her. Joseph looked at me and then to Zeus. "Zeus would you stay with her too, we are more familiar with her, She may need a trusted face." He asked Zeus as he put his arms around me sitting his head on top of mine. Zeus nodded and I caught him trying not to smile. I looked up at Joseph who was also smiling. He leaned down to my ear whispering, "He needs to protect her, like I did you." I felt the goosebumps rise all over me.

Zeus was sitting in a chair beside her bed glancing at her and then looking away. I rolled my eyes at him and sat down on her bed again. She looked up at me with a strange look on her face, like she wanted to say something but couldn't find the words. "What's up, Tanya? Is something wrong?" She grimaced as she tried to sit up more. Leaning towards me she told me quietly in my ear that Ryan had told her something before he left. When I asked her what he said her response made me weak. "He left a number for you to call in my purse, He said Takara is next unless you do as he says."
